So originally I loved my experience here .. but today I came for a deep cleaning and fillings and I am a little scared of the needles however that's very normal. So mid deep cleaning everyone in the office was acting weird and made me uncomfortable. After the deep cleaning I'm told they want me to go to the front and wait for instructions. Then they don't even have a doctor come out but the front desk. To give me papers to another dentist because I'm an anxious patient. Not to mention this office is all women!! As a person with feelings I am extremely embarrassed and hurt ! Do not go here if you are not good with needles because they will embarrass you. The only good experience was the hygienist. It's really unfortunate I have to leave this review but if I have to hear "I'm sorry Idk what to tell you" one more time I'm going to scream. I was recommended to Copper Canyon by my previous doctor because they accept MediCal coverage. He told me to get some cavities filled before they turn into root canals. Long story short, after taking what seemed to be 67 x ray photos of my teeth, they told me I only had 2 cavities. One of which they recommended a crown for which my insurance does not cover. The other they recommended we fill when I come back for a deep cleaning which will take 4-5 weeks for approval from MediCal. Also, they suggested I get 2 bridges which my insurance conveniently doesn't cover either. I explained to them my confusion and that I wanted to speak w the doctor and the only thing they could tell me was "I'm sorry Idk what to tell you." Pray you don't have the same experience as me. Front desk is a mess. I went to dentist and had to return to get more work done. Total of 4 visits, but each visit my bill went up. They quote me a price then when it's time to pay, the bill has increased. Blame it on insurance, blame it on balance total was wrong (bad math). What I would recommend you do, is what I did. This office is a waste of time. It's been 2 years since my last cleaning. 2 years ago I had X-rays and was told I had an old filling that needed to be replaced. I was newly pregnant so the dr wanted me to get cleared by the my obgyn. Long story short I now have 3 kids and it's very difficult to schedule anything for myself. when i finally called to make this appointment for a cleaning and to replace my filling that has been bothering me for years I was very specific about making sure they could do it all at the time of this scheduled visit. I was assured yes they would. Today I go into my appointment. They spend about 5-10 minutes taking X-rays and explaining that to get my cavity replaced and cleaning I would need 1-1 1/5 hours and asked me to come back in 1.5 hours or they could reschedule me another day. What in the world. I am extremely upset that they didn't honor being able to do these things at my scheduled appointment time. Feels like they are after insurance money or more office visit fees etc. I do not have the luxury of just waiting around for hours. I will never be back and I do not recommend this place to anyone who values their time. read more

I visited Copper canyon smiles yesterday 8-18 and had a great experience. I've been having slight discomfort on my molar region and knew it was time for a check up. Found copper canyon on a website of listed providers and made an appointment. Check in was very easy, the lobby was clean and comfortable. Receptionist was nice as well as the X-ray tech. Dr Georgi came in and she was wonderful. She examined my teeth and informed me that I am brushing too hard!! Lol I guess I scrubbed the enamel off and was getting some discomfort from that. Here's where Dr, impressed me most. She didn't recommend some expensive treatment plan or shame me for neglecting my oral health for a period of time. She simply prescribed a medicine to fix the enamel and scheduled a cleaning. A truly honest dentist. Thank you all for the wonderful visit. See you next month read more

My son recently had braces on and had to have 3 teeth extracted. My sons orthodontist accidentally marked the wrong tooth to be extracted. After a 2 Speciality Deep Root Canal Procedure, simultaneous (4,5) right under the Nasal Cavity. After asking for pain meds at 450p the next day (pain scale at 5). RANIA GEORGEI prescribed me 600mg Ibuprofen (which we Allll have in our cupboard) At 9p, pain scale is 7, at MN it's 8/9 and at 230a it's 9 White Hot Pain, Consumes everything. In Tears and Agony, up 12X pacing, No sleep Entire night. At 240a I dropped off a pleading letter to order me something, and just call it In. With no need to call me. The letter was taped on their window, and removed before 8a. Absolutely nothing was done. ***We all have the Right to have Pain Treatment Steps taken***. Not Only did RANAI GEORGEI Not prescribe me anything (other than a common over the counter IBUP) She read the letter I wrote and chose to Ignore my Pain. As if, my Pain was not Real or Important enough to do anything about. Of course I'm fine now, my sobriety date is 5/2006. I'm not a drug seeker. ZERO SYMPATHY read more

