Super cute coffee shop. Love the space. These coffee shops in old farm houses are so cute. This one is also well appointed and clean. They also have a big back yard with a bunch of kids playground stuff so ideal for bringing the kids. I was particularly impressed with the decaf espresso- very high quality. I enjoyed my salmon croissant- the croissant was flaky and buttery and the salmon was high quality. It was on the small side. The avocado toast was different than what I am used to - the avocado was more like guacamole than I'm used to. That's not to say that it tasted like guacamole, but that was the consistency. Nevertheless it was pretty yummy. Prices were higher than others I'd seen in the area. More Bay Area price wise. Food was not super quick for counter service, but not too long - maybe 10 min.

At first arrival I will say this place is hard to navigate and park at. However, the area and scenery makes up for some of the obstacles you face enroute. I ordered "The Experimental" - which to be fair was explained to me to be an ever changing blend of seasonal flavors/fruits or barista favorites. All around 10/10 , i love a good seasonal menu so that combined with barista recommendations were buzzwords in my vocabulary! as well as "The Avo Toast" - quite literally the best avocado toast i have ever purchased. the lemon zest highlights all the flavors of each ingredient within the dish making it for a party in each bite! Aside from orders , i also purchased the Cinnamon Sugar Nut Butter stuffed dates covered in chocolate to which were slightly underwhelming considering it was only 2 in the packaging. Nonetheless, an excellent and flavorful pick up me sweet treat. Then lastly the Strawberry Guava Kombucha which had the perfect balance of acidity to sweetness. Highly recommend everything i bought and if you made it this far... thank you for sticking with me

The shop is rustic and family friendly. Inside is very cute with multiple cozy nooks to enjoy your food and drinks. Great place to read a book or talk with friends. The service is fine. However my drink and food were underwhelming. I ordered a gingerbread chai that ended up being mostly oat milk. Also ordered an açaí smoothie bowl that ended up taking the whole time it took me to drink my chai only to be the wrong bowl. I don't like slimy chia so I know I didn't order it ;) never got the smoothie bowl after 15 minutes more waiting. Won't be returning Also they changed their name to Corduroy.

What a cute spot! Getting here means pretty much driving the scenic route, and once arriving, their location is a nice house where you might even end up accidentally missing the entrance to this coffeeshop. They got a pretty decent menu of breakfast sandwiches and lunch sandwiches, along with of course some creative coffee drinks. We got the ube latte and a pimento BLT sandwich - both delicious. Service was friendly and quick. This is a great spot as well to bring your laptop to get some work done, or open a book and relax. Super cozy feel and I will be back.

Love this place. Great espresso. Tasty daily baked goods. Comfortable seating. Fun shop to look through up top. Sweet staff. And the best way to pass the time while waiting to be seated at the Bee and the Biscuit (iykyk). The only downside are the wasps in the summer... there are quite a few families living in the trees that wrap the porch. Not ideal, as I have a recently-discovered allergy. If you're like me, just bring an epipen with you, as the ube latte is to die for.

I LOVE coffee shops, especially located in houses or cottages. It enhances the experience of enjoying a warm and/or refreshing drink. It's like being invited into a friend's home, you know? And what do friends usually offer you to drink? A coffee! See what I am saying? My friend from Hawaii was visiting and we had planned to start the day at The Bee and The Biscuit. Well holy shit, when people said, there was a wait there, they didn't tell me it was gonna be a WAIT of an hour and 15. But, no problem, I'm a solutions gal. I noticed that Sawdust Road (SR) was located right next to it when I pulled in and it has been on my hit list too, so problem solved! We walked over to check it out to kill the time. The backyards are all open, so you can just walk over from the back. As a mother of 2 children, this is a PERFECT play date meet up place. Their backyard is huge and is equipped with Adirondack chairs and playhouses and apparatuses. So much room for the kids to run around and release all that energy. They also have a nice sizeable front yard, but it's pretty bare. I think it's just meant to look pretty from the street with a cute picket fence and just wild flowers. Inside, you'll find an old 2-storey house that is decorated beautifully with different rooms. Not sure if the upstairs is free to use. Didn't think to go up there. They also have a nice porch to enjoy. Just a cool vibe (see pics)! We didn't get any food, because we were going to eat shortly at The Bee, but I did notice they have limited food choices. They had some baked goods that looked delish in the display case. I had a Iced Chai which was yummy, but I did think it was a little heavy on the ice, so I'll ask for light ice next time! They also have a drive through section of the porch, close to the service counter which I thought was pretty neat and unique drive through "window". This is a drive for me, but I will definitely come back to bring the kids or just a great option to pass the time while waiting for brunch next door. Stay safe, Friends!

