Sausage and rice soup. Not a basic item on menu, but soup of the day.

My dad offered to take me out to a restaurant as a gift for my birthday and since I never been to the Copper Chimney Grill & Bar and always wanted to go, it chose it. For starters, the restaurant can be easy to miss because it is located out of sight behind a gas station. The only reason I knew about its location was its moniker also being on the gas station sign. Copper Chimney Grill & Bar looks just like many other stereotypical bars any patron may go to. Complete with pool tables and dart boards, high bar stools, and beer on tap. I was there only for the food so that is what I ordered. My dad and I got the Tavern Sampler, habenero mango chicken wings, blackened mahi sandwich with sausage and rice soup. I have to admit the food was delicious but unfortunately, what was a strike is how long it took for service. To be fair, it was midday and the restaurant just opened. It also seemed there was only one waitress and there were actually a lot of people for a midday rush. Ergo, I will give some grace on that being it was my first time. Ultimately, the food was delicious and the service, though slow this time, was still friendly. Would definitely go back to give them another try to further round out my initial review.

Food isn't bad and they often have music or something going on. I usually get a burger and Mango Cart on tap is always good.

This restaurant is a neighborhood gem tucked away in Palm Bay. I had no idea this place existed. The food was solid. The burgers are AMAZING! The wings were ok. I wish they were marinated before being cooked. My friend ordered a salad which she said was ok. We also ordered the loaded fries and ahi tuna for appetizers....both of which I thought were pretty tasty for a bar and grill. They also have live music playing here nightly. However to give you fair warning, if you are looking for a place that has strict Covid requirements, this isn't it. I walked in wearing a mask and felt like everyone was looking at me like I was from another planet. No one wears a mask in this establishment, not even the staff. There's no gloves, sterilization, or social distancing. If this is your thing, then this is the place for you. If not, you'll definitely want to try another restaurant.

Buzz Catcher... I knew I was going to write a review after one bite!

This is a place that I've driven pass many times, and decided to stop and give it a try on a Thursday afternoon. Parking was ample, and at first appearance this restaurant gave me the impression of being a local watering hole, with a big bar right when you walk in. Sit where you like was the instructions from the server and they were prompt with a menu. I ordered a Buzz Catcher (fish and chips) and my friend ordered a pepperoni pizza. While waiting I observed the ambience and clientele. There were a few pool tables, a little stage for a band, happy people, men and women enjoying their favorite spirits. The social scientists in me began to take a closer look at the people, very laid back, and then it hit me. Everyone was here having a good time, Hispanic, white, black, etc... all enjoying themselves. Some were shooting pool, others were shooting the sh**, civilians and veterans telling stories. Even the music on the jukebox was pretty good, you couldn't help just getting in a good mood. It didn't take long for our food to come out, and right away I knew that this place was different, I was expecting a big puffy battered piece of fish, but the haddock I received had more of a corn meal style batter, the kind you often found used to fry catfish in. It tasted really good, the whitefish had a good flake, and the batter has a slight sweet flavor. The fries were good as well, but because I was dealing with fried food, I had to eat it quickly. I ate most of it, leaving only some coleslaw. I asked my friend how his pizza was and he replied that it was ok. I did notice he ate it all, and he could sometimes be a picky eater, so good job! The best part of the experience was the wait staff, my server was amazing, she did an excellent job, and she was familiar with everything on the menu. The only drawback was that they were out of steak. They offer a military discount There's a pool league here There's a live band that plays here Friday Nights They have Friday fish specials, so I have to bring my dad here one Friday afternoon, he'd like it.

Copper Chimney Grill- Palm Bay- 4-Stars Glancing down at my random restaurant name generator I couldn't help but think back to a Ren and Stimpy episode titled "Happy, happy, joy, joy" ran sarcastically through my mind due to the fact that another Bar & Grill was staring up at me. Actually, it's a good thing this did happen and that there are a lot of these around to be reviewed. As, generally speaking, their menus are all practically the same, it really does come down to what we value most here at BBDO and that is execution. And so, with an excited, looking forward to it feeling and a tingling in my stomach, I headed towards Palm Bay to check out Copper Chimney Grill & Bar. Tucked into a tough location, Copper Chimney sits behind a gas station off of San Filippo and Wyoming. Upon entering I immediately noticed the place was empty. Chalking it up to being early for the lunch crowd, we were shown a table and handed menus with the perfunctory, "Your server will be right with you." Glancing around the place, I liked what I saw. It was open, with plenty of TVs around to catch "the game" and a large, inviting bar. It wasn't too long before a lovely lady by the moniker of Nikki approached and introduced herself as our server. I found Nikki to be nice, charming and professional in appearance, demeanor and execution of her duties (she brought extra napkins without having to be asked). As the iced tea was out of a fountain, I skipped my usual unsweetened tea (honestly, it's only good if it's freshly brewed) and asked Nikki for their Chimney Classic Bacon Cheeseburger with a side of Fries. I would be remiss here if I didn't mention the table I was at. It was so sticky that my arm literally stuck to it. It was so bad that even after Nikki cleaned it thoroughly, my arm still stuck. I don't know what it was, but it wasn't cool. Hoping the cleanliness of the table was not an indication of the kitchen, I dug into the meal soon brought by Nikki. The bun was grilled! I mean come on, how hard is that? Hint: Not at all. Outstanding!! I can't tell you how many places do not grill/toast the bun and it really does make all the difference between a great burger and a good burger. The bacon looked good and fresh and was the perfect crispiness while the burger was grilled to a perfect medium rare, just how the Big Boy likes 'em. The fries were obviously of the frozen variety, but were cooked properly and so were passable. The burger was a complete joy to eat. Comprising a large beef patty, freshly cut tomato and onion with some green leaf lettuce it was miles above the crap slung at places like CJ Cannons. The Big Boy says, "If you're in the area and hunkerin' for a good burger served with a smile then this is your place. #bigboydiningout #iamthebigboy

