Stopped by for dessert after dinner at tendon kohaku! I didn't believe it when people said their mango is ripe year round..... but call me a believer cuz golllllly, those bad boys were indeed ripe! Got an order of their pomelo and mango sago, which tasted just like a pomelo + mango sago boba drink. Sooo good. Was it the best mango dessert I've ever had? No. But was it better than the typical dessert I've had? Yeah! I will say.. my opinion might be a lil biased bc your boy loves mangos lolol
The mango drinks were incredibly refreshing and perfect for the hot weather. They had a fresh mango flavor without being overly sweet, which made them really enjoyable and easy to drink. Everything tasted light, fruity, and well balanced. Definitely a great spot to cool down with dessert and drinks on a warm day

We arrived at 4pm which was good because they are closed from 3:30-4pm for a short break. Ordered the jumbo mango sago for my partner and I and got a fair amount (depicted below). Order came fairly quickly and was very tasty! Seating is decent at the store and it overall is pretty cleanly. Would come again (it's a good thing for my blood sugar it's not near my residence)
I came on a sunday around 3pm and there was no line. My drink also came out in less than 5 minutes! The shop is not that big, but since it wasn't too busy, I didn't mind. It was also well decorated. I got the coconut mango sago and it was very nice and refreshing. It wasn't too sweet either.

Watermelon not that sweet prob cuz it's real fruit. Mango was suuuper sweet. Also lots of sago maybe like 1/3 of my drink. So I kinda had to chew my drink. Next time I'll ask for less sago. Service - quick and friendly. Ambiance - more of a togo kinda place. Only a few seats inside. But there's a shared public outdoor seating area. Perfect for summer nights.

The service is pretty quick though. Highly recommend the mango crystal jelly, it's delicious. I'm quite a regular here, love their desserts!

I had the pomelo mango with sago drink and a black sesame pudding to go. The drink was excellent and not too sweet. The black sesame dessert was rich. There are some other items that i would like to try next time.

This is probably the 3rd Hui Lau Shan I've been to in this state, but several times in this specific one before writing a review for this specific location. I got here with a friend on a Sunday night and used street parking nearby, which was rough to find. You won't find much seating inside the place either; there's several tables that seat bigger groups and a couple that seat a max of two people. The rest of the space is the kitchen where the desserts are prepared and, like its other location at Bel-Red, there's a ton of big boxes of fresh mangoes nearby and the scent of mangoes hits you pretty hard. For this visit, I shared the mango romance with my friend, then got a mango coconut with sago for myself. The mango coconut with sago was in quite a big cup, and I loved how sweet and refreshing it was! The mango romance is pretty delicious too; you have mango bits, mango ice cream, mango slush, chewy balls and even a mango mochi that's best shared in small bites though I ironically wasn't a fan of the coconut flakes on top of the mango mochi. You can't get these kinds of mango desserts anywhere else, so I highly recommend giving here and its other location a try if you love mangoes!
We came here after a meal. We are here for a mango dessert. You will notice they do not use powder or any form except fresh mangoes. You will see lots of boxes of champagne mangoes and this is the good one. It's in season. We ordered mango coconut jelly and mango, sago and tapioca drink. The coconut jelly was in a real coconut shell filled to the rim with real coconut , mangoes and rice balls. It was delicious! The mango drink was also delicious! Service was fast despite having a line. People are friendly and assured us fast, The place had lots of parking. The place was clean, nicely decorated and packed with people. Will definitely come back and enjoy more mango desserts.

One word. MANGO. I split a mango pomelo sago with a friend because we are both fiends for some ripe mango. This dessert did not disappoint! The mango was PERFECTLY ripe and the mango and coconut puddings were great compliments to the fruit. The sago had good texture and were super fun to eat. This place is fantastic when you want a refreshing sweet treat when it's hot out. I will be coming back for sure. read more

Unfortunately, at least the one I ordered was priced at a premium and tasted no better than the one at available at Asian grocery stores. Unfortunately, this visit was pretty disappointing. The fruit in our dessert was noticeably underripe and lacked the sweetness I was expecting, which is especially unfortunate for a dessert spot that centers so much of its menu around fresh fruit. I also found the portion size quite small for the price, making the overall value hard to justify. Customer service was fairly lacking as well and didn't leave much of an impression. There is a small indoor seating area, though finding a table wasn't an issue since it wasn't very busy when we visited. We may have simply ordered the wrong item, as they seem to be better known for some of their other desserts, but based on what we tried, we left feeling disappointed. read more

Came here for dessert after lunch, and it hit the spot! We got the mango crystal jelly dessert. It's a cold dessert with icy mango puree, mango chunks, clear jelly, mango coconut ice cream. Very delicious! Would love to come back. Happy eating! read more

Not sure why she canceled this order. Had to go to the store and reorder and wait because kid what to eat this. Not busy time, no one is waiting there. She used her hand to order, pull hair, handle fruit and pick fruit. Last time being there. read more

Parking in the garage was convenient, free for one hour, and the shop was easy to find. The variety of items on the menu is pretty large. When you walk in, they don't have a visual menu on the wall behind the counter. You have to open a paper menu to pick out what you want. It is also nice that you can order online for pick up as well. I love that they also offer durian flavored desserts! I got the mango mochi as well as the mango coconut sago drink. Both were delicious and I look forward to coming back! read more

