Paddy Melt

Solid sports bar located in the casino with a good selection of food and drink options to enjoy while you watch different sports on multiple screens. Jaslyn was great, very helpful and friendly and our food came out quickly.

Can't remember the flavor, but it was tasty!

Our group (family) came here for dinner, and we had a great meal. It was a rather quiet afternoon, about 3 pm, and we were seated between the fireplace wall and the bar. We were greeted by our server (John, I believe), who took drink orders and brought those, but then he took about 15 minutes before taking our meal order. We could see hi working tables between the bar and the casino floor, so we know he wasn't hiding, but it was not the promptest order taking. We ordered a lot, so I'll try to remember them all! We started with onion rings, calamari, and the combo platter (wings, calamari, mozzarella sticks, onion rings). For entrees, there were Cobb salads (Romaine, iceberg, spring mix, crumbled bleu cheese, cherry tomatoes, corn, bacon, eggs, pickled red onions, cucumber, green goddess dressing) but with bacon on the side and extra dressing on the side as well. We also ordered a kid's cheeseburger, and a Paddy Melt (Smashed beef burger, Guinness-braised onions with cheddar and American cheese, bacon, Burger-zing sauce on garlic, grilled sourdough). There were other dishes, but these are the ones with photos! The food came quickly and was nice and hot. Except the salads. The onion rings are always well fried, crisp and not oily. The combo platter is also a favorite, and the calamari went fast as well. The salads are fresh, colorful, with textures and tastes that really come together, and the Green Goddess is a perfect choice. The Paddy Melt was cooked perfectly, and nicely presented, and the kid's burger (1/2) was just the right size for a 10-year-old. All things considered, it was a great meal, and once we got the order in, the service was attentive and professional. Looking forward to a return visit here.

We haven't been to Grand Sierra Resort in quite some time, so it was nice to be back--especially for a birthday celebration. We were greeted by hostess Julie, who was warm and welcoming right from the start. I really appreciated that the staff acknowledged the birthday without us even having to mention it. Our server, Mary Jane, already knew, which was a great touch (likely from reservation notes which, honestly, was a refreshing change from a past experience at Peppermill). Mary Jane was excellent--attentive, consistent, and on top of everything. Even with how busy it was, she made us feel like we were her only table. Chloe, our food runner, kept things running smoothly. The atmosphere was lively with trivia night and team competitions going on, which added a fun vibe. They also have outdoor seating available. Food was good overall. The birthday boy loved the Crabfest! Tried their sampler platter and Lobster fries both were just okay. Our shrimp came out overcooked at first, but they quickly corrected it and the second round was great. The seafood pasta, fish & chips, shrimp, and poke tacos were all decent, but nothing particularly memorable. Service is definitely 5 stars. Food is closer to 4 stars--but still a solid experience overall.

We got takeout since wait for a table was an hour, and with a LO it was late in the night for that. Wait time was 30min and we got pizza, salad, gumbo, and wings. We've always liked the wings and pizza. First time to have the gumbo and it was packed with huge shrimp. I'm not sure of the accuracy in gumbo flavor but it was tasty and held well as takeout, shrimp was not overcooked which there were probably 6 shrimp. We'd be back to dine in again for sure.

I would say a solid three stars...leaning to the half...nothing wrong with this place, just expected better. The inside and ambience was amazing for a sports bar and our server was excellent. We opted to get the GSR lager, for the price point and the low alcohol content for lunch. This was deliciously cold and satisfying. Hub ordered the boneless buffalo wings and wanted some fries, but the only fries were the chickie fries and they were not only pricey, but also too big for a one person portions, so I helped him eat those. The fries tasted good, but the cheese was super meh...I did not get much out of that at all. I also ordered a salad and the salad was quite good with the dressing on the side. A bit expensive, but it is in a casino...I would definitely return for the beer...in fact we got two big ones to go later that evening we liked the beer so much.

