Last week, my boyfriend and I wanted to get some breakfast so we decided to try Copper Cove Restaurant. We got there around 10 am and breakfast is served until 11 am. Yazmin welcomed us at the door, told us to sit wherever we would like, and there were 2 other parties seated at tables. Really cute train themed decor (including a continuous model train close to the ceilings) throughout the place. I ordered a cup of coffee and Mi Rancho (chilaquiles with choice of red or green sauce, 2 eggs how you like them, refried pinto beans and Mexican rice) with red sauce (at Yazmin's recommendation) and sunny side up eggs. My boyfriend ordered a Coke and Pancake Combo with scrambled eggs and bacon extra crispy. And we split a side order of hashbrowns with country gravy on top. The coffee was hot, tasty, and the cup was filled when it was low. The chilaquiles with red sauce was so delicious!!! The flavor was pretty close to other chilaquiles I have had around the SF Bay Area. There was an ample amount of cilantro, cotija, and crema on top. Eggs were cooked as ordered, refried beans were satisfying, and the Mexican rice was better than most I have had over the years. I was very happy! Hashbrowns with country gravy hit the spot with the potatoes having some slight excess crispiness on the edges with the extra going home for leftovers (which reheated really well in the oven). My boyfriend very much enjoyed his pancakes and scrambled eggs. But he was not familiar with this particular thicker cut of bacon, which he was not a fan of, even though they did make it extra crispy as asked. I wouldn't mind having this chilaquiles with red sauce breakfast once a week if I could! It would be nice to try some of the lunch/ dinner offerings at some point. And Yazmin was so friendly, even with the locals that would stop on in throughout the morning, which always helps for a good experience. Copper Cove Restaurant is truly a gem for Copperopolis. read more

Have you ever wanted the opportunity to buy a $1,200 hand carved peacock table? Or a fancy bench? you can do that here. Unfortunately I did not take a picture of them but TRUST they have artisan furniture here for the low. This is a standard breakfast place. I ate the breakfast burrito. went here with my former roomate, and fellow yelp elite. we had a great time. we caught up, talked about our lives, and experienced euphoria and nostalgia all at once while watching the horse races on the tv here. no music in the place. a beautiful set of unique furniture for sale inside, that i regretfully forgot to take a picture of... the place is quaint. We originally saw the bar next door on our search. The photos looked good, but turns out they weren't serving food so they told us to check out this place. We were the last customers, but thank goodness they were open. We were starving. The waiter was kind and patient with us. He made sure to inform what infused wings were, no sauce, and that there's no way to get rid of the heat. "Bring it on!" We said. Then when the last avocado was too firm, they let us know and asked if we preferred something else or if we wanted the avocado. We agreed on mushrooms and bacon. Soooo good. French fries were HOT and crispy. Burger was a decent size and cooked well. The wings were crunchy on the outside and moist on the inside. I don't normally need/want ranch but it helped cool the heat. Love itttt. Lagunitas IPA to top it off in a frozen glass. Greeted as soon as I walked in. Setting is warm and cozy, and I love the train along the ceiling ledge. The restaurant has tables, booths, and counter seating. Lots to food to choose from; appetizers, burgers, grilled cheese, hot pastrami, BLT, tacos, enchiladas, desserts galore - crunchy ice cream ball, cheese cake, churros. Surprisingly great experience. I had no expectations but the "Mi Rancho", aka chilaquiles breakfast was over the top. I crave it daily. The ambiance is really cute with historical artifacts from Gold Country. There is a large model train in half the restaurant (not currently running but allegedly being repaired). The staff, which seem to be family, were really friendly. You might find the prices to be a little bit high but the serving sizes are far above average. So expect to take home another meal in a box from my experience. read more

Cannot recommend this restaurant! We went there in an ATTEMPT to have dinner, but service was terrible to begin with. We were taken to a table right away... that was good! We requested our waters and soda and they were brought out right away... good. HOWEVER!!!! We sat for about 25-30 minutes and a server never bothered to see if we were ready to order or even take our order. Yet employees walked by several times. Meanwhile we watched customers at the bar get attended to rather quickly. We got so annoyed that we just got up and walked out. The staff seems rather inexperienced. Have had breakfast here a couple of times, today being the most recent. Service was excellent and with a smile. Breakfast was delicious and reasonably priced. Ordered juice, it was served in a big tall glass which was a pleasant surprise. Breakfast came with 4 pieces of lean bacon cooked just right and two full slices of toast, eggs cooked perfectly. Street tacos are very good. My son likes the cheeseburger with fries and a chocolate shake.

Us and another couple went to dinner. First ordered chips and salsa for an appetizer, which we never received before our entrees arrived so cancelled the order! When food arrived, the T bone steak was to be medium rare and arrived looking like beef jerky, they cooked another one and it arrived basically straight from the fridge, so raw that it was cool in the middle. My first time visiting as they just opened. Just ordered a Tuna Melt sandwich to go, Exactly what the Doctor ordered. Sometimes it's the simple things that matter. I called my order in, & they had it ready to go in 10 minutes. Nice little set up inside. As with any new place, you get the sense they are still getting their routine down. Staff was nice and attentive as was the service. I look forward to coming back and seeing their progress. If I had one suggestion, it would be to please get your menu up online. A new restaurant here in Copperopolis. I had high hopes for a new place to go for breakfast locally. First time there I ordered eggs over easy. They were over RAW! I thought I'd give it another try. This time I ordered over medium and still the whites were raw/runny! Never going back. I don't see them lasting very long. Who can't cook EGGS?? read more

This is the second time I have eaten breakfast at this restaurant: great food and amiable staff always looking to refill your cup of coffee. Lots of good parking, you can watch your car from your table. I had the traditional bacon and eggs, a great meal. This restaurant is only 5 minutes off highway 4 in Copperopolis.
