The pizza is fine. It's a pie. It tastes fine. But the delivery guy was absolutely the worst. He called my cell phone asking me to come to the street, if I wanted to go for a walk I would have just cooked dinner instead. I said no, please come up and he said he couldn't, he was double parked (while I could see his car in front of my apartment and he was absolutely not double parked. Then he rang the bell and outright refused to walk into my apartment. All while giving me the worst attitude. I will never order from here again since this is who they employ. read more

Right next door to the senior community center, decided to grab a bite. They were friendly and nice. I had the buffalo chicken slice and what I believe to be the grandma slice. The buffalo chicken slice was not as spicy and the chicken was breaded when usually what I'm used to is just pieces of cooked chicken. The grandma slice was tasty as well. One thing I liked was how crispy the pizza was. The flan was also good as well, it was light and just enough sweetness, it wasn't overwhelming. read more

Worst service ever. The place is literally 2 miles away and it took them 2 hours to deliver. When the food finally got here, the wonderful delivery driver refused to come to the apartment then hung up on my girlfriend. Then, the actual restaurant calls and the gentleman on the line said that the delivery does not including door to door, essentially, and told my girlfriend to cancel the order. We ordered a large sausage + mushroom pie and it was decent. I felt the dough was really thin since I wasn't full after eating two slices. I also felt it could have used a little more cheese since it wasn't very cheesy. The sausage and mushroom slices were also extremely thin and you could barely taste it =( I should have gotten a plain pie instead and saved myself a few bucks. This pizza is sadly the worst I have been to. If I could give 0 stars I would. The manager or owner is so rude and has a nasty attitude for no reason. They kicked my friend and I out for having outside food even though I bought something there. And he waited till after I bought it to tell me that I can't stay there even though he saw I had outside food. They basically took my money and made me leave. Do not go here. We come here at least once a month, best prices and quality food. I order linguini with white clam sauce and they make it just the way I like it packed with lots of clams. My husband loves the rice balls and my sons enjoy anything from a slice to Stromboli. read more

I love this place - I've come here at least once a month for the past year and the food here is great. Its definitely a staple in the neighborhood - these guys know everyone and it feels very homey hearing them speak to the customers. The pizza here is definitely better than many Williamsburg "artsy" overpriced pizzerias. I ordered a small cheese pizza with fresh mozzarella topping and no tomato sauce through Grubhub. Delivery itself was on-time, but I received a pizza with hardly any cheese on it -- basically the fresh mozzarella slices scattered like pepperoni, and no other cheese underneath. I called to ask what was up and was told that in order to get a pizza covered in cheese, i.e. a normal pizza sans sauce, I would need to order the extra cheese pizza, which would be more expensive. I will not order from here again. The crust is good but the logic behind the cheese makes absolutely no sense and isn't used by most pizzerias. Corato II is the only place where I have had this problem. read more

Ive been eating coratos pizza since i was 5 years old and im never going to order from there again ! I went in today and order a Caesar salad pizza and mozzarella sticks to go i have absolutely no idea why it took them 20 minutes to to finally put the pizza in the oven and heat it up I had somebody waiting for me outside who started honking the horn and was very annoyed but not more annoyed than me when I realized that he hadn't put my order in the oven he waited until another few customers came in to finally heat my order. Then when I get home I realized he didn't even put the sauce for the mozzarella sticks which by the way are awful. They have are over price and have horrible service! read more

I have no idea how this dump of a restaurant has received a rating this high. My little brothers and I ordered food here this evening, at around 5:15. We waited for over an hour and forty minutes, even though the establishment is only about two and a half blocks from my home. After waiting for an hour, we finally called the restaurant again to ask about our order and the guy on the telephone told us "10 more minutes, because we made your food fresh." This went on for thirty minutes more, and we were told each time that it would take ten more minutes. When the food finally arrived, it was completely appalling. We placed a large order, and everything was rubbery, soggy, half cold and half lukewarm with a dripping layer of slimy condensation on top of each container's lid. We ordered cheese fries, one chicken roll, two deluxe burgers with fries, zeppolis, and mozarella sticks which were the only item that was inappropriately hard. We never received our cheese fries, and everything else was quite literally nauseating. My little brother had to throw up. The french fries were rubbery with no crunch, it tasted akin to biting into decapitated baby fingers. The chicken roll was completely soaked. The zeppolis were burned, but probably the best part of the meal. Cappuccinos and hot chocolate were, expectedly, cold. The worst were the cheese burgers. Aside from also being completely sogging disgusting wet from probably being trapped in a closed container full of condensation for the hour it took for us to receive our order, it was tainted with chewy pieces of cartilage. Yummy. I will never, ever, ever order from this dump hole again. I advise everybody else to do the same, and I insist that every positive review for this establishment was written by either somebody who works there, or somebody with other personal interests. This place is terrible. A regular slice of pizza is the only thing you can expect to be decent. They offer different salads and dishes in the display case ,all of which look like they've been sitting there for weeks. Overpriced To say the least. Have been customers for over twenty years but the quality and service have gotten so poor it no longer is worth their prices. Also if you want a delivery expect at least an hour or more wait regardless of the time or day of the week and don't try to pay with a card because there cc machine is generally not working. Ordered for delivery from Corrato II last night hoping for a delicious fresh large pie pizza. What I received instead was a cold old looking pizza and it took them about an hour to deliver it and I only live 2 blocks away from them. Worst pizza ever, looked reheated, like it was sitting there forever. Never again, maybe I'll try Aces pizza next time. I have read the few negative reviews that have been posted. I can only assume that the reviewers are confusing Corato Pizza II with Corato or Corato I, both of which are or were also located in the Ridgewood area, but which have NOTHING to do with Corato II. This restaurant is immacculately clean. In fact, for years, Corato II was the recipient of the very rare but highly coveted "Golden Apple" award issued by the City of New York to the few establishments each year that not only pass the Health Department's inspection, but do so with flying colors. (The award is no longer given out, or else I am sure they would still be getting it.) As for the food, everything (and I mean everything) on their very large menu tastes like it was made in your own Nonna's kitchen. This is my all time favorite Italian restaurant, and I have been to some of the trendiest, most expensive places in NYC. Imagine 5 star food, dispensed in an unassuming, casual, neighborhood take-out setting. read more