Great atmosphere in a great location perfectly located inside the GSR casino. Huge televisions everywhere with plenty tables to sit at! But definitely not the most kid friendly as they had no kids menu. Luckily my kids split a hamburger and they both absolutely loved this burger! Plus that cheese dip with the fries are everything!!! I hated the buffalo nachos! When you hear buffalo chicken nachos you think a buffalo chicken... not basic chicken with a small amount of buffalo sauce on the chips. Gross. The crab fries were delicious but got a little soggy. And the price of everything was definitely on the high side. $6 for a fountain soda??? Really? For me it I drink half a cup? Way steep. But it decent but would likely not go back. Service was however good and he was very attentive.

Chickie & Pete's Located in the World Famous GSR! We stopped in for a bite sat at the bar played Keno(No Luck) anyways our Bartender server Miguel(Michael)provided us the best service we have had in long time. Just for the great service we will be definitely will be back! Great music, TV's for sports!

A beautiful open sports bar with great food, service, and a solid menu. I started with a blueberry virgin mojito that was good but was definitely missing something besides the alcohol and was slightly disappointing for $9 with no refills. I got a side salad which was quite good, very fresh with great ranch dressing and croutons. Lastly, for the main entree, I got the BBQ Burger and fries. The burger was great, the patty was juicy and perfectly cooked, the bun was delicious, but it could have had some more BBQ sauce. Honestly, the fries were slightly better and probably the star of the night. They were very well seasoned, crispy, and practically perfect. The venue is very nice and open with a lot of space between guests, and very nice large screens to watch the games while being conveniently located in the GSR. The tradeoff is it is a little expensive for what it is, you're paying a premium while on GSR property, but it does qualify for the locals 25% discount so be sure to have your GSR rewards card and your driver's license to get the discount before paying!

RB Revision IPA Sparks, NV 6.5% ABV - 50 IBU , The Classic Philly Cheesesteak

Came in on a late night Friday went with the classic Philly cheesesteak. My goodness, BOMB ! Flavor is there the way the grilled the meat with the veggies I love it the bread was not dry super crisp and let's not forget the cheese in there a great mix with everything. I asked for salsa I had options between chalula and Tabasco. I'm a chalula girl so I added that to my cheesesteak and some lime it was sooo delicious. It was a big serving too wanna say 12in ?. I came in for an ipa and asked the bartender Saul what did he recommend, went with the RB ipa was just what I wanted the perfect taste. Not too bitter but just right. We came in after 11PM open bar seating not busy , chill and was able to enjoy my drink and meal they have a lot of selection for alcohol & tap beer ! Definitely would come back to try another item on the menu.

3-4 stars, gorgeous venue and good service, but very expensive even more so than expected, like I'm in Vegas. 11$ for small dish of sweet potato fries eeek. 12$ for bowl of clam chowder which wasn't as bad. Both were yummy. I read another review that said the clam chowder was one of the worst, I would have to disagree. Both me and hubs enjoyed it. I had some type of a blueberry lavender mint mocktail which had potential but was sooooo tart not in the good way, hubs had a basic ceasar salad add chicken that he said was 3 stars. Great sports watching can be had here. They DO carry a gluten free bun and I would come back here to try it. Players card gets you 20 percent off which makes it a bit better pricing but that just goes back into the tip! Clean, friendly, decently fast service. Good option for casino eats.

Dina T.

First impression... when do you open a sports bar AFTER the games start? Ridiculous! We will see how it goes later Update: once we DID get a seat, the staff has been great getting our teams in view. The place is clean and I'm sure will be terrific.

Surprisingly not busy for a Saturday. Popped in for lunch. Nice venue to watch college football. Servers were pleasant Fish tacos were tasty and price reasonable with 20% locals discount.

Barbecue Bacon Burger

Today my husband and I returned to Chickie and Pete's because of our positive experience last year. First of all, this restaurant was immaculate and there was no wait to be seated. We ordered the chicken club sandwich and the barbecue burger, both with fries. The food was filling but just ok. I had hoped to have the teriyaki burger from last year but learned it was no longer on the menu. The prices are high, too. 5.00 for a soda or iced tea. Fries are not included with your meal. Lunch for the two of us was 60.00!! Where Chickie and Pete's really shines is in the area of service. Our waitress, Nicci, was efficient and friendly. One of the best waitresses we have encountered! I hope she gets a raise or acknowledgement for her skills and great personality. She is amazing.

