I had some Avery labels to print, and so I downloaded Avery software successfully and tried to print the label I designed myself, using their software on my old printer, but the print outs are not lined up well. I've struggled for some time to line up my design on Avery labels in vain,wasting some sheets. And mucho frustrated, I decided to try Copy Mat place nearby. But alas the place was closed and instead I found Copy Pacific nearby. Whitney who greeted me was very friendly and helpful.. After hearing my frustration with Avery label, humble Whitney advised me to come back when Seu who is an expert on computer comes in. I waited for her and it was worth the wait. Seu who is a Korean like me not only knew my problem instantly, telling me that some old machines tend to fail to line things up after some long uses. With her help, I came out of that place in no time, with Avery labels printed beautifully the way I designed on Avery software. For a while I thought of investing in a new good printer to print myself, but when you have such a good place and service nearby, why would I need another printer. The always-angry-miserable guy at the main counter (Jay? Ray?) is ALWAYS rude and has one of the most horrible customer service attitudes in history-- extremely unprofessional, snappy, and absolutely aggressive personality. He was even intensely rude to the lady in front of me, and was incredibly rude to me on even the most basic questions. He then proceeded to charge me excessively high for my prints (ALMOST DOUBLE THE AMOUNT!)-- and when I called him out on it, even mentioning that I had been there a few times in the past, he got angry and stormed off! I mean-- seriously, WHY IS HE ALWAYS BEING SO EXTREMELY RUDE AND AGGRESSIVE TO EVERYONE? If he is the owner, he must be trying to put himself out of business and will eventually run that shop into the ground-- the people and businesses of Hayward are EXTREMELY well knit and connected and great to one another, so this kind of behaviour has become increasingly extremely disappointing-- absolute worst place to bring my documents. read more

Verbally abusive, slapping away someone's hand. The owner Jay should not be allowed to interact with customers. He has clearly forgotten that we live in a civilized society and as consumers have options. Please do not spend your money here. If customer service is something we all value as consumers we must enforce it. 2020 is already an incredibly challenging year and here comes Jay spreading ill will. I've went to this guy for years and he's always been reliable and accommodating for anything from routine to new needs. I've learned as a customer how to be efficient in preparation to make the most of my project and least of my time. Sad to see that the new location got smaller but the service is the same. Less expensive than other places, but their machines are old and bulky. If you are printing something on the computer, make sure their printers are working before you start using their desk-tops. They will charge you for the time you sit on the computer waiting for staff to fix the printer. Also, there is a minimum charge on computer usage not posted/mentioned until you pay. I needed to make a few color copies for my weekend scrapbooking projects, and I saw Copy Pacific on the corner of Foothill and B Street, and decided to check it out. The customer service woman was amazing and helped me get all of my copies resized quickly. Their prices were affordable, and I was in and out in less than 5 minutes!
