I had ordered 2000 stickers from Uprinting for a trade show. But then Uprinting called and said they weren't going to be able to finish them on time. So we had to scramble and find another printer. Spoke with Andre at Copyland and he said they could get them done that day (Uprinting took 6) and cheaper than Uprinting. We emailed the design and proofs back and forth. I received a last minute request to have some 11x17, 50-page, color presentations printed and bound for a meeting that was set to occur in several hours. Most places I called needed a larger turn around time and wouldn't even give me a quote. The two other places who could do it in a short amount of time quoted me $687.23 and $624.50. Copyland took care of it for $296.70. Less than HALF of what the other 3 quoted me. They even worked with me to find the great binding option that didn't add to the final cost. They turned out great. Never, ever, go here. Their printing sucks, they're way over-priced, and their staff is dumb, slow, and lazy. I had a simple script print job, and they screwed it up royally, it was two days late, overpriced, and all the edges of the covers were all screwed up, and they made some dumb excuse about what happens when the "lamination gets cut." Yeah right. You may see some "good" reviews on here, but it's their family and friends. Just go somewhere else. Never again. read more

Horrible service. Waaay too slow. Staff has lame excuses for slowness. I had a coupon so I went here thinking it would be a better (& cheaper) alternative to Kinko's. I wanted to support an independent, non-corporate company as well. I guess I chose the wrong one. We had two posters to print. TWO. The nice guy at Kinko's could print these out in less than five minutes. Not this staff. The guy who "helped" us gave us 2 choices of paper -- one real thin, one ultra-heavy and glossy. When we asked to see other alternatives, he replied they didn't have any other selections. ???? He then says the 11 by 17 poster will be $4.75 or so to print -- Kinko's was charging a little over $2.00! I showed him the coupon, then he said the fine print said we had to make 50 copies for the .99 promotional price. Then another guy came out and said he'd give it to us for that price. Then we waited about 25 minutes for the prints. TWO prints. When I complained (we had a tired baby with us), a guy came out of the back and started giving me a lame lecture about "being patient cause we're doing you a favor by giving you a really good deal." Then I spotted the paper we originally wanted, which they said they didn't have. The one "helpful" guy said he'd switch to that paper. We said it was okay, but he said they'd already loaded it. After ten more minutes, our prints were ready -- on the harder paper the guy said he was changing. We asked for a bag to protect the sheets/carry them out, but all they said they had was a small envelope they showed us -- there was no way these posters would fit inside. So we left. NEVER go here. Unless you like to wait and hear no apologies/lame excuses for your wait. I would give Kinko's five stars before giving this place even one star. read more

Copyland has been our main stay in terms of mailers and custom referral card printing for years. Their service is prompt and dependable. When we receive calls to remove someone from our mailer list Copyland sends me confirmation the person has been removed. When we need small design tweaks made Copyland is quick to return a new proof. I am really pleased with their service. Andre specifically has been a great help to our office as well as David in the Design Department. I concur with earlier reviews. When the stickers I ordered from another company never showed up I was in an utter panic. I had a company event the next day. I googled "one day sticker", these guys came up at the top. Called. Daniel was very helpful. Picked up before they were officially opened. Told me to send the file. I came to them with a last minute rush job for 130 photo books and not only did they outbid two other companies with a fair price- but the quality of their product and their customer service was outstanding. As a photographer and photo book designer, attention to detail is of the utmost importance to me and these guys made sure to cross their T's and dot their i's. I had a good experience with copyland today. showed up with a very small job. and got it done while I waited. printing a photo from a scanned file. gave me the option to have it not cut to size as it would cost more.. and I told them I could do it myself. Listen.. the place is no frills printing house .. they do everything from umbrellas, tshirts, posters .. etc.. Their walls are covered with jobs received from the Hollywood Bowl to other commercial jobs done. They are not a Kinko's .. but a commercial printing house. I produced a little paperback book, doing it all in Word. The staff was very helpful, (Lycke, Patrick). They gave me advice on the set-up, and assured me that they could make it look great, even though Word is not the best platform for such a project. They gave me a couple of proofs, and even corrected some of the colors for me. I needed to have it for a Thursday event, and they had it ready for me early Thursday morning (although it would have been nice to get it the day before.) Daniel knows what he's doing, and may have seemed like he wasn't going to finish the job (saying I'd have it by Friday), but he did. The book turned out great, and I'm now returning for other print jobs. read more

I have been using this store for copying and printing needs since the mid 1990s, and it used to be a great place. USED TO BE great. Within the last six months, two family members went in to order business cards. Both times the cards were ordered before an important conference/trip and deadline for pickup was set firm. Both times the store promised timely delivery. Both times the price was substantial. BOTH TIMES WHEN WE WENT TO PICK UP, THE ORDER HAD MYSTERIOUSLY "DISAPPEARED." That's right, no cards ready, no record that any had ever been ordered. My daughter was able to get her cards by the end of the day (which of course required a second trip). It was too late for my husband. Now the store is telling my husband they're not sure they can cancel the order, which was pre-paid by credit card. "We have to get approval from the manager." Guess what: we're not going to pay. And we won't patronize this business again. read more

I am a professional landscape designer. I brought Vellum prints in to Copyland and they came back with a black line down one side and the graph lines showing through. When I told them these were not clean copies, and I expected them to be, the manager said he understood, but would have to charge me to redo them! This was after I had paid, as they process your payment before they do the work. At $7.50 a copy and $60.00 dollars on prints I couldn't use, I was angry. I would never go back, as they are unprofessional!!! read more