I ordered the steak fritters, which was a wonderfully seasoned New York I believe with chimichurri that was cooked to perfection and melted in your mouth along with the crispy fresh home fries - this dish was a win. I would order again and again, and my husband said he would go back for after tasting. My husband got the jambalaya, which was a combination of chicken, shrimp and andouille sausage that was flavored perfectly and that he really enjoyed particularly the sausage that was used in the dish. We also saw some wonderful looking pizzas coming out of the oven and burgers that we would try on a next visit - but the steak will be hard to turn down. They were busy this night with a lot of people coming in and we had to wait a bit for a table, but the service did the best to keep up that they could. The bar area was rustic and had a great menu and vibe - I would've even enjoyed eating at the bar, but we opted for a table. We wanted to save room for their homemade ice cream, but we will have to try this next time.

Joseph was our server, and he did an excellent job helping me navigate my gluten allergy. He was knowledgeable about the menu and made the ordering process easy. I had the Reno Burger and loved the melted cheese served alongside it--it was such a fun touch. We also ordered the meatballs, and they were outstanding. They were packed with flavor, and the portion size was just right. Between the great service, delicious food, and comfortable atmosphere, we'll definitely be back.

The inside has that old school diner and saloon vibe people always mention, a little dark, a little busy, with memorabilia on the walls and a bar that looks like it's been there forever. It's not trying to be trendy, more of a local hangout with a lot of character and a steady crowd of regulars. If you go on a weekend, expect a wait because it gets packed. Service was excellent. Even with the place being full, everything ran smoothly and the staff stayed friendly and attentive the whole time. It felt like they actually care about making sure you're taken care of, not rushing you in and out. Definitely a strong point of the experience. For food, we had the chicken fried steak and the French toast. The chicken fried steak was exactly what you want from a place like this, large portion, hearty, and satisfying. The French toast was a nice balance to that, a little lighter but still rich and comforting. Overall, it's solid, no nonsense comfort food that hits the spot. This is the kind of place you go when you want a real meal and a laid back atmosphere. Would highly recommend. Great value and service!

Just good basic French Toast. Nothing bougie, just good French Toast. The eggs were eggs but the sausage was quite good. Rich with flavor. The coffee, while unusually expensive for a dinner, was just meh. Nothing special nor nothing terrible. So the full, review, fair amd honest. Here ya go. When I finally found parking, it was a bit down the street. Once I walked a block, I notice dthat I could have indeed used my "VIP" parking placard I saw 1 spot as designated as such. I did not notice anymore than 1, and it's across the way. Upon entry, the cool air hit from the summer heat, and I thought I sure would love a milkshake, no dice they do not have them...burgers..but no shakes..leaving a whole lotta money on the table. Not even blended mocktails in the summer..I know, I asked. So, I ordered my burger and side of garlic fries. The taste was awesome, reminded me of in and out, but a little better. The fries were definitely better. Epicurean to be sure. The bacon on the burger was crisp to perfection, just the way you like it. The only real issues I have are the environment, when I grabbed a table I look for the clean one, and I had the entire place to myself for lunch, only 2 ppl came in after me, I selected the cleanest table, and still it was sticky. Not sure with what..it just had a film on it. So, I pulled out my sanitizer spray, and cleaned the table and my hands, pulled a napkin from the table dispenser..and realized..oh, this is a single ply small public bathroom style of paper towel your see in those long rolls..except it's 4x4" to clean any mess of sauce and grease, I promise it will not gwt the job done. Best option, avoid making a mess. Otherwise, the ambience is cool, reggaeton, with sports on the screens on the wall, and on the other walls great giant size views of Incline and Tahoe I didn'twant to violate someones lunch so I angled the shot to avoid others, and afford their privacy. Thanks for a good burger Inclined. One final note from this Veteran..they do offer a Military and First Responders Discount ( you gotta ask for it, of course- 20%)
