I'm torn on this review because while the food and our server were incredible, the initial experience at the host stand was really disappointing. Our waitress was absolutely the best! She was so kind, super attentive, and made a point to make eye contact and engage with everyone at the table. It was my dad's birthday, and they brought out a birthday treat for him, which was such a nice, thoughtful touch. However, the check-in process was very uncomfortable. The host who greeted us didn't make eye contact with me at all, a person with a disability. Instead of speaking to me directly, he asked the person I was with if I needed a child's menu. As an adult, being talked about rather than talked to was rude and honestly pretty embarrassing. It would have been much more professional to provide standard menus for everyone or just ask me directly if I needed anything specific. The kitchen definitely knows what they are doing. Everything came out hot, fresh, and delicious: The bread and butter were warm and a great start. We had the bruschetta and a shrimp appetizer, both were hits. Our table ordered the cheeseburger and fries, the salmon, and two orders of the short ribs. Everyone loved their meal and had zero complaints about the food quality. The restaurant was packed and had a high-energy vibe, but the music was way too loud, it made it a bit hard to talk. The lighting was also a bit strange; it was very dark, and at several points, the lights would flicker or completely turn off and on again, which was a bit distracting. If you want to go on a Sunday evening like we did (6:00 PM), definitely plan ahead! We made our reservation a couple of days before, but by the time our day arrived, they were completely booked. I'd recommend making a reservation at least a week in advance to be safe. I would definitely come back for the food and the excellent waitstaff service, but I really hope management works with their hosting team on how to treat every guest with basic respect and direct communication. read more

We visited for my mother's birthday and were made to feel extremely welcomed from the moment we walked in. It was a perfect celebration, largely thanks to the incredible service. Victoria was an absolute "apex server." She was so kind and attentive, but what really stood out was her deep knowledge of the wine list. We ordered a bottle of the Cooper's Hawk White, and it was spectacular--absolute perfection! Her recommendations were spot on and paired beautifully with our meal. For dinner we had the Parmesan crusted Chicken and Chicken Piccata that both were awesome. Our waitress was great and always on the ball. The only minor thing I thought was when we walked in for a table with the hostess, she only mentioned the bar area and high tops when they had a ton of booths and tables. When I asked for a table instead it was a little awkward but they walked us over immediately so I wasn't sure why it felt uncomfortable. This was honestly such a disappointing experience. Yesterday, after my niece's dance recital, we stopped by Cooper's Hawk around 3 PM hoping to get on the standby list for dinner. We were a small party, and while I completely understand restaurants get busy, I was shocked by how rude and dismissive the host was. The issue wasn't being told there would be a wait. The issue was the attitude. We were immediately told we wouldn't be seated until 8 PM, with no effort to be welcoming, helpful, or even courteous. We were made to feel like an inconvenience simply for walking through the door. What makes this especially disappointing is that I've been a longtime Wine Club member and supporter of this location. I was even involved with the project during construction and have proudly supported the restaurant since it opened. My husband and I used to spend Friday nights at the bar because the bartenders were always friendly, remembered us, and made us feel valued. Unfortunately, customer service starts at the front door, and yesterday's interaction overshadowed years of positive experiences. The hospitality that once made this location special seems to be gone. As a result, I will be canceling my Wine Club membership and taking my business elsewhere. We celebrated my 40th birthday here last night and the entire experience was absolutely phenomenal from start to finish. We began with a wine tasting and were taken care of by Jaylen (I hope I'm spelling that correctly). He was truly outstanding. His customer service was some of the best I've experienced anywhere -- incredibly warm, friendly, knowledgeable, and welcoming. He made the tasting so much fun and took such great care of us. The wines themselves were incredible, and he helped make the experience feel special and relaxed rather than rushed. After the tasting we stayed for dinner, and the experience somehow got even better. The service throughout the evening was fantastic. Our waitress was wonderful -- attentive, kind, and thoughtful without ever being intrusive. I unfortunately didn't catch her name, but she absolutely helped make the evening feel like a true celebration. We started with a bottle of Vin Velouté, which was unbelievably smooth and delicious. For our appetizer we ordered the crispy Brussels sprouts and I was completely blown away. The flavors were incredible -- easily the best Brussels sprouts dish I have ever had anywhere. For dinner I ordered Dana's Parmesan-crusted chicken with tomato basil relish, lemon butter, Betty's potatoes, and green beans. The dish was light, fresh, and perfectly balanced. Lemon can sometimes overpower a dish, but here it was done flawlessly -- bright and flavorful without taking over. Every component of the plate complemented the others beautifully. I desperately wanted to try the crème brûlée because it's one of my favorite desserts, but after the wine and such an amazing meal I was simply too full to do it justice. Instead, we were offered the birthday truffles, which turned out to be the perfect sweet ending to the evening. Everything about the night -- the wine, the food, the service, and the atmosphere -- made my birthday celebration truly special. Very nice! I took my wife to Cooper's hawk for our anniversary. I did make the recommended