I called first thing Monday morning to see if they could squeeze me in at some time knowing they probably had a full service schedule. I spoke with Phil and he generously told me they would try to fit my vehicle by Thursday in between vehicles already on their service schedule. Manny did everything right but whoever was working on the vechicle did not properly do so putting us in danger multiple times .go to that big dealer get the warranty don't waist your time on these small dealers who pull cars from auction and don't look ober them 100% before selling .

We found a car we liked here, 2015 VW Tiguan R-Line with relatively low miles, and purchased it. We were impressed with the character Manny and his son "Dre" showed. They're definitely not the stereotypical used car dealer. It's a used vehicle and they're obviously sold "as-is". We did get a basic warranty. We noticed a clunking from the front left suspension when we got home later that day that we did not appreciate on the test drive. We let Manny know about it and he said he'd cover the parts if we covered the labor since we had literally just bought it. This was on Friday. Long story short, Monday the CEL came on & it went downhill from there! It's been in the shop since then for a few different codes and ultimately needs a timing chain. You can imagine what that bill is going to be. It's a chance you take when buying a used vehicle and we understood this. At no time did we feel "ripped off". Let the buyer beware, right? It was just extremely unfortunate timing & not his fault. This repair was unfortunately not covered under the warranty despite my wife's negotiating abilities! Manny has stood by his word and beyond! He is going to split the bill with us. This kind of commitment and accountability to the customer, after the sale, is extremely rare. But you'll find it at Harney Motors. He sold me the car with nine broken codes , and the check engine needs fixing. I was told that if I sold the car , I would only get 300 dollars from it , and to fix it it's around 5 thousand dollars. And , when I bought it , it took him atleast a month to give me my car. And , when I told him I wanted my money back , he said they don't do refunds.