Excellent Smoked Wings and Great Happy Hour Spot…read more Stopped by Broken Barrel Tavern at Palm Bay Road and Babcock and had a great experience. Service was prompt and friendly, and the happy hour specials made it an even better value. I ordered the wing basket with 8 smoked wings and onion petals. The onion petals were crispy, flavorful, and paired perfectly with the spicy remoulade sauce. For the wings, I tried both the Carolina Vinegar and the Hot Garlic flavors. The smoked wings themselves were outstanding, and the Hot Garlic sauce was especially memorable because it featured real garlic, which added incredible flavor. These are definitely wings I will come back for and highly recommend to anyone visiting. My partner ordered the BBQ pulled pork quesadillas with seasoned fries. The fries were more like freshly cut chips, nicely seasoned and delicious, and the quesadillas were excellent as well. Overall, Broken Barrel Tavern delivered great food, quick service, and a relaxed atmosphere. If you're in the Melbourne area and looking for outstanding smoked wings, this place is absolutely worth a visit. We'll definitely be back.

She loved everything that she ordered which I was happy for. I however, ordered something that I haven't tried, which was smoked barbecue wings, which I will not try again then I wouldn't have decided to barbecue egg roll which I will never do again. The only thing that I like was the blooming onionPatel. I let the waiter know I will never eat it again. Then he asked if we wanted to eat some bread pudding and I was very reluctant at first but then when it came and I took my first bite and it was absolutely delicious. Robert C was a very good server. He made sure to ask is everything ok and that's when I let him know what I didn't like. He also was accommodating to my needs and if I wanted something different and I told him no. As you would expect for a sports bar it was a little noisy, but at least my wife and I were able to have a conversation. When we come back to eat, I will definitely order what my wife ate. No more smoked wings or barbecue egg roll for this guy.

**INITIAL REVIEW**…read more The fact that in general, Beef 'O' Brady's is still operating at the level it is operating, at least here in Brevard County, is a surprising anomaly to me. With the exception of the Lake Washington Crossing location (northwest corner of North Wickham Rd. and Lake Washington Rd.), every single Beef 'O' Brady's I have eaten in has been far less than satisfactory. This time, it seems I found the worst Beef 'O' Brady's out of all the Beef 'O' Brady's locations I had, in general, the displeasure of eating at: the Bayside Lakes Shopping Center. In general: slow service and trash food for a price that is definitely not worth paying. Though an address and the general location is provided, this Beef 'O' Brady's is located on the furthest left side (western-ish) part of the shopping center. If it helps, it is right next to Lin's Garden, a New York Style Chinese Food takeout restaurant. Outdoor seating is kind of a joke especially with the broken booths they use. However, indoors is typical and lacking. Typical as in it has the same aesthetic of every other Beef 'O' Brady's location anyone has ever been to, but also lacking as many of the indoor seating definitely needs an update, especially the booths. Staff is usually friendly, but slow. Should be understandable during rush times with a full-house, but the same can be said during down times and I am the only one in the restaurant. I am unsure if the training is lacking or if the staff is just used to a certain criteria of people that usually go to Beef 'O' Brady's, but I definitely would not recommend if you are expecting a fair waiting time from seating, ordering, to receiving food. Speaking of food, the most of what I've tasted was yucky. I ordered both in-house sitting at the table and had delivery as I was "wondering" if they improved. Such a travesty! Starting with nachos, they can be soggy as the chips are extra thin for some strange reason. Onion rings, or any fried foods, are fried in oil that definitely needs to be changed out given its bland taste. I had two different dishes with fish, the Big Catch Salad in which I added six grilled shrimp to it, and the Fish and Chips. Both dishes had soggy fish, meaning they were on the cusp of going spoiled or were in the early stages of being spoiled. The fried fish for the Fish and Chips being soggy, too, showed the cooks behind the line don't take the time to prep. You are supposed to dab off extra moisture from the fish somewhat dry before breading and frying. I can't even say anything about the restroom because I was so disappointed with this place, I usually leave, paying for the unfinished food and leaving an okay tip. Ultimately with both dine-in and take-out, I am giving this Beef 'O' Brady's a measly one star out of five review. If I could, I'd give them half a star, but I cannot. Stay away from this Beef 'O' Brady's by all means possible (for now). And if you want to eat at Beef 'O' Brady's and it isn't too much of an issue, go to the one at Lake Washington Crossing.

