Grilled chicken Caesar salad, croutons, Parmesan cheese, and bacon
    Erica M.

I usually only get the grilled chicken Caesar salad from here. The portion is generous as I'm usually full when I finish it. It's made with fresh ingredients and they even cook and season the chicken they use for the salad so in my opinion improves the taste tremendously. I only wish they would give a little more dressing. I always forget to ask for an extra cup and I'm one of those people who love every single bite to be coated in dressing lol. I also liked how they gave me a couple small pita chips. Those tasted like they were made in house and were delicious! I used them to make a little salad sandwich lol. I can't say much about the other menu items but if you're looking for a good salad try them out.

"Healthy and Fresh" is the motto of Pita Pita, a small eatery that strives to give customers a wide variety of healthy and full-flavored alternatives to greasy fast food, according to local owner Marc Sardo. They offer pitas, wraps, paninis, subs, salads and sandwiches, along with various desserts and sides. The wife and I stopped in before heading to an event at OCC, and we wanted something quick and close. We walked in about noon and the place was empty other than the two employees. Our order was taken right away, with the wife ordering a Monte Cristo panini while I went with a southwest steak pita, and we also got a side of pasta salad and a rice pudding dessert. The employees weren't exactly the most exuberant, but weren't rude either. They told us to take a seat and our order would be brought out to us. Food was prepared relatively quickly. Our sandwiches were served on paper plates which was a tad off putting for a sit in, but it's not exactly some upscale restaurant anyway. The restaurant is modernly decorated and extremely clean, as others have pointed out. They clearly put an emphasis on cleanliness. We dug into our food and agreed that everything was just ok. My pita was filled with fresh veggies and a tasty chipotle sauce, but it was just normal unseasoned cheese-steak style meat inside. It was huge, but also hard to eat and extremely messy. My wife said her sandwich was ok, nothing special. Bread wasn't toasted nearly as long as it should've been. The pasta salad side was not enjoyable at all. It had little flavor to it and the flavor it did have wasn't enjoyable. My wife did enjoy her rice pudding, however. Overall, it was alright, but nothing special, and a place we probably wouldn't visit again.

My work on Brighton Ave. Orders out every Friday. This week it was Pita Pita. I ordered the grilled chicken Caesar salad. I didn't expect the bowl to be so big. Everything was fresh and delicious. My coworkers agree we will be ordering from this place again

Wow this food is nasty. Perfect for drunk college kids who can't taste. On top of the bad food a spider fell out of my sandwich.

We arrived to a busy atmosphere that quieted down throughout the night. We started with cocktails which were strong and delicious. The brussel sprout appetizer was to die for, who knew that brussel sprouts go well with blue cheese! I ordered the salmon dish which was incredible. My friend enjoyed the Greek chicken dish. We were disappointed we didn't have enough room for dessert so we'll just have to come back! Other notes: the service was friendly and there was extra parking across the street if necessary. I read up on the menu and discovered they offered lamb chops which is one of my absolute favourites. A taste of home for me! Friendly and efficient staff welcomed us and showed us to our table. So far so good. Very nice young woman looked after us. My wife ordered the rigatoni and I had the chops. She loved her rigatoni so much she's finishing it off 2 days later and still loving it. Sadly my dish was a bit of a disappointment. My two large chops were extremely fatty. It's the kind you simply can't cut through on a slippery plate. Trying to separate what little meat there was from the fat was impossible so I had to give up and bring it home to a cutting board and an extremely sharp knife. I haven't tried to eat it yet but it looks as fatty as the first. Both had been totally covered by a condiment that I think should have been served in a separate container to allow the diner to regulate the amount desired. The base was a pilf which made trying to cut the chops even more difficult because every time the meat or the knife slipped, the table was showered with grains....all a bit slapstick....! As I previously said, my wife loved her meal and the previous visit was epic so I hate to criticise but I'm just trying to be honest and fair. I think $45 for a couple of very fatty chops with not much meat and smothered in a vinaigrette you might not like is a bit cheeky... In different circumstances I would have sent it back. Oh well, you live and learn...

