And here was I, approaching a balmy Northwestern afternoon, finding myself locked in the pantry amongst what smelled to be a rotting cucumber. Missy had left a screeching kettle on the stove and the insufferable Katrina was nowhere to be found, or amongst earshot, as alas, my cellphone was absent from my personal. Apparently, having drunk myself into a stupor the evening before, my local compatriots were forced to cast me away to the confines of our vegetable locker, stealing away my media devices before I sent any more lude images to the district 13 city counselor. Using my better judgement, I fastened two alpha beta chi plastic party cups from the 99 annual volleyball beach tournament to a roll of packing twine that unfortunately had spent the better part of the evening lodged in my appendix, but fortuitously was readily available when I wanted to fashion a telephone like the kinders do and float it unto a samaritanly neighbor. I found the window to the locker to be slightly ajar and deftly molded one cup through whilst grasping my other lucky alpha beta chi between my legs as to not lose it in the dark. Slowly, I began to feed the lucky alpha beta chi down the ledge as it negotiated itself across the outer wall until I heard a firm plop on the ground. But nein, I would not take shape of a spoiled victor just yet. The echo of the cupped plop dawned it upon me that Mr. Pickens was at his Wednesday bridge tournament and I had no one with whom to communicate. As the dastardly gangly North Birmingham youth that was I, summers were spent away from grandad in Osh Kosh under the tutelage of the Frugal Eagles, an accounting firm Boy Scouts type group with a penchance for Duck Hunting, so my duck call knowledge was fruitful. After several deep preparational breaths, I began a Mallard Feed Call which is accentuated by forced air through the nostrils and a high-pitched wheezing sound that in layman's terms, is comparable to a mating donkey. And yes! Wahoo, success! Within moments, the putrid cucumber air was replaced with freshness anew and I was rescued . . . As the pious daylight poured unto me, I soon came to realize that it wasn't my blossom bottomed Missy or the agonizingly tart Katrina who would serve as my liberator that balmy April afternoon. No, to my utter embarrassment, I found my Prince Peppenworth that day to be the effervescent young ladies of CopyCat Print Services on Hillhurst Blvd. And all too soon, it fathomed upon me that the rotten cucumber was sandwiched betwixt my sock and my Dr. Scholl's and I hadn't spent the evening in the storage locker, I had come into my darling print shop 5 minutes earlier to mail Missy's Mt Vernon Coin catalogue request form, and my blood pressure meds caused me to collapse while using the WC. On a final note, it turns out that the lucky alpha beta chis were actually cylindrical cartridges of print toner of which I was impetuous about reimbursing my assiduous friends, but they emphatically refused. As well, I would soon discover that the sonorous kettle sound had been emitting from my trouser pocket and that my media device was actually on my personal and needed expeditious replacement. Also, they simply cannot for the life of them open mailboxes for individuals anymore, so remember to bring your key. read more

CopyCat is the bees knees! As soon as I walked in, I was warmly greeted and felt welcomed. This place has a cool vibe to it and they also had some great music playing (had me singing along while waiting for a script) I've made several trips to the popular place that I will call "minkos" and instantly regret not finding this place sooner! "Minkos" overcharged me, gave me the cold shoulder and they never seemed to care that I required assistance with my orders, they just directed me to a machine and never bothered to answer my questions. At CopyCat they treated my order as it was their own and supplied me with great customer service and support. My first time at CopyCat and definitely not my last!
