We had a lovely experience with a group of 12. Brittany was very helpful in taking our reservation with just a week's notice and the staff was very friendly and helpful throughout. The decor was so pretty and fresh. A lot of attention to detail. The dishes were all very good. We especially liked the poutine, wings, and soft shell crab with Thai salad apps. My berry crumble dessert was light and refreshing. The space is great for groups and my only comment is that the sunlight from the windows in the fireplace room was a bit glaring so it affected the comfort level for those facing the windows. Before coming here, I heard so many good things about this place which made me very excited to try it one Friday night. When we walked in, we liked the ambiance. The hostess was very friendly and we were seated right away with our reservation. The service was very good and our waitress was very attentive to our needs the entire night. For the food - just okay at best honestly. To start, we ordered the grilled octopus which looked very appealing when looking at it. The grilled octopus was very bland without much flavor. We then ordered the hummus + flatbread which just was average at best. For the main course we all ordered the hanger steak that came with the brussels sprout hash. The steak was good but not great and the hash was okay. Overall, the food here lacked flavor. Cocktails were excellent though! My gal pal lives on Long Island and my son and his wife was driving from queens to Long Island for an appointment. He asked if we available to joined him for brunch before his afternoon appointment. I said yes and my son said pick a place. So I heard of Copperhill but never been. I made a good selection. Excellent food and service. They had indoor and outdoor seating. We sat outside on a beautiful sunny day. They a had nice selection of specialty cocktails. I had a vodka lime and ginger cocktail that was very refreshing. We started off with some cinnamon sugar doughnuts and an order of Harissa honey wings. The sauce on the wings were amazing. Sweet and too spicy. The doughnuts came out warm. Next my son and my gal pal had the brunch burger and my daughter in law and I had the buttermilk chicken sandwich. Everything was cooked to perfection. I would definitely come back. Good ambiance, good service. Keep in mind, it gets very busy and is almost always booked up so you definitely need reservations even at 5 pm when they for a quick drink. You can always grab a bar seat, but they don't allow strollers at the bar. Haven't had dinner at this place, but the apps and cheese plate are always yummy with their wine selection. read more

I had one of the best meals. Such a great night, starting with the oily rosemary bread that was so delicious, to the cacio e pepe ramen and pork taquitos for starters. I ordered the salmon and it was cooked perfectly. For dessert we got the special brown butter pie which was amazing. Our server was also so attentive and helpful. Mixed experience this time. Nice, attentive service, seated right away. Free bread was oily but good. We had the grilled octopus app and it was very good. The wine took some time to arrive but was quickly followed by the app. She had the scallops and we both thought it was a very good dish. I had the ribeye and unfortunately it was overcooked. An otherwise excellent meal was ruined when I looked at the bill and discovered that every non-alcoholic beverages were billed for every refill. Considering that my small iced tea cost $5 a pop I could not understand why less expensive restaurants charge at most half that price and provide free refills. We had several refills each and were surprised at the impact on the bill. (My disappointment was not brought to the attention of the manager as I did not want to spoil the festive mood of my guests; I simply paid the bill. ) The food was excellent and I would rate it 5. However the prices while they were appropriate for the quality and quantity of the meals, I'm confident that they could have satisfactorily covered the costs of these beverages as well. Their approach to this aspect of their service left a bad aftertaste; I therefore rate it no higher than 1. I am averaging the two ratings for a final value no higher than 3. read more

Very romantic for couples to come for their date. Staff is attentive. I was very enjoy the food and atmosphere there. Only one star off became our main courses were too salty that we couldn't eat it. The server changed it for us right away with no salt menu. Which I appreciate it. But we're not on the sodium restricted diet so we're fine with seasoned food. It's just way too salty. read more

Solid 3.5 stars for the freshness of the food and the professional service. As is the case everywhere, prices have gone up and this might make Copperhill a bit pricey for the experience. The large parking lot and location are a plus. Without much to absorb noise it gets quite loud in there, which could be disruptive to a quiet table or a group looking to chat without raising their voices. The quality of the fare is definitely solid, from appetizers through desserts. Including wine or cocktails expect to spend $70pp. read more

Came here with a big group for brunch! We were a big group and they split us into two tables but we were able to sit ourselves on one and we took our time to order but started out with drinks. Our server was fantastic and we were over the moon with how stunning this restaurant is. I want the name of the designer to do my house! I started with a coffee and then got a Bellini. I ordered the huevos rancheros and asked for hot sauce. She brought the two tiniest, cutest bottles of Tabasco I've ever seen. When we all got our meals, our table went silent, and bubbled back up to share how fantastic all of our meals were. I tried a side of my friend's Mac and cheese... divine! My huevos rancheros with hot sauce was stellar. Love the crispy fire roasted bread/tortilla. The yolks mixed so well with the smothering of ingredients on top. So i made an open table reservation and we had our friend come with us because they offer some GF options. i loved the decor i think Martha Stewart or Ina Garten decorated it inside so homey warm and fresh. something out of a magazine really i ordered the Rose Sangria delicious, the hot toddy i wasnt a big fan of a little strong for me it almost tasted like theraflu. for my brunch entree i ordered the lamb burger.. it was delicious and generous portion of ground lamb cooked perfectly i just wish it had a little more seasoning in the meat i think next time ill order more breakfasty food or a diff option. our server was great too read more

Love the food, decor and service. When you walk inside, you feel like you're being transported into a farmhouse in the 1800s with a touch of modern. I did see a couple of reviews mentioning "pompous" staff and I would agree that the hostesses can be a little snobish depending on how crowded it is but that disappears as soon as you get to the table. I've been here a 3+ times and the waiters are always top notch. I prefer to sit in one of the back rooms as it's a little more private and cozy. Great for a date to impress. Wife and I came here for dinner last Friday. Had reservations for 7:45pm and waited about 10 minutes to be seated. Immediately upon taking our seats, our server Brittany came over without delay, with menus and a warm smile. She gave us suggestions and "top picks" on the menu as well as the day's special. She was very pleasant and her friendliness throughout the evening was well noted and appreciated. As for the food, it was all fresh and original. We had "Devils on Horseback" and Grilled Octopus for starters. The DOH were delicious and interesting. The octopus was smoky and cooked well - when it comes to octopus, I've had many misses elsewhere, but I enjoyed this order. For our entrees, my wife ordered the Pappardelle while I opted for the scallops. Her dish was familiar, but all the ingredients were of high quality and perfectly cooked. My scallops were terrific and, again, perfectly cooked. The flavor was light yet satisfying and the texture & firmness were spot on. For dessert, we shared a pumpkin mousse served in a wine glass. It was a decadent finish and more than enough to share. While the dishes were not huge, they were enough to satisfy, and they left room to try other things. In other words, if you arrive hungry, DO opt for some starters/apps. The interior was dimly lit but was not too dark. The table setup was simple but nice. The layout of the restaurant is unique and attractive - nothing over the top or gaudy. The parking lot out back was very handy and there were a few spots when we arrived despite a full house inside. While Brittany was the star when it came to service, others also popped by to refill our water and take away used plates & utensils. Copperhill is a place we look forward to coming back to and we already have designs on doing brunch here soon! read more

Probably one of the cutest restaurants in the area! From the outside the restaurant looks like a big house on the street. But from the parking lot there's tons of outdoor seating options available with cute plants everywhere giving it a very green scenery. The inside of the restaurant is just as beautiful. Lots of space and tables available. We stopped in for drinks and dinner after work on a Thursday night and we're not disappointed. We ordered tons of options off the menu and shared them amongst 4 of us. By the end of the night we were all SO stuffed. Everything was very delicious and surprisingly super tasty.