Cute ambiance with yummy matcha (ps- it's organic) and simple but yummy breakfast menu. I loveeeeeeee the decorations inside. You could even buy them. I did!! Friendly workers. I mean really friendly. We felt welcomed and we left happy! Ps- for people with small kids- there are a mini playground in the back. Swing and slides! Cute backdrop for a photo!

Wed am friend meetup. After stamping passport from Norfolk, learned their: parking's easy, Coffee is delicious, ordering is quick, menu is enticing (avacado toast is very good), price is average, service is great, ambiance of the old house is neat, and seating is cozy. If in Pungo, it's worth a trip to sip!

I've driven by here so many times, but never really noticed it. I always go right next door to the red barn or a few places down to bee and the biscuit. It had high reviews so I wanted to give it a try. It's in a cute old house with plenty of parking on gravel. You turn in right after the red barn before you come to the sawdust road sign. I ordered the honey lavender latte with the avocado toast. Both were just okay. I had to ask for more lavender because it wasn't quite heft enough for me. Even after the extra, I could have added more. I love lavender. I was a little disappointed when I opened my box of toast. The review pictures from other people show two pieces of toast, but I only got one. Not sure if my bread was bigger or what. Also, the taste was a little lacking. It has everything bagel seasoning and lemon, but I felt as if it were missing a little more oomph. I still ate it all though. I'd like to come back and try some other items. There were a few people sitting inside and some people outside. Definitely not busy, so that's great. The ladies at the counter were super nice and helpful too. I'll try other lattes and food items next time.

We came here upon the recommendation of a local resident. It was everything they said it was. We were just looking for a light lunch and some good iced coffee and that is exactly what we got. One of the lunch specials today was two frittatas. My wife a I both ordered that. They were good and made to order. We also both ordered an iced coffee that was amazing. My daughter ordered a sandwich. My son ordered a PB&J that was made with homemade peanut butter and two types of fresh made jelly served on a ciabatta roll. It was really good. They also offer a variety of baked pastries and muffins. The atmosphere of the old farmhouse gives off a cool vibe. It all made for a neat lunch together.

Looooved my coffee date I had here with a friend! This place has the most fun, hipster farmhouse-turned-cafe feel you'll find anywhere. From the decor to the menu, they keep a theme and do it well. I had the honey lavender latte- it was so good! I expected to have more of a lavender extract/oil flavor, but this actually had real lavender petals on top! It was so fragrant. I also tried their pecan maple scone- ugh SO good. I wish I could have one every morning. Getting to enjoy coffee by sitting on the front porch, cuddled up to a great coffee and enjoying conversation is my kind of place, I can't wait to go back!