This is a very small shop with limited seating but the garage has one hour free parking. Definitely not as good as I remembered; mango pudding lacked flavor and was a much more firm than I would like and there is barely any chunks of mangoes inside The mango pomelo sago has a lot of "fillers", there is some kind of sorbet and I think mango pudding or jello there. There is barely any mangoes inside We ordered the pudding and sago to dine in and placed another (separate) order for a friend. After 30 mins of slowly eating our order still wasn't ready so we finally asked them and it turns out she forgot about it the cashier is hardworking but she is the only one taking orders/ payments and making the desserts.... read more

So cute! I love the drinks a lot. The taste of mango is really present and not artificial at all. The cost is a bit high in my opinion for the drinks but perhaps that is the fact that they use real mangos and that was what they are known for and due to their popularity. It was pretty busy inside but we got our orders eventually. Not the fastest but we got it. We went during a time when it got pretty packed and seating was limited but we were lucky to get a table to enjoy our drinks for four people. The price isn't for me though and I would come to get it once in a while for something special but not very often or my top choice to get desserts. read more

I used to get the mango chewy ball bowl which is still really good, but now I get the mango & mango jelly with mango juice which is my favorite thing to get from there. I've been there numerous times and there have been instances where my drink was so sour because the mangoes that they used weren't ripe yet, but that's happened to me less than a handful of times. Their location is fairly small, seats about 10 people. I usually just get my items and go out to the park nearby. I think the customer service is also pretty shoddy, it depends on who is working. There are some staff there that are pretty unapproachable and unhelpful. But I still go back because their items are worth it for me. read more
Don't let the display facing the street fool you. I ordered four items and it cost me just under $50. Pretty ridiculously overpriced for flavored jello with bits of fresh fruit and a couple mochi pieces. The health rating on Yelp for this establishment is wrong. Had I known their health rating was just "Okay" I would have skipped this place. Service was not personable at all. The workers seemed more interested in cutting fruit than welcoming customers and making recommendations. Don't need to go back to this place. read more

I was very excited to check out this new location of HLS! Being a fan of the original location in Redmond, I was familiar with their menu but was intrigued by this downtown Bellevue shop. It's a smaller location but still has plenty of seating and they seem to offer everything but the hot food items. I got the red dragon fruit & kiwi cheesy milk top, pomelo mango with sago, and mango coconut crystal jelly drinks as well as a 6 pack of mango mochi. Everything was delicious, fresh, and satisfying. The staff member was also very friendly and got the drinks out quickly and they looked exactly like the pictures. Parking was available street-side as well as in the building, so dropping by was very convenient. I will certainly be popping in more often when I'm in the area. This is a great intimate place to catch up with friends, go on a date, or end the evening with a light dessert. read more

Hui Lau Shan is one of our favorite dessert places. We LOVEEEE LOVEE their mango mochi's covered in coconut. So fresh and mangos are super sweet when in season. We also have gotten their durian mochis as well, they are a bit more pricey, but good if you like durian! Mango pancake is also good, but A LOT of cream is inside, so we typically prefer the mango mochi instead. The employees here are usually pretty friendly, but its a good idea to check out the menu first to get an idea of what you would like to order so you can avoid backing up the line. It is also pretty small inside, not much seating, but you can always grab and go! In our most recent visit, we got the Mango Coconut with crystal jelly drink. Unfortunately, when we got there late on a Tuesday night, they were no longer offering Sago, but the crystal jelly was yummy and good replacement. Had to mix up the drink reallllly well in order to get all the different elements in each sip. Overall, I would get this drink again, but its was pretty large, ideal for sharing! Usually, we are able to find street parking right outside Hui Lau Shan, but I do believe they offer garage parking as well. They are also dog friendly and let us bring our pup inside while we enjoyed our dessert. The shop is small inside and the bathrooms are the food court next door, but over all the ambiance is good. Tables were pretty clean inside, but it did seem like they were short staffed a bit. Everything here is really fresh and authentic, we love Hui Lau Shan and will be back soon! read more

This place is a must for mango lovers! I like that they use consistently good quality (ripe) mangoes. There was no artificial flavor at all, you can really tell that they use real fruit in their desserts. This place is super cute and a good choice if you want a dessert! I got the Mango Chewy Ball dessert which came with fresh mango pieces, mochi balls, and mango sorbet. The mango flavors were so intense (in a good way!), you know that the shop uses real, ripe mangos instead of artificial flavoring or powders. Mochi balls were also quite good with a nice chew, but they do lean towards more of the softer side of the mochi world. I haven't tried any of their other desserts (they have a few more desserts that have strawberry, coconut and I believe a few others). I will definitely be back! Bonus: Their containers are so cute! Looking for something sweet but not too sweet? Had the opportunity to try the mango coconut with sago as part of the Yelp Elite invite. It was very tasty - felt like it had more 'nutritional value' than a bubble l/boba tea. With coconut milk/cream, mango and tiny sago (think very tiny boba). Love the textures and flavor that is light and flavorful. My only request next time is they mix it up for me. It looks pretty with the layering but the flavor is much better mixed. Had to take a few big gulp before I could shake it well. Also picked up the mango and strawberry pancake. It is more like a very thin crepe with light cream and a piece of fruit in the middle. I like it because it is not too sweet for a dessert and just enough. I like the strawberry more even though I am a fan of mango. Likely the 'freshness' of the fruit. It is not the mango season. I would try durian the next time now that I know how it was assembled on the inside. Looks interesting. read more

Everything mango! And other delicious Asian desserts! If you're a mango lover this is the place to go for dessert. Wide selection of different ways to enjoy mango or mango dessert. Service is fast and efficient and price is good, place is well seated if you want to enjoy your dessert and sit down. read more