Inside they have a bar with about 20 stools, booths and tables and chairs both high and low. It's has a sports bar vibe. Service: when I came in, there wasn't anyone at the hostess desk. I waited just a minute and walked up to the bar to order food to go. The bartender Natalie immediately greeted me with a smile. She took my order and was very friendly. I liked her a lot. Food: the special of the day was the fish and chips, so I ordered two for us but substituted the fries for zucchini on mine. Fish - 3/5 it was good, but unfortunately two of my pieces either got mushy from sweat or undercooked. The 3 in the other meal were all cooked good. We both liked the fish. Coleslaw - 3/5 it was decent coleslaw but needed something. Zucchini - 3/5 I loved zucchini and especially grilled, but it was very wet and a little too much oil. Overall: I liked this place and the food was decent, but I heard the wings are the things to get here. They have a big menu, which I attached a bunch of photos of. I want to come back and try the wings for sure. On Wednesdays they have $.99 wings, so I will have to make a point to come back and try them.

**INITIAL REVIEW**…read more Buffalo Wild Wings (a.k.a. B-Dubs which I will shorthand Buffalo Wild Wings to for the remainder of this review) is currently a sports bar establishment... well... pertaining to those that are "corporate." B-Dubs has been in its current location for more than a decade. Through its time, I have been to B-Dubs simply for the food, but mostly to watch football games, MMA fights, and wrestling PPVs. Yes, there is a lot of history when it comes to my time spent at B-Dubs, but unfortunately with so much time spent, I can say that over the years, B-Dubs has progressively gotten worse. Every now and then, they have a favorable spike in their quality, but overall, it is like New Found Glory: All Downhill From Here! Though an address is provided, B-Dubs has been in the same place it has always been: the northeast quadrant of Palm Bay Rd. and Norfolk Pkwy. If it helps, it is a standalone building within the Hammock Landing plaza right next to El Pollo Tropical. On the outside, B-Dubs looks like almost all other B-Dubs looks like: a sports bar with both indoor and outdoor seating. Upon entering, you get the overstylization of a local sports bar with sports paraphenelia plastered on the walls. Depending on the locale, certain teams will be highlighted more so than others. For this B-Dubs, we hafe more Florida teams such as Gators, Seminoles, Dolphins, Buccaneers, and Jaguars. We even have Magic and Heat, too. In its heyday, the seating was a-okay, but you can definitely feel that some of those booths' cushions need a recharge. After more than hour, I can tell you my tailbone was starting to hurt me. As for the food, it is... okay... too. Maybe back in the day, my taste buds were not so mature and I didn't mind food that was too salty, too hot, too bland, too covered with too much flavor to hide the bland taste. But now, I can tell. Sometimes the cooks get it right, but overall, it is just forced peddled bar food. As a matter of fact, the last thing I ate from them were street tacos. Overall, they were okay, but it should not be too hard to mess up street tacos, right? Well... I did get messed up street tacos before, but fortunately for B-Dubs, they did not mess up. Not the quality like a real Mexican restaurant makes or even Taco Dive, but okay. The wings are still poorly cooked, as in overcooked and dry, something they probably hoped I would not notice with all the sauce they use. And as for the restrooms, still a travesty whenever I step into them. At least that every single time I went, our wait staff has always been kind. Maybe at times they are stretched thin and they can't be as attentive as they want to, but they are always kind. Ultimately, I purposely avoid eating at B-Dubs as of late. However, my friends during my Bible Study might want to go there simply because it is an easy-peasy place to eat and enjoy communion with others in the group. Outside of that, there are far better options for whatever it is B-Dubs has to offer. Miller's Ale House and Hooters does a better job with the sports bar theme, Frankie's and Wing Stop have better wings, and so on and so forth.

Service: packed decently, but they need to either wait until the sauce is cooler or get better containers for the Marina sauces, because both were melted to the point the lids were misshapen and not even on top anymore. Also, took longer than said, but they were probably busy since it started to rain. Food: we ordered the following... 1. Pepperoni pizza: 3.5/5 it's was ok... but on the bland side. It needs salt or spices or something. 2. Specialty pizza: 2/5 it was a meatball, mushroom and extra cheese pizza. It doesn't look to have much more cheese than the pepperoni with normal cheese and we paid extra for the cheese. But the worst part about this pizza that just sunk my heart when we opened the box... I still took a bite to make sure, and yes... they used canned mushrooms. Yuck!!!!! Who has a wood fired traditional Pizza and puts jarred mushrooms on top??? Why not fresh mushrooms?! Ruined the whole pizza. We had to spend 15 minutes picking them off. Just sad. The meatballs tasted pretty good though. 3. Toasted ravioli- 3/5 - tasted great but such a small serving 4. Eggplant chips: 4/5 - great big serving, but had a little bit of an overdone flavor. Overall: super disappointing... would not go back again.
