I got this bbq chicken cutlet sandwich and i thought it was pretty good. There was alot of customers so that was a good sign. The workers in there were cool. They have a big selection of hot food definitely tryna come back and try something else.

The Rudest Manager I Have Ever Come Across, If Thats What She Is. You Could See Her Treating Staff Like They Meant Nothing To Her. I Feel Bad For The Employees. The Food is Over Priced For What It Is, Mediocre.

This is a 16$ sandwich

Today I thought I would treat my mom to a pastrami sandwich so my neighbor referred me to cookie so I figured I'd give it a try. I entered the establishment and was greeted by a Hispanic male who took my order. I proceeded to place my order for two pastrami sandwiches both with mustard on rye bread. I then watched the man place two plates in a microwave and magically my sandwiches where done I asked originally for extra pastrami not only did he put on the sticker as he put extra and didn't I then proceeded to pay. When I got to the register their was a tall caucasian male with a ponytail working I asked him is this a sandwich that has extra protein on it he lookin at me and said I don't know I didn't make it I paid the 45$ for two sandwiches and two fruit cups I then went to the truck to check the sandwiches and discovers their was no mustard I took the sandwiches back inside and spoke to the same Hispanic male who took my order he gave me an attitude because he fucked up my order first and last time I will step foot in the place

Great food options , bad service and rude staff. I spend 60 dollars 2-3 times a week here getting food for my workers and still always rude staff !! Wouldn't go if your in a rush or in a bad mood !!

Hadn't been there in sometime I went there I ask for my Hero to be made a specific way apparently he wanted to make it his way not even paying attention to me and I didn't even have the right amount of meat on it meaning they're cutting back but charging more now really sad used to be a good hero shop I think I'll go to middle country Road now from now on if I could give it less than a one star I would

Hot pastrami - yes. I like lettuce & tomato on a hot sandwich

My BFF overhyped this place over the phone to me for a while, so I had to visit when I came to town. Long Islanders have their spots and this is one of them on this side of town. I'm a salad girl and although I liked my salad, it was nothing I couldn't make better at home. The dressings were just okay. I like the fact that you can choose what you want to add to your salad, however as a salad connoisseur, I expect the right balance between ingredients in a salad to make it scrumptious. These ingredients were just thrown in and mixed. My pastrami on rye wasn't as hot as I would've liked...I did get fresh lettuce and tomato on it (to their defense) but I always try to get fresh veggies on a sandwich and other NY (and FL delis for that matter) have been able to pull off my request with great success and deliciousness. Being a corned beef and pastrami lover, I am very acute to what an average sandwich tastes like...and that's what this was. Just average. I do need to give the place points for variety.

This will run ya about 14 bux after tax

So many better delis in this area. Unless you like overpriced food with a side of attitude.

Average deli fare food with a high price tag. The place is clean and well maintained but that doesn't warrant the price.

I ordered what may be the perfect breakfast sandwich: eggs, burrata, prosciutto, arugula, and hot honey on a fresh poppy seed roll. Every flavor worked together perfectly. The guys working there were kind, efficient, and even gave me a military discount, which I truly appreciated as a veteran. Great food, great service, and definitely a place I'll stop at again the next time I'm on Long Island.

It is hard to have food, especially breakfast delivered and not have to heat it up. The pancakes were perfect. Not burnt or dense, the fruit on them was still cool and all perfectly ripened. The sandwiches were exactly as ordered and the perfect mix of ingredients. The one area of improvement would have been the way the coffee was packaged. It was packaged in paper cups wrapped in Saran Wrap. By the time it made it to us the coffee had sufficiently spilled out of the cups which saturated the paper and made the Saran Wrap a wet mess to get off. Other than that I would highly recommend them for breakfast food even if it will be delivered.

If I can do negative stars I would . So completely disappointed in you , John…read more Maple St. Deli has been a huge disappointment, especially considering it's within walking distance of my home. It's a quaint neighborhood deli with over 100 years of history, which is why I kept giving it chance after chance. I've ordered from this deli many times. They have frequently gotten my order wrong, but I never complained. I simply accepted it and moved on. On Father's Day, I ordered three egg sandwiches around 10:00 a.m. I arrived at 10:30 to pick them up and still waited another 15 minutes. After spending about $35, the order was wrong. Again, I let it go. Today was the final straw. I ordered two egg sandwiches and a small deli iced tea for delivery. The total was $33 before tip. The owner, John, delivered the order himself. He rang my Ring doorbell twice but never knocked. We completed the exchange without issue. When I opened the bag, the order was wrong--again. I called and politely asked to speak with the owner. I explained that my order had been made incorrectly. Instead of trying to resolve the issue, John hung up on me. I called back three more times, and each time either he or his staff hung up on me. I drove to the deli to speak with him face-to-face. His response was simply, "That's unfortunate," and he refused to remake the sandwiches or offer any refund or solution. Everyone makes mistakes. What separates a good business from a bad one is how those mistakes are handled. I wasn't angry about an incorrect sandwich--I was shocked by the complete lack of customer service, accountability, and basic respect. After years of overlooking mistakes and trying to support a local business, this experience has guaranteed I will never return. There are plenty of delis that appreciate their customers and stand behind their service. Unfortunately, Maple St. Deli isn't one of them.

The sausage & egg were not large enough for the bagel. This was also one of the more expensive bagel sandwiches I've bought in the area and I don't think the quality matches the price. The place also felt messy and unclean. Maybe the quality and cleanliness would have been better if I got food first thing in the morning, but I don't think I'll be heading back here anytime soon given the other options in the area.

So I made my way over there to try em out. Long Island really rapes you on a bacon egg and cheese, or at least this crap-hole does. Paid something close to $9 and it was god awful. I have a hard time believing this ever could have been good. I see 80-90% of the pix on here are from one dude three years ago, some look good n all, but this place is anything but. Hard pass. Signed - a guy struggling with living on Long Island again.
