The receipt also says it was for a "breaker repair" when no repairs were made. This place is shady! To follow up with the business' response. I was not notified in writing or over the phone of the charge. They are scamming people out of money without any notice which is illegal. Plenty of places offer free estimates and don't try to extort you out of undisclosed fees.

We wanted a plumber to come out and redirect our water to go straight to our traditional water heater and we wanted an electrician to make sure there was not any active power still running to this unit. They sent out a gentleman named Ray, he came out to my home the very next morning after giving this company a call. He called to let me know he was on his way with his ETA. They charged me for a service call; he got up on the roof to look at the system, and also was very thorough by crawling into our attic space directly under the unit to double check that there was not some source of power below it. My ancient AC unit needed full replacement, so I did my due diligence and started calling around to get bids from different companies (while sweating profusely). Right out the gate, Julio was absolutely awesome. He not only answered after hours, but he took the time to explain different questions I should be asking all of the contractors to make sure I'm getting the best warranty possible and the most complete service. That alone was above and beyond-- he didn't have to do that, but it goes to show that not only is he about educating and empowering consumers. . . but that he also knows his product and service is incredible enough to stand up to that level of scrutiny. After getting multiple bids from different highly ranked companies around the town, Great Dane HVAC provided the best warranty by a mile (literally about double the length of what many others were offering across multiple categories), but his quote was also very reasonable (and beat many of the competitors who were offering smaller units with less warranty for $2000+ more). All along the way, communication with Julio was awesome-- whether via calls, texts, or in person, Julio communicated everything promptly and was just generally awesome. Julio is awesome and I can't recommend Great Dane HVAC enough. They just left a little bit ago and my house is already back to a normal, refreshing temp. They've got lifetime customers now!

He solved my flickering lights problem almost immediately so he spent the rest of the hour fixing and advising me on some other issues that he noticed during diagnosis. It turned out that the washer was a separate alarm company hookup issue. Best service ever. Most companies would charge you for the first hour, fix the reported problem and leave.
