Raw oysters NO, seafood boil YES
    Jazz U.

Everything in the seafood boil was delicious. We got the octopus mussels and shrimp with the head on the seasoning was perfect not too small salty I got the medium heat and it was perfect. We did get a dozen oysters and only ended up eating six. The flavor wasn't that good for the raw oysters it was a little watered down. It almost tasted like frozen. It was weird so we didn't eat the other six everything else was delicious. The restaurant was nice and clean. Our server was super helpful and I like that you can order half pounds. I would definitely come back.

We went today and had the lobster bisque and bread bow clam chowder. The clam chowder was one of the best I've ever had (absolutely unexpected, Ive had clam chowders all over the bay). We also got the fish and chips and clams and they were delicious. Honestly I didn't expect much considering the rating but our meal was really really good. Service was very friendly, Davina was our server.

A Side of (sweet potato) Fries

Our group of friends met up at Mr. Crab Seafood Boils; outside of 2 people in our party, it was our first visit to this restaurant. We arrived just as the restaurant was opening for lunch service; so, when we walked in, there was about three other groups in restaurant but not as large as our party. We perused the menu diligently when the server came to take our drink orders and it was some time before she returned to take our entree orders: a couple of crab and shrimp boils for half of the table, a fried lobster w/ sweet potato fries combo, an order of mac and cheese, a side order of regular french fries, an order of fried calamari, a side order of sweet potato fries, a crab salad sandwich, lobster sandwich and a bowl of chowder plus three orders of a dozen oysters to start. The oysters, bowl of chowder, and side order of fries were delivered to table first, followed by the sandwiches and fried calamari, and mac-and-cheese. The other side of the table received their crab and shrimp boil, and the fried lobster platter arrived last and with some considerable amount of wait time. The raw oysters were very plump and meaty; it didn't have a hint of fishiness but was also missing that little bit briney-ocean flavor. Adding the horseradish, squeeze of lemon and cocktail sauce greatly improved the flavor though. Our entire party seemed to enjoy each of their individual entrees; I thought my calamari platter was pretty tasty and the portion size plentiful that I almost regretted ordering the side of sweet potato- it was just too much food to finish. Everyone had a great time, good conversation and we appreciated having a corner of the room to ourselves. Overall, it was good initial experience and I look forward to returning.

Absolutely delicious! I love this place! The food is fantastic and has a great value. The restaurant is clean and has southern beach vibes. To drink I had the house strawberry margarita without salt. It was refreshing and well balanced. As appetizers, I had sweet potato fries and clam chowder. The fries were seasoned well and cooked crispy on the outside yet soft on the inside. The dipping sauce was a nice addition to the fries. The soup was ok. It had a good bit of clams but was very one note in flavor. For my main I did a 2 lb bag of crawfish with a boiled egg. My seasoning was medium Mr Diablo and garlic butter. All of my crawfish were cooked beautifully and the seasoning mix was on point. The egg was the perfect addition. Next time I think I might try noodles too. I was a bit disappointed in the service today. For almost our entire visit we were the only table in the restaurant (one other table came in near the end) yet we struggled to get our waitress to refill our drinks or give our table attention. At one point I ordered another drink and after 10 minutes we had to go ask her if I could get my drink and she responded with "oh you want it now". She spent her time laughing and chatting with the cook at the kitchen window. Despite the lack of service, the food will keep me coming back and will keep me loving this place.

The waiter was amazing after explaining that all you can eat for $80 didn't seem worth it. So we ended up in ordering a $40 combo per person. Actually is a good value and you got a lot for your money. And I was just as much satisfied, and I would have been with all you can eat. I got the snow crab which was very thick and meaty, the clams were spot on, the muscles was a little chewy, and giant shrimps. The seasoning, the sauce and the juice and the boil bag was awesome. Corn, potatoes and the links were good. I will definitely come here again.

Why am I being charged 3 extra dollars to use my debit card

From the parking lot, it has the look and feel of a small seafood shack you'd expect to find along the Oregon coast. Step inside, though, and you're greeted by a bright, sparkling-clean dining room that's welcoming, comfortable, and thoughtfully laid out with plenty of seating. This is a true family-run business. Jon, the owner, served my meal while his daughter handled the front counter. Jon shared stories about the family's continued involvement in their fishing operation, where each fish is still individually caught by hand rather than with large commercial nets. Whether you're interested in that or not, you can tell he brings a captain's mindset to the restaurant--everything is shipshape, spotless, and exactly where it should be. I was initially on the fence about trying Smee's for fish and chips. Then I discovered their main competitor was only about a dollar less per plate. At that point, it became an easy decision. Why settle for a cook-alike when you can get fresh-caught cod from a place that specializes in seafood? I ordered the #2 fish and chips. It came with two generous pieces of cod coated in a light, crispy batter with the perfect crunch. The fries were hot and delicious, and the coleslaw was exactly how I like it--not swimming in dressing, just fresh, crisp, and well balanced. The homemade tartar sauce was the perfect finishing touch and complemented the fish beautifully. For my money, Smee's is an easy choice. I'll definitely be back. There's no reason to gamble on a chain or imitation seafood restaurant when, for about the same price, you can enjoy fresh fish, great service, and a family-owned business that clearly takes pride in what they do. Smee's has earned a permanent spot as my go-to place for fish and chips.

The riverside setting made for a relaxing atmosphere and was a great place to spend a summer afternoon. We started with the Crab & Salmon Cakes, and they were outstanding. The presentation was beautiful, and each cake had a perfectly crisp exterior while remaining delicate inside. You could clearly taste both the crab and salmon, and the slightly spicy aioli complemented them perfectly without overpowering the seafood. For cocktails, I ordered the Tequila Mockingbird, and it was excellent. The mezcal's smoky flavor came through clearly, almost reminding me of a good Scotch, yet it had just enough sweetness to keep it balanced. If you enjoy spirit-forward cocktails that aren't overly sweet, I'd highly recommend it. My wife ordered the Razz Jazz and later the Rosé All Day. She loved the Razz Jazz, describing it as refreshing, lightly sweet, and lemony, with enough alcohol flavor to remind you it's a cocktail without being overpowering. The Rosé All Day was another refreshing choice and perfect for a warm afternoon on the patio. For lunch, we ordered the French Dip and the Tri-Tip Sandwich. The French Dip was tender, flavorful, and paired perfectly with the rich au jus. The Tri-Tip Sandwich was loaded with smoky, well-seasoned beef on fresh bread. It was a bit richer than I personally prefer, but the quality of the meat was undeniable. The fries were a standout in their own right, perfectly crispy on the outside, fluffy inside, and seasoned just right. Wild River Grille isn't the least expensive lunch in town, but the quality of the food, expertly crafted cocktails, attentive service, and beautiful riverside patio made it feel well worth the price.
