Unfortunately, suddenly we were told by the manager to leave the restaurant AFTER being seated, ordered and everything. Would have appreciated the place and the crepe more when we were able to eat it fresh. But the crepe ended up being a watery mess when we got home to eat it. The first time I went, I ordered an iced green tea latte with coconut cold foam. The sweet girl working the window (a younger girl with glasses) was so kind and fun to talk with. We chatted about matcha and drinks, and she even encouraged me to try my drink before leaving to make sure I loved it. That little extra bit of customer service really stood out to me! I ended up coming back again because I was in the area, and this time I tried their coffee. I have to say, their espresso is GOOD. I'm not sure what beans they're using, but whatever they're doing, keep it up! The coffee was just as delicious as the matcha. While I was there, I also grabbed one of their seasonal scones -- the peach cobbler flavor -- and wow, it was amazing. The scone itself was delicious, and the icing on top was the perfect touch. I also found out that they make a lot of their syrups in-house, and you can truly taste the difference. Everything has such a fresh, unique flavor compared to your typical coffee shop. I haven't gotten to try their snow cones or dirty sodas yet, but their creamy snow cones look absolutely incredible, so those are definitely next on my list!

For the time being, they only have a drive-thru, but they are working on opening the inside (this is the building where Cherry's used to be. In fact, at the time of this review the Cherry's sign is still there). When my boyfriend and I went today, the owner of Shimmers, Amy McSwane, was there. She is SO nice! It was obvious that she greatly enjoys what she does and it's a treat to interact with her. Great service+Great product, yo. I could go on about what all they have, but the website listed has everything on there. They also have a Facebook page and a Twitter (I follow them on Facebook, because I made a conscious decision not to Twitterz) that posts updates about their hours (due to weather or otherwise) and even little deals from time to time. Such as, today was $0.50 off snocones (individually) if you follow them. I've only been to 2 of the 4 locations, but I'm willing to bet the other two are just as great.