As always, it is a great environment with dining room, patio or sunroom options. Wine or beer only, and wine prices are quite reasonable. Very large space and tables are well spaced out to give everyone some privacy. I wanted to specifically make it for the lunch because I wanted to try the Lemon Ricotta Pancakes which came with greens and a side of protein. I choose potatoes. Walking through the restaurant was nice as the space was very large and the decor indoor was cozy and whimsical. Our server was nice throughout the meal. However, I did get a water glass that had marks on it that looked like someone just drank out of it and a crumb on the rim. I asked them if they could get me a clean cup and they ended up bringing the same one as the same mark and crumb were still there. For food, our table ordered a few items to share. We got: -CAULIFLOWER WINGS: The chutney/salsa on top of the fried cauliflower was nice and gave the item a little sour kick. However, the cauliflower itself was not cooked fully so not as soft as I wanted it to be. -SYRACUSE POUTINE: The appearance of the poutine was not the best. However, the gravy it came with was very flavorful and tasty. The potatoes themselves were not fried and were in wedge form but went well with the gravy. The small globs of melted cheese on top were a nice complement. -CAJUN SLIDERS: The slider compliments/sauce went well together but the sliders themselves had grill marks on it which gave a bitter bite to those parts of the slider. Additionally, the fried shrimp inside of the slider still had the tail on and so it was a bit of a surprise to bite into a full tail while eating a slider. All in all, a cute spot to see people but food had some hit or miss components.

Rest assured, that is not the case when it comes to Stone Creek. From the moment we walked through the front door the staff was friendly and attentive without being overbearing. The decor/ ambiance was a pleasant mix between relaxed/casual to upscale. Nothing fancy or pretentious, but welcoming and inviting. Although I'm a local I've not eaten here until tonight...a point I regret. I'm a steak snob that often finds numerous faults in a steak I get in a restaurant knowing I could do better at home. This was not the case tonight. My ribeye was cooked to perfection, was full of flavor, tender and juicy. That alone would bring me back for more, but the mushroom cream I had as a side was spectacular and took my experience to an all never level of enjoyment. My wife had the seared ahi tuna with a duck confetti fried rice. I sampled it...another success story there. I've read plenty of reviews about the price...but I'm here to tell you that the $ is in perfect alignment with the quality, flavor and portions received. I have ZERO negative comments and for the sake of brevity I can only say this.....I WILL BE BACK!!!

I was the only returning patron, the others much enjoyed their first time here. Walking through the front door you're instantly hit with a wonderful smell of food cooking over an open fire. Got a terrific table to look out the window and enjoyed a nice evening view. Took full advantage of every food meal course available. Started out with their evening appetizer of homemade bread with cinnamon butter. Each of us got our own dinner choice along with small plates to start. The two small plates were green lentil salad and ember roasted carrots. Both of them with their unique flavor and style. The green lentil salad featured heirlooms. The ember roasted carrots featured labrieth, doqqa, and maple syrup. Keep in mind everything here comes from local farms and local breweries and distilleries. Big fan of supporting the state and local community. Fantastic! They feature only a few main entrées, tonight's included halibut, steak, chicken, and sea Island peas with jasmine rice. Knowing how well seasoned their steaks are, I went with a filet mignon 10 ounce. Probably a little more than I should've gotten, but I very rarely eat steak and know how well and good they are here. Ordered the steak medium to medium rare and that's exactly how it came out. Mouth watering delicious. Along with the steak includes mashed potatoes, chimichurri, kale, and. crème fraiche. Every bite was outstanding. One of us got ice cream for dessert which she said was very good. The ice cream was made right there at the restaurant. We kicked off the dinner with a rum cocktail and a tequila cocktail. All spirits locally sourced. If you haven't tried it here yet you should. You will not be disappointed.