Coffee, breakfast, and a unique experience Such a cool coffee shop. It is an old house in Pungo that they renovated into this wonderful coffee cafe. After making your order you get to pick what cool room you will be enjoying yourself in. There are a few to choose from. They even have front porch sittin'. The Coffee has cute names and the breakfast is made with fresh wonderful ingrediences. We loved the whole experience

The area would provide a walking zone for tourists, turning the rundown area into an arts & entertainment center. Fast forward to 2015 when City Council voted to establish the ViBe Creative District. In addition to the city's participation, a nonprofit organization was created and the vision of the ViBe began to be created into reality. An area adjacent to the Oceanfront didn't need to be filled with rundown buildings and vacant lots. It deserved to be a vibrant area that both locals and tourists would love and appreciate. Today the area contains restaurants, coffee shops, art galleries and a plethora of beautiful murals. Longtime popular surf shop WRV shares new neighbors that range from a distillery to leather smiths. The district is home to an annual mural festival and the Old Beach Farmer's Market. It's an area that calls for walking and exploration, rather than driving to a favorite eatery or coffee shop. If one motors through the area today there isn't a lot of foot traffic, even during tourist season. That's disappointing. Hopefully its new neighbor, the long anticipated Atlantic Park, will change that. The Dome Concert Arena has already opened as has the Surf Park, the only man made wave park in the world located near an ocean. Under construction are still urban residences, office space, shopping & restaurants. The future looks bright for the ViBe Creative District. So park your vehicle and walk the area built on the vision of a world where art is an integral component of the community.

Absolutely love wandering around & bringing friends to see all the cool art in the Vibe District! :)read more

The mural is two stories high and depicts modern soldiers carrying a wounded comrade to a medevac on a hovering Blackhawk helicopter. You will see shadowy figures in front of those soldiers that represent soldiers from the Revolutionary War, the War of 1812, the Civil War, World War I and World War II. The Vietnam War is included in the World War II figure because the uniforms were similar. The artist intended the shadowy solders of the past wars looking at "today's warriors preserving everything they fought for." Being over 10 years old and transferring ownership of the building has started to take its toll on the mural and it is starting to show signs of wear. The detail on the mural is still awesome as all of Welty's normally are. The helicopter and modern soldiers are very impressive, but as I mentioned this mural is starting to deteriorate and fade. You can also see where signs were when it was initially painted and has since been removed, leaving unpainted patches in the mural. The mural started on the Upper Deck restaurant, which changed ownership to Southern and Caribbean Bistro, to what it is now, the FFX Family Experience. It overlooks a janky looking commercial parking lot. As I previously mentioned, this mural is right over a commercial lot. There is also metered street parking and a few other commercial lots and garages within walking distance that you can park at to visit here. The meters cost about $2/ hour and the lots vary in price depending on what is going on and the season. Anyway, as with most murals that I have visited and reviewed, this is not a very long stop. I was there less than 5 minutes. You may want to consider planning out additional stops at many of the other boardwalk attractions/shops, or making this stop part of a larger itinerary to maximize your time and trip.

The least of these was rude or incomplete service, likely based in either poor training or ignorance or both The greatest issues concerned housekeeping. A lack of TOWELS --yes, that's right--meant every day we either had to beg for towels or not shower. The shower leaked onto the floor ( door seal insufficient) so keeping a towel for more than one day wasn't an option as the puddle needed sopping up so the sink could be accessed Gregg, a manager, tried very hard to fix issues. It is amazing and is a whopping 50 feet tall and 140 feet wide. Welty primary objective of the mural was to show appreciation to COVID frontline workers. It depicts several essential workers including a bunch of doctors and nurses, firefighters, police officers, grocery store clerk, a chef, delivery person, a construction foreman and an EMT. At the bottom of the mural is a quote by the late Fred Rogers, host of Mister Rogers' Neighborhood. It reads, "Look to the helpers, you will always find people who are helping." Below that, you will see a bunch of identical panels with people dressed in formal wear with mask on. They read, "Health Care & Service Workers of the World" at the top, "Thank You" and "You Are Appreciated!!" across the bottom. The color and detail of this mural is very impressive. It demands your attention. What I found extra interesting about the mural is that you will find instructions on how to create the perfect selfie/GIF there on a plaque. It shows you where the best spots for the photographer and subject to stand and give the final instruction to "have fun and be creative". I really like this mural.
