They have a great variety of snacks including mini doughnuts, frituras like alcapurrias, and empanadillas of all kinds (carne y queso, pollo, pionono). We also saw sorullitos, limbers, small candies, plus ice cream and fresh juices. Perfect if you want to sample a little bit of everything. The menu is small but perfect for a quick snack. They even sell cute Puerto Rican merch. The staff was very friendly and welcoming, and our food came out quickly. Prices are very reasonable, ranging from about $3.25 to $25 depending on what you order. Delicious snacks from Puerto Rico. Coqui Snacks offers handheld snacks to enjoy with friends. My recommendation is to get El Super Coqui Combo. It comes with a beef and cheese empanada, chicken empanada, cinnamon sugar and powdered sugar house made donuts, alcapurrias, and sorulitos with mayochup. It's a great way to sample their entire menu if you are not familiar with the food. The platter is large enough to share amongst three people, unless you don't share food. The staff were friendly and did warn that it does take a few minutes to receive our order as everything is made fresh. The location is a bit hidden, and the building itself only allows 4 people inside at a time. They have plenty outdoor seating with music and ambient sounds of the coqui frogs. I came here after being away from the state of Florida for some Puerto Rican snacks. I was surprised to find they no longer serve pinchos at all. They serve Bacalaitos on the weekends now. We ordered Bacalaitos, alcapurrias, empanadilla de carne y queso, queso frito, sorullos, malta and a grape soda. They make the food fresh so it can take 15 to 20 minutes to get your food. The Bacalaito and fried cheese were very salty. The alcapurrias and empanadillas were the mosty tasty without being overly salted. The sorullos were also good. Prices are very high in comparison to a few years ago. The staff was friendly. They have a few outdoor chairs to eat quickly at. In my opinion, the food is overpriced and some items were good while others could be improved. The bacalaito was large and crispy and was a reasonable price, however it was overly salty. read more

Came here the 2nd time and tried the Pizza Empandilla along with my go to Limbers of Peanut Butter and Passion Fruit. Also had 2 orders of Crab Yuca Alcapurrias. This was on a Saturday and it was not crowded nor busy at all. The place was empty actually and this was around before noon? As far as the food goes - Pizza Empanadilla - This was so delicious. One of the best empanada because the pastry was melt in your mouth tender and light pastry not thick and heavy as to what I am used to. It was delicious. The filling was not that much though. I would probably need to eat about 3-4 of these to get full. Limbers were the same. I should try different flavors next time. The Crab Alcapurrias were delicious as always. I would definitely come back and order more pizza empanadillas next visit! I notice alot of people call in orders and just drive by and pick up. I have visited Coqui snacks about 3x before, and have always loved it-- I'm not sure what happened today, but I was disappointed. I've always found this spot a little pricey, but thought it was worth it bc the food was always good-- but today not so much. Flavor itself was tasty but everything seemed dry and stale, which was surprising bc I think they fry everything fresh. Honestly, I used to come here for a Puerto Rican picadera but I don't think I'll be back. I'm very dissatisfied with the quality of the food. My most recent order was 4 alcapurrias: 2 de mesa y 2 de yuca, a pincho, limber de coco and a Malta. My 2 alcapurrias de masa were okay but the yuca ones were very bad. They are shaped like almost a giant empanadilla and the middle is very burnt and very greasy. Now, I get Im eating greasy food but these were just too greasy. The pincho was not very tasty either. They serve it with 2 giant soggy tostones. The coco limber was mediocre as well. As a true Puerto Rican, they can do better than this. read more

We sampled 4 empanadas, the bacalaito, surullos (you must try the mayoketchup), and relleno de papa. Everything was amazing. The chicken and pizza empanadas were especially good. The seating is folding chairs outdoors, which was very comfortable in December. There is shade so it's probably comfortable most of the year. This is a local hidden gem in our community that has been here for a very long time. I used to take my kids as a treat after school and they would be so excited to get a limber and an empanada. They have all kinds of good Puerto Rican snacks like empanadas, alcapurria, and Pinchos. They are all cooked fresh to order and piping hot when you get them. They have tons of different kinds of limbers and they are all awesome. Corn, Nutella, bizcocho, piña, coco, tang, cherry.. and like 20 others. They are all good and Everything is fairly inexpensive. I just found a true gem. I am visiting central Florida as I live in California and wanted to have a snack so i Google PR snack places and this came up. Well, I loved everything about this place. First, the food is fantastic. I had a Jueyes empanadilla (crab empanada), alcapuria (made with yuca and beef) and Mavi (I don't know what to compare it to but it trastes delicious and limber de mantecado (frozen custard). It all tasted very authentic and I experienced excellent customer service. Now to the ambience ... oh my... the place it's nestled in a quiet spot that resembles a snack stand that you will come across at in the country side in PR.
