Just a warning, you have to wait u til all of this is done before you can get your cake.
    Melanie T.

This is the first time I am reviewing while I am at the establishment (that's how unimpressed I am). So inefficient to order from here. We just wanted a cake and had to wait 20 minutes for someone to go in order from a line of coffee orders to grab something behind the glass. I waited over 20 minutes and watched an employee pack our pastries (it took them 30 seconds to get it together). Normally, when you order something from the case, the cashier gets it immediately. But not at Olive and finch - you have to wait for all the coffee orders and drinks to go before. I have never experienced this at any restaurant or bakery. While the carrot cake was good, I do not recommend coming here before your show on a weekend. I wanted to support an AAPI owned business but they need a remodel of how their operation works. It's absolutely ridiculous to have to wait for 20 minutes when the cake could be grabbed right away. They are absolutely not prepared for Denver when there's a musical, an Avs game, and a Rockies game. Severely understaffed. Very disappointed and will not be coming back. If you're here for an event, I highly recommend you stay away. Come on a slow night. They can't handle it when it's busy. There's better places to eat at that can handle a crowd.

Yogart parfet was very good. Blueberry compote on top made it!! Pancakes had a slight lemon flavor, very tasty. Lastly, the Mexican rice bowel was filled with black beans, fresh cilantro, and pico. Large portions all round. Service was good; however ordering table side, didn't work. Had to order at counter. Busy because of Chalk Art Festival. Nice restroom.

Stopped by on my travels and was surprised but a great menu selection. I enjoyed ordering via the QR code and the ability to make it a seamless cafe visit. The sandwich was full of flavor and the cafe ambiance was great. Super close to the convention center!

Buddha bowl -rice. Sad and depleted.

I want to give this more stars because it all looked so good while I ordered but what I received was lackluster, at best. The muffin I snacked on while I waited for my to-go order was definitely delicious, as was the vegan raspberry and chocolate trifle I finished my meal with. But the Buddha bowl I received was so minuscule as compared to what I saw being served, it was laughable. Granted, I asked for no rice so she added extra greens. But if what I got was extra, I cannot imagine what normally would have been served. This was definitely not worth what I paid, whatsoever.

Food was good. Unique options in the menu. It was a Sunday evening and a lot of things were sold out! The Mediterranean platter is a good shareable Item. Music is playing in the dining room and it's a modern ambiance. You order from the QR code at the table, so service is limited.

My friend and I loved this place so much we went for breakfast and lunch! Beyond friendly service and great concept. Their turkey sandwich and French fries were heaven. Perfect ciabatta bread and I'm still thinking about their fries!!! The goddess salad is cucumber forward and no lettuce, so keep that in mind. For breakfast I got the salmon toast, which was more of a potato bread, which made the dish pretty heavy. The flavors were spot on and portions were good. We also enjoyed their almond croissant, but I was so tempted by their endless pastry offerings to order more. I highly recommend coming here, but they get super packed for brunch!

To say this place is incredible would be an understatement. The coffee was only the beginning of a flavorful meal. I highly recommend starting with the Mexican Latte and add extra cinnamon. It was my first time having a shakshouka- and I cannot wait to experience it again. The depth of flavor was phenomenal. Their lemon pancakes were unique- which is really hard to accomplish with a staple breakfast food. Every bite of food was delicious, and the restaurant itself is really well decorated and maintained. It was a perfect, quiet, relaxing start to my Saturday- and will hopefully get the chance to go again! I love supporting local, and highly recommend coming here. I love the origami menu that they provided too!

Olive & Finch is a fantastic spot to eat before a show at The Arts Complex! A fast casual eatery serving up some really delicious eats. The food is really top notch and you get some bang for your buck. Plus there's lots of bakery items to choose from if you're just looking for a quick sweet treat. Service is very casual. You either order at the counter or pick a table and order via QR code. Food did take a little longer, but they were pretty busy, so it was understandable.