We have been coming here since 2017 and every time is such a great experience. I had a crown pop off on Saturday, called Monday morning and they were able to get me right in. They cleaned the crown and tooth up and were able to save my crown and fix it right then and there. Now I can enjoy Thanksgiving 3 days! I cannot say thank you enough to the entire staff there. Very unprofessional Dentist, went for cleaning and 3 cavities. My first visit they did X-rays and said I could have treatment that day if I payed for the numbing ??? which I have full coverage and refused to pay so the dentist said I'd have to reschedule, came back in 2 weeks for cleaning and to have cavities filled. Cleaning was some kind of water spray very little scaling and no real oral exam. Then I declined the fluoride treatment which is my choice to have this treatment or not and the doctor became angry and had a tantrum. Told me I could not come back to her office for any further care. Staff was very strange as well, said they would email my X-rays to the next dentist, very rude and unfriendly. I'm low income with Medicare and I think this was why I was treated so poorly and abused by this dentist and staff. read more

I got a crown done with them in 2018. The crown was supposed to be good for 5 years. It fell out in 2020. When I reached out to them they refused to fix it on warranty, and the rude front office staff would not let me speak with the doctor. I consulted with a different dentist and was informed that the failure occurred due to a bad preparation technique. They are lucky Im not suing them for the cost of the new crown. Scheduled an appointment to have my teeth cleaned on 11/28/22. I scheduled the appointment in May. When I got there they didn't show I had an appointment, but could get me in on 12/02/22. I show up, they have me fill out the paper work, then took x-rays. When the Dr came in she looked at the x-rays, looked a my mouth which took about 2 minutes. Then they gave me 3 recommendation, the cheapest being $370, then $1408, and $6600. When I ask about getting the cleaning they said no and would only do the above. Just a waste of my time. I have been going to Copper Canyon Smiles for at least 10 years. For a long time, I would say it was just fine and routine, no issues. I really liked the location and service. This year has been a very rough year financially and I needed to push my periodontal cleaning out longer than usual. When I arrived for my cleaning, I was due for x-rays which is normal for the year. Afterwards they said they would call me to schedule the cleaning...?? I was, of course, confused and disappointed that they did not schedule enough time for me, and I spent my lunch hour with just x-rays. Naturally, I asked why they did not schedule me. In a hurry and with irritation, the dentist, Dr Rania Georgei, said I was not scheduled and that there was no time for me. I mentioned that that was what I was scheduled for. she then said loudly, "whoever scheduled you will be fired!" Can you imagine how uncomfortable the entire office was? It was an unbelievably attacking feeling. When I proceeded to the receptionist to get a time schedule, I did ask why they did not schedule me in for the cleaning for this day?? It was most inconvenient, and I wanted to be sure to clarify for any future appointments. Dr Georgei then came to the desk where I was standing with an aggressive and rude tone and said, "don't schedule like that again" to the receptionist. I was given the option to receive a call back to schedule as soon as possible since there was obviously a mistake made. This was on Thursday and by Monday I did not receive a call back so I called them. They let me know that they were booked until the end of September, a month later! Crazy and so unprofessional to treat a patient this way - what is wrong with businesses that they can now speak so disrespectfully and gaslight you?!! So, I made the appointment with hesitation. To add insult to injury, a week later I received a letter from my insurance stating "We've received notice from your assigned general dentist that you would be better served under the care of another dentist." All I can think of is that they must have been so embarrassed to do that and what a favor to me to part ways! The thousands of dollars and business (to include other family members) I gave them must not have been enough compared to all the patients they are cramming in. Luckily, before receiving the letter, I had already contacted another dentists in the area. I'm please to say that CLINTON KIETH DENTAL GROUP has been accommodating, kind and respectful in accepting me and scheduling me in quickly and with honesty on their timing. What a relief! Good business with kind and hard-working individuals that know the value of your time and business. I can't say enough about what better service and expertise I have experienced with the 2 visits in the same week. To add, the service were cheaper!!! More bells and whistles and almost $150 cheaper for the same cleaning. I leave you all with this... don't settle, tolerate or get too comfortable. This kind of behavior should NEVER EVER be tolerated. There are plenty of wonderful, kind and respectful businesses out there. This was disgusting, but a blessing to be away from such rude and entitled people. Keep smiling and standing up to the good fight of holding people accountable and choosing where to give your time and money. Not only did I not have a good first