I also appreciated that they use a soft wash process rather than harsh pressure washing, which is much safer for the roof and exterior surfaces. The results were incredible. Our roof is so clean that the original lighter color is showing again, and all of the black gunk is completely gone. The concrete looks brand new, and they even cleaned an exterior wall that wasn't included in the original quote. Kris, his brother, and his nephew were amazing to work with. They were professional, friendly, and incredibly hardworking. They clearly take pride in their work and went above and beyond. I'm so impressed with the results that I'm seriously considering signing up for their annual cleaning service. Some insurance companies have been sending letters requiring homeowners to get this done, and after looking at our roof we figured we'd better get ahead of the letter. I met with Chris (the owner) and he was great throughout the process. He's doing a lot of work in Folsom because the moss is going crazy here for some reason. His team came out and started with the roof... and oh my gosh... the amount of stuff that came off our roof was stunning, like maybe two ten gallon buckets of moss and crud (first time cleaning in 30 years). They cleaned the solar panels, then proceeded to power wash the entire house, and all the concrete front, back and side yards. Everything is cleaner now, and worth the expense. I checked with other companies too, but Cali offered the all-in-one bundle that left the roof, screens, walls, and concrete looking great.

We have done clear lights as well as the holiday style (red, green, white) and get compliments each year from neighbors and passers by! (We like a clean aesthetic so I don't know how much styling they can do if you like to be extra on your display, so you'll have to ask!) They are easy to schedule, very communicative, and get the job done in about 2 hours with a crew of about 4 dudes. They also do free maintenance in case a bulb comes undone due to heavy weather! Not cheap, but peace of mind, convenience, and beauty never is!

The job (by one person) took about four hours, non-stop. He even asked our next door neighbors for permission to clean up a bit that went over there (homes here are very close together). In the areas that I and my husband were able to look at, it looks almost like a new roof. As you can see from the before / after photos, there are a few stains remaining, but all living garbage (moss, lichen, and whatever else was growing up there) is completely gone. They were highly recommended by our roofer, so I didn't get any other quotes. I can't say whether the price was high, low, or average. At roughly 75 cents per square foot, the cost was certainly more than I was expecting. (The type of roof, as well as its pitch, probably also factors in to the pricing.) So 5* for the job as accomplished, with the caveat that the price seemed high. But then again, what doesn't these days?
