I always go through the left side of the drive through bc the fountain coke is so sweet and carbonated. I get a huge coke with extra ice and a huge sweet tea with extra ice then just a huge cup of ice. I bring my yetis to transfer drinks into so they will stay fresh longer. I have never had a problem with any of their food but I love the cheese fries and the quesadillas. The staff at this location are the best. They always go above and beyond to make my food fresh and to order. I cannot eat spicy food so for the quesadilla they always make them for me without the spicy quesadillas sauce. You get a decent amount of food for not a lot of money. You can't go wrong with the $5 tray. I usually get chicken strips, corn dog, and Cajun fries and I have never been disappointed. Literally every time I have gone to a cookout, the only times they mess up my order is by giving me extra food and this specific cookout is no exception. The sweet tea is always on point and the employees were nice. This time I went inside to order and it was overall clean, but all the surfaces seemed to be sticky from soda or something. This spot is usually our go-to. However, despite all of their signs to the contrary, they either do not wear masks here, or they wear them incorrectly. The lady at the drive-thru window on 9/20 was wearing a yellow mask, but she had it pulled down under her chin while interacting with customers. We also observed an un-masked back-of-house staff member repeatedly whiping his nose with his hands. Unacceptable. Won't be going back because Cook Out is not worth COVID.