This how we left it. A big miss.

A big miss. I couldn't wait to try their curry chicken salad sandwich. It arrived as chunks of curry chicken falling out of the croissant. It wasn't creamy and wasn't What one would typically refer to a "curry Chicken salad". A major disappointment. The chicken matzah had no flavor. Served with pulled chicken and half cooked vegetables...did I mention no flavor. The highlight of the meal was the Reuben sandwich. It was good. Huge portion and we shared. The cinnamon roll was hard. We tried the strawberry cake. One bite and we were through. Super dry. Service was lacking. We had to ask for silverware and our drinks didn't arrive till after our sandwiches. No refills.

A wonderful joint for a chill brunch with friends. The food was delicious with spicy and fresh tasting ingredients. Everything we ordered was out in 25 minutes and all the waiters were kind and joking around. Definitely a good place to stop in with friends and enjoy a cup of coffee.

Very beautiful Modern artistic atmosphere. Delicious fusion food with a wide variety options to order from. Efficient ordering system to find an available at your choice and order by QR code at the table so effecient to have split checks or order for yourself but difficult to order if you do not have a smart phone. Mexican Latte has a great Hinton spice and orange flavor and strongly recommend, its my absolute favorite. Lyon is our favorite brunch option. Benedict caprese was also good. For dinner, we tried salmon curry, chicken, dan dan noodle, luca sandwich, and pork ribs appetizer. EVERYTHING we ordered was very delicious. Chicken was so crispy on outside and juicy and tender inside. Salmon curry had such a delicious balance of coconut curry with veggies. Good espresso martini too. Unfortunately, the restaurant does not take reservations. Highly recommend to be a early bird to walk-in to beat the lunch and dinner rush hour!!

The perfect Denver breakfast spot doesn't exi--oh wait, yes it does. It's Olive & Finch. From the moment I walked into Olive & Finch, I felt like I had stumbled into a hidden gem that locals try to keep to themselves. The atmosphere is welcoming and stylish without trying too hard--warm, modern, and full of good energy. You can feel the team likes being there, and that vibe is contagious. I ordered the Basic Breakfast Plate, which turned out to be anything but basic. Everything on the plate was cooked to perfection, but the little details truly made it special--like the crispy, fresh baguette-style toast served with strawberry jam and soft, actually spreadable butter (can we take a moment to appreciate when butter isn't straight from the fridge?). It's those small, thoughtful touches that set Olive & Finch apart. Now let's talk about the bread upgrade--because you can upgrade your life, and at Olive & Finch that means choosing the Croneigh, their signature cross between a croissant and a beignet. Crispy on the outside, warm and buttery on the inside, with the perfect dusting of powdered sugar. It's the kind of thing that makes you wonder why more places haven't thought of this combo. It's that good. Coffee? Incredible. I almost added cream but after one sip, I realized it didn't need a thing. Rich, smooth, and roasted to perfection. And I can't end this review without a shoutout to Helena at the counter--charming, super knowledgeable about the menu, genuinely excited to be there, and so helpful. Honestly, the whole crew seemed happy to be working there, which made my morning that much better. Oh, and for those who complain about the surcharge to help pay their employees, it's tough to find and keep good workers and the surcharge isn't that bad plus you're in the heart of downtown next to the most beautiful opera house! I definitely got what I paid for this morning and love this adorable spot. Whether you're grabbing breakfast solo, meeting friends, or just looking for a spot to feel like a local, Olive & Finch hits every note. Definitely coming back--and definitely getting the Croneigh next time.

This was my first visit to those place. It is right across from the office that I visit when in Denver. The place is quiet and has a nice upscale environment. I ordered a latte and a cinnamon roll while I was there. The roll was sizable and was plenty filling enough. The latte was well made. We arrived right when they opened and it took a few min to get the food, but it was good. I will likely try this place again when I am back because they had several interesting things on their menu.
