Short story, So I'm a single mom of four, and at 3am everything in our Apartment went pitch black. I called 911, they told me it wasn't a emergency. So I called my landlord, and he did nothing. It's been 2 hours that my children and I sat in the freezing cold with no heat, no power, and phone battery at 57%. Now it's 10am , and I called yall at 4am and left a message. Then Craig called me back at 10, and even though he had a full day's work, he would come over and inspect after he got off work at 5pm. He came and quickly found the problem which was outside the apartment therefore my landlords responsibility. But when I told my Landlord, he refused to pay Craig. He had some Mexican painter come over and pretended but then he said it's not worth it and left. So I was left with no power for 4 days. Freezing cold, so I went to Dollar tree and spent over $300 on batteries, candles, flashlights and games to keep the kids busy. Now on the 4th day, I called Craig and told him I had $200 cash on me and my landlord was going to pay the rest. It was old cable which burned out causing outage. As soon as I knew it, Craig was outstanding. He had to do a lot of back and forth running to get the parts to fix it. He also fixed it in the rain till 11pm at night all by himself. Craig saved us from a rainy storming nightmare. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. You were the only electrician that truly cared for my family's well being. And you went thru hell to get it done, but You DID IT. I had an emergency situation developing and Core electric answered the phone right away and agreed to come over and help. I explained the situation as best I could and Craig gave a reasonable estimate for the service. 4 hours later at midnight we were finishing up. Craig shows a genuine concern for details and making sure the job got done right. We highly recommend these guys! After being ghosted by an electrician that we had used in the past, I did a Yelp search and found these guys. I'm so glad I did. Craig and Shane were able to see us within 24 hours and help us out. We just moved into our new spot and needed some electrical work done. they came late, and never told us that the visit was going to be over $300, just for the visit. fixed and replaced 2 outlets, and that cost another $300, and they striped one of the boxes, so that I could not use it again. But he would gladly replace it for another $300. Took too much time getting simple outlets. They DO NOT have parts, not even outlet which cost $1-2. So if you have a lot of $300 bills lying around, then give them a call. But if you want to save money call someone else. Expensive...but they do know electrical trouble shooting. read more