experience and wasnt planning on being back but now I'm also being sent a bill because someone didn't do their job. I asked not once but twice before getting the services whether everything everything they were doing was covered thought the insurance and they assured me it was. Now a month later they send me a bill and when I get on the phone with them all they could say is sorry we told you otherwise but it wasn't covered. Not only that but insurance is telling me they can't legally charge me the full amount and the manager Lory is assuring me they can. I received a follow up in which staff member Pamela completely insulted me with false accusations!! It is completely apparent that these people do not care about their patients!! My son had a damaging experience because of the vile behavior of both staff & doctor!!! It is NOT ok to talk down on a child patients parent while parent is not present!! It is also not ok to make false accusations about parent. These people repeatedly called me to get me to pay extra for a procedure that I was not even asking for my son to have and when I declined the dentist decided to talk down on me in front of my son saying I don't know how to take care of my child very rudely. Of course when confronted there was complete denial!!! Then when I brought all this to their attention & left my review I was harassed by Pamela with her follow up. These people are the WORST!!!! I am in total shock over the bad reviews I've read, and I'm usually one to choose a location based on their yelp reviews! I'd like to explain why I gave this dental office a 5-star rating. Starting from my initial experience with calling in for an appointment, I was already more than pleased. Their customer service is terrific, and they worked with my crazy schedule to get me into the office ASAP! They spoke clearly and confirmed everything with me. When I went in for said appointment, the wait was not long at all. I was seen within 10 minutes of being there (which worked out for me as I'm typically booked on weekdays and had somewhere to be right after my appointment). Dr. Rania Georgei was very friendly; she had sympathy for my fear of needles and tried her best to stay light-handed as she gave me the numbing shots. She pulled out a very sensitive, decaying tooth with such ease and patience that I didn't feel a thing...even when she stitched me up at the end! All equipment used was straight from the packaging. The entire office was clean and sanitized. I felt at ease in the patient's chair and I truly enjoyed my experience at this dental office (as much as one can enjoy getting a rotten tooth pulled). All was great, from front desk staff, to nurses and the doctor. I will most definitely be returning to this office and recommending it to my friends as well. I hope you consider my rating and the other positive ones I've seen, and ignore the angry comments. Check it out for yourselves! This place recommend a crown for a chipped tooth and a deep cleaning over a standard basic cleaning. I have since gone to another dentist who performed a regular cleaning and a basic filling. My teeth are now 100% and I did not need a crown. Removal of an entire tooth because of a small chip? My experience with Copper Canyon Smiles was awful. The staff was argumentative and had an attitude with me when I questioned them about Dr. Georgie's recommendations. This facility only cares about themselves and doing as much work as possible. They only want your money. One nurse told me that a regular cleaning would not benefit me. Upon receiving a second opinion, a basic cleaning was all that I needed. I had a great experience here. Dr Georgie did a really good job on my tooth extraction. I experienced no pain whatsoever post op. And she even returned my call afterwards for a medication question. The gum has healed nicely and completely! Would recommend to anyone ! Great price too . It was cheaper for me than other dentists I went to that wanted 900$ and it cost half . Dental work is never cheap. As for the negative reviews to each is own. I definitely didn't have a bad experience here. This dentist is a fraud and does inferior work! Copper Canyon Smiles rendered extensive dental services for me due to an driving accident. Since this dental office is out-of-network with my insurance company, they made me pay for all the services rendered out-of-pocket. I paid by credit card and in cash. The billing agent promised me a refund once the insurance company paid the claims. They received from me over $12,000 and over $12,000 from my insurance company. They are now refusing to issue me a refund for the money I paid out-of-pocket. In total they have received over $24,000. This dental office has been reported to the Dental Licensing Board and Better Business Bureau. If I do not receive a refund, we will proceed with legal action. Moreover, the dental work that was done by Dr. Rania Georgei is inferior. I am experiencing a lot of pain and see many gaps in the veneers she replaced. I now have to pay more money to have another dentist fix the work she did wrong. Long wait time: 45+ min. There is only one dentist and she goes from patient to patient doing partial work on each person while she has you waiting in the chair with a clamp in your mouth. read more
