The restaurant is clean and the staff are friendly. The food is absolutely fantastic, but every single time I have gone here or ordered takeout/delivery, my order is incorrect. I do realize restaurants can be busy, but it's important to get orders right in case someone has a food allergy or a medical issue. Not to mention, the inconvenience of time wasted on ordering then having to re-order if I'm there in person and watching them throw out perfectly good food because I was not listened to in the first place. This was my first visit to CoreLife Eatery and it seemed appropriate coming from Green Planet. I was looking for something to hold me over to dinner and avoiding fast food. I pulled up their online menu and found the tacos are just the right size. Many taco options, I went with the buffalo. I ordered online using Apple Pay (for the first time lol) and wait time was 20-25 minutes. It was not busy so that was a little surprising. They are using Grub Hub app when you order online, maybe that effects the wait time. I stopped back to pick up almost an hour later. It was in the pick up section that you can grab and go. Unfortunately not hot because I got side tracked due to unexpected wait. I loved the trendy ambiance and signage Indicating fresh, scratch, clean eating, and gluten free options. I took mine to go and this little taco did not disappoint! It was so fresh and bold tasting and the buffalo sauce was perfect amount and pop of heat. I have always enjoyed Corelife Eatery and this is a great location for me when I do other shopping. The employees are always very nice and of course accommodating for requests. I absolutely love the purple rice and decided to get the Korean BBQ bowl with chicken. It was a decent amount of chicken and everything else went beautifully ..kimchi, spicy broccoli, carrots. You'd think with enough repetition, something would go right eventually...but no, they manage to find a new mistake every single time. Hair in food, sloppy assembly, incorrect orders..it's like quality control simply does not exist. The staff looks disengaged, unbothered, and seemingly allergic to accuracy. At this point, ordering here feels like a gamble: Will I get what I paid for, or will I get a surprise disappointment? Terrible service. Every single time I order from here the order is wrong. I have called once or twice about it and I am always met with "you have to talk to DoorDash ", instead of simply offering a gift card or a refund. The most recent time that I ordered my order was delayed by two hours, and they started blaming my DoorDasher saying that they stole the order. Mind you I have ordered DoorDash dozens and dozens of times and have literally never had any issue with any DoorDash order except when I order from this location. The management here is terrible and I mean terrible!!! Whoever the manager is of this location should be fired and should never work in a customer facing role ever again. I guess it's never too late to learn a lesson. Typically I read reviews of eateries before I buy from them but the local CoreLife eatery in Camillus always has so many people going in and out. I just figured it would be a good choice. I was wrong. Tonight was my first time trying them and I ordered a Steak & Bleu salad, which comes with bacon and walnuts only to get home to find they forgot the blue cheese, the walnuts, AND the bacon- literally most of the salad. It boggles my mind that a steak and bleu cheese salad could be missing the Bleu cheese, but again, lesson learned. This salad came w cranberry vinaigrette- which is confusing because the flavor profiles don't go together- and it's green as shown in the photos. I don't know where you get green cranberries from, but I tasted it and it does taste like cranberry except it's a putrid green color which is unappetizing. Moving on.... I also ordered a side of roasted brussels sprouts with maple drizzle. As you can see in the photo, there were four items in my Brussel sprouts which look like stems and just to be sure I bit down on one to see - and it's hard and totally inedible - a serious choking hazard. Quite frankly, this is the most ridiculous takeout order I've ever had. Oh my gosh! My husband and I just ordered from here and it was atrocious! We were so excited, I'm so disappointed! We ordered 2 korean bbq pork mac and cheeses and 2 steak fajita tacos (one substitute chicken) and everything was wrong! The lady serving us gave us barely any mac and cheese and the meat was entirely fat and the max and cheese was dried out-- however they managed to do that. I spit it out immediately. I am sick! I got my "usual", the large Spicy Thai Chicken & Rice Noodles, which I have always enjoyed very much. This time it was terrible. There were no sauces included (it used to come with 2 different ones), there was maybe a tablespoon of chicken, but boy oh boy did they make up for the lack of chicken with the green onions. Honestly, there were more green onions than chicken, cabbage, peppers and sprouts ( I only saw a couple sprouts) combined and multiplied by two. It was basically noodles and green onions. 45 minutes later and I still have a strong green onion taste in my mouth. My wife's order was missing the avocado that she had added and paid for as well. I just went into the core in camillus and an employee named Jim made my salad. After i got to the car i started to eat it and realized that there was a scoop of pickled onions in it. I specifically told him that I was highly allergic to any kind of onion and only to put rice corn lettuce and ranch dressing. after that i started to get really itchy and break out in hives and so i went back in and told him what had happened and he said there there was nothing that he could do for me. First time there today, it's just really loud. We felt rushed along while we tried ordering. I had the kale chicken Cesar. It was heavy on the kale and a little light in the chicken, all the grated Parmesan cheese was on the bottom. Husband had the steak blue cheese salad, which he enjoyed. He was disappointed in that in the rush to move us along, he didn't get a chance to add more toppings to the salad. The place was clean. But it just opened last week. Been to Core many times since they came to town. Classic story of a restaurant starting out with good quality and value and slowly degrading into mediocrity. In previous visits I've had to ask the server to actually add some protein after seeing the meager amount they initially added. I think $11 is a bit much to pay for noodles and shredded greens. Our last visit 11/15/21, my large bowl had 0nly 6 dice sized pieces of chicken and my daughters large bowl was only 3/4 full. After this experience we've decided that we have paid our last visit to CoreLife Eatery. Many other options nearby for good food with good value. read more

While in line, I was told to put on a mask by the server before she could make my bowl, I kindly put the mask on and proceeded to order my food. While going through the line, we got a glimpse to the back room where they prep our food, none of the employee we're wearing masks while prepping the vegetables and on top of that one of them was VAPING all around the food that was being prepped. I love core and was excited to see this new location open up. All of their salads are delicious, as well as there Thai noodle dish. You must get their lemonade or cider green tea. They can be heavy handed on the salad dressing so I tell them light dressing. It looks like a new menu from other locations. They have plates now. I have been to core life in camillus twice, and the first time I told the employee working the first station greeting customers it was my first time and I was a little overwhelmed and she just stared at me, was rude throughout the process, and never smiled once. The second time I went there were two old ladies in front of my sister and I who were obviously hard of hearing and the two employees kept rolling their eyes and making fun of the women for not hearing them, and were not helpful at all. Tonight's visit was more than a disappointment in an eatery. It was a stark and frightening realization of just how mad this world is becoming. Clearly the manager who abusively took my order is in immediate need of mental health care and if there are children and a significant other in his life they too need immediate help. Drug testing should also be considered. Attacking a stranger, no less a customer, makes it unfathomable how he must treat those close to him.