reservation, but arrived early, so stopped at the wine bar and had a glass of wine. The staff there was very friendly. There is a small gift shop where you can spend a few minutes looking around as you wait. After about 20 minutes, we were seated. My wife didn't care for the table and requested a booth. They accommodated our request without question. The restaurant itself is simple and elegant. Our server promptly asked for our drink order and asked if we had any questions. We placed our orders and were given a nice pretzel bread loaf while we waited. I decided on the Surf & Turf, with the Parmesan Crusted Filet Medallions and Salmon. They came with regular mashed potatoes and grilled vegetables. I asked if I could substitute the potatoes for Wasabi mashed potatoes instead and was told no problem. Everything was delicious. The filet was tender and perfectly cooked. The wasabi mashed potatoes were out of this world. And the mixed vegetables were some of the best ever! My wife had the special Calabrian shrimp and really enjoyed it as well. My son recently visited Cooper's Hawk with a group of friends to celebrate a birthday, and unfortunately their experience was very disappointing. The group was made up of teenagers, but they were paying customers just like everyone else in the restaurant. From their perspective, they were treated dismissively by their server and did not feel welcomed or valued. The service they received seemed noticeably different from what other tables were receiving. One of the most frustrating parts of the experience was waiting approximately 20 minutes for their check after requesting it. While delays can happen, the overall interaction left them feeling as though they were being ignored because of their age. A birthday celebration should be a positive experience, and instead the group left feeling disrespected and unwelcome. Teen customers deserve the same courtesy, attention, and respect as any other guest. What a night! Went to Coopers Hawk for Valentine's Day - it was crazy busy. Had 2:15 reservations, got seated @ 2:30. Wall to wall people. Everyone was super friendly, even as busy as it was, with the exception of the female employee working on her computer where you check in. She would not look up to help you, and if addressed directly she was very short and bothered by any customer. The host who took us to our table was engaging. We got a fantastic group of waitresses at our table. Everyone was helping out. We sat outside, I requested patio seating and it was a beautiful night. The road is loud but loved the fresh air. We ordered pot stickers for appetizers and they were delicious. Bloody Mary's were fantastic. Our party of 4 ordered steak and lobster, fillet mignon medallions, & short ribs and mac n cheese - it was the only time we quit talking. Dinner was amazing. Dessert was the banana pie and cookie with ice cream. Both equally decadent. We went back to the lobby and bought a beautiful bottle of wine and looked at their case of chocolates. We love this place, we've been there twice now and must say the chef knows what he's doing. I love that management walks around the restaurant the whole night checking on customers, this is lost on other restaurants and definitely pays off here. There's a surprising amount of seating in the main dining areas and the bar area. There's also a very long bar near the entrance for wine tasting, with a shop and merchandise in the same area. My husband has a food allergy and we've been to three separate of their restaurants and none have been able to accommodate him. A "scratch kitchen" has always been able to put something together. All he can order there is a burger. I ordered a risotto dish that had been reheated and had cold parts. We went to CH for a last minute dinner to celebrate our 5 yr wedding anniversary and it was our first time going. He was not happy about it and when she came to check on us after a long while he couldn't even finish swallowing his food to tell her before she just took off. One thing we were surprised about was how long it took for our food to come and at that point it wasn't that busy but it seems to be trend per reviews we've read. For desert we got the smores bodino and it was tasty, but too much chocolate mouse and the vessel it is in, is not functional. Seeing the layers in the clear seamless wine glass is cute but hard to eat and get into. If it were in a larger ramekin, it would be much easier to eat and the marshmallow layer wouldn't be as thick, making it more of an evenly distributed bite of flavors. My 2 biggest pet peeves were when our server boxed my food, she boxed the scraps no one would ever box (like eww) and the tables just sat there dirty. One table in front of us left around 8pm (close it 9) and it sat with crumbs on it and a glass and then other table left at 8:30ish and it was still covered in dishes as we got closer to leaving. A restaurant should take pride in their appearance no matter how close to close and get tables cleared, plus I'm sure dishwashers would love to have them brought back sooner so they don't have to stay too late. Overall it was good food but nothing to rave over and the serve was just lack luster. Maybe in the future we will give it another shot to try different entrees but for now it's nothing I would tell friends and family they need to try. read more

Ad of late, our food has taken a great deal of time to arrive and the quality was lacking every time. Today, hubby ordered his usual, pork chops. I've always had our reservations met in a timely manner and if we just walk in, there isn't usually much of a wait then either, even though it's very popular and almost always very busy. I want to say, every time I come to Cooper's Hawk I enjoy the ambiance, the food, the service, and the wines . I'm a regular to the Wine Club dinners and they are always a culinary delight. However I have one thorn in my side..my son interviewed for a position there and was interviewed by Carlos. He was led to believe he got the position, then was ghosted. No phone calls returned by Carlos. The look of hurt when he realized what Carlos had done was heartbreaking. Maybe next time be straight about it, Carlos. read more
