I have been trying to speak to a manager since before the holiday to no avail. I made reservations for spa treatments for three people and somehow the reservation was screwed up and we have been left hanging. The front desk person lacked the customer service skills that you would think a 'high end' salon would employ. Natalia has done my hair for years. So, just like that, one less client for her. Absolutely the worst hair experience of my life. First time and last time here. Tried to get someone with a lot of hair color experience who was in a rush and not flexible. Absolutely did not connect with her and she did me so dirty. Dusted my ends for 75. Put a dye in my hair that turned it red / 50 shades of brassy and hideous. Put in a permanent color when typically I've had semi / or a gloss. Left the dye in my hair too long so it looked soo bad. Washed with a clarifying shampoo to get the dark out of the roots but took the color off the ends. Awful!!!! She was supposed to be one the most experienced! Run from this salon. read more

I've been a member at Copperfalls for a few years, and they do a great job. I always leave feeling pampered. I used to got to Patrick - he was awesome but has unfortunately moved on. I've seen Amanda the last couple times, and she does a great job - nice medium\firm pressure, not too light. I most often go to Allison for facials, but have had other estheticians that also do a nice job aw well. I recommend! read more

I have never hated the way I looked more. I went in for a confidence boost and what I was left with was a bleach damaged, inconsistent, patchy, blonde mess of hair that doesn't even look like it belongs to me. I still paid 300$ AFTER the "apology" discount. I understand that hair can be difficult to predict and that she did all she could but a color correction service should not end with the client not even wanting to look in the mirror and not be able to do anything about it. Wow! I can't say enough about this place. I have been countless times over the years and never been disappointed. Kori is the best masseuse in the land, straight magical! Her hands are soft but strong, flexible but firm. I don't know how she does it! I am in constant pain from an athletic injury and the procedure to treat it, and I felt more normal after my massage than I have in months. Pain relieved and muscles looser. Moving is hard, new dentist, new doctor, new vet, new esthetician... I had seen recommendations for Copperfalls on the Facebook "Castle Rock Talk" page. I'm always reluctant to go to a spa that is attached to a specific product line because I just don't want the hard sell, but I thought, let's try this place and see how hard they sell me. It was time for my once-a-month facial so I called and made an appointment for the "Dual Exfoliation Facial". I get facials all the time so I felt I needed some extra extraction time. The receptionist greeted me and asked me to choose from a list of extra treatments. I thought, "this is great!" and choose the eye treatment. Allison, the esthetician, greeted me and seemed displeased with my choice of facial. She said the Dual Exfoliation Facial was a lot of manipulation and not very "pampering". She also said since I wanted a lip and brow wax, I wouldn't be able to get the full benefit because then my lip wouldn't receive the full exfoliation treatment. Not sure if this is true or not since I get a lot of facials and it's never been an issue, so Ok, I said, I'll switch to a different facial. During my facial, Allison said I didn't need many extractions and my skin looked good. OK...but when I got home, I discovered many blackheads on my nose and cheeks!! What did I just pay $$$ for? Ugh! And I never received my extra eye treatment! When I was checking out, the receptionist apologized and said there was a mix-up and she didn't realize I was there for a facial, she thought I was just there for a wax. So, I think I missed out on some extra "pampering". Right now my feelings are mixed; I don't think my experience was great enough to go back, but it's not bad enough for a 3-star review. read more

My wife wanted something completely different for her long hair. She ended up getting about 13" cut off and absolutely loves it! The business was undergoing some renovations but it was still clean and welcoming. The stylist we had was E and she did an amazing job making my wife's hair look like a photo she brought in. I had 3 appointments at this place. The first for a haircut the next 2 for roots and highlights and roots and haircut. The haircut was an ok job, but my highlights are GONE. Despite paying a premium price for the services, I have to say this is the worst salon in terms of quality. The caramel highlights I asked for turned out ok the first time. The next appointment, whatever was used on my hair, there are no visible highlights! This is after paying over 200dollars for each visit. Upon contacting my hair stylist to correct this, I was told "the toner will set in and some small molecules will fall off to show my highlights in a period of time." Really! I pay for something which may show in few weeks!!!!! I have not heard that from ANY SALON! I am not going to get to a level of posting pictures or naming the stylist, but I would not recommend this place at all. They are overworked, overbooked. Not to mention I sat for my root touch up color to process for more than an hour and fifteen minutes because things are busy thee. I want to rate the quality, service, customer satisfaction all below 1 star if I had the option. read more

I booked a facial and prenatal massage. When Kali took me back for my facial, I was informed that I couldn't receive the facial I had booked because I am pregnant and needed to be on my stomach for part of it. When booking, there was nothing stating that certain services weren't available for expecting moms. I assumed that the spa had proper equipment to accommodate pregnant women. I switched facials to a 90 minute one where I'd be on my back. I told Kali I may need to move around at times because I can't be on my back for that long. Laying on your back while pregnant can cause your blood pressure to drop quickly and be extremely unsafe for mom and baby. Kail said I could sit up/walk around at any time if I needed. I started to overheat and knew this was a sign I needed to get off my back. I asked if I could sit up and she acted shocked and said, "right now?" I was not able to move off my back. She did lower the bed temp and put a pillow under my head. At the end I thanked her for being accommodating to which she replied, "yeah, I don't usually stand while giving facials." I left feeling like an inconvenience and was worried about myself and my baby because I was so close to passing out and unable to move positions to avoid it. My prenatal massage was incredible though! read more

Don't expect to pay the price you're quoted. I was charged $50 more for a partial low light/highlight than quoted. The bigger ticket item was toner that was applied during the wash which was $35. Shouldn't you consult the client before you apply a treatment that falls outside of the price you were given? Didn't even touch my hair up with a flat iron at the end & I was charged just as much as my Bay Area hair dresser. You can't expect repeat business when you misquote cost. read more

I decided to give this place a try being I had a gift card from someone for there... I booked myself and my 12 year old daughter a trim.. maybe each got 2 inch off... the girl that I seen was very nice, but rushed my hair I felt like... the woman who my daughter had, kept leaving to go talk to someone about another client who didn't like their hair, to one point she even talked about the other client in front of my 12 year old daughter. She also proceeded to tell my daughter his terrible her hair was from swimming(she hasn't swam in months) and letting my daughter know that her hair is so fried she should cut 6 inches off. Time to check out and my total come to $93.00 .... What for 2 - 30 min trims... mine was $35.00 because I was a new guest, my daughter was $45.00 and then an extra charge of $15.00 because her hair was thick... umm excuse me... $60.00 for a 12 year old hair trim!!!!! So I give my gift card which was $50.00, and my debit card, to be told my gift card didn't have a balance, I said I'm sorry I have never been here and the gift card was a gift, it's never been used, only to be told o well there is a zero balance, your total is $93.00! I paid the amount but will NEVER be back! Terrible service! read more

They have a lead stylist named 'E' ! I was told to stop in and talk to E about a color change so she could feel the texture of my fine hair and see if it could handle the chemicals. E was the rudest person I've EVER met. She acted like I was a bother, wouldn't touch my clean hair and practically threw me out. I spend so much money on products and services at this place. I suggest you forget going to E even for a dog bath and find a better managed and friendlier salon. This is a huge thumbs down.
