Great "social hour" appetizers. I was staying in las colinas and I needed something to eat so we chose this place. It was happy hour so ordered off the HH menu. I have only been to Cork & Pig twice. I hope to remedy that, because it has been one of my favorite dining experiences both times. The restaurant is very nicely setup. I love the decor and their candles (that they burn and sell) smell so good. The bar is nice and big. Their outside area looks great, but I have not experienced it...yet. Service is impeccable from the moment you walk in to the table servers and when you are leaving. It's service to a level that you do not exist much any more. Then there is the food. It is amazing. I have tried two of their salads, so far. They are not your typical salads. It was hard not to get the Crabcake salad again, because it was so good. That Champagne Vinaigrette is perfect. But, I wanted to try something else so I got the Steak Salad. I was not disappointed! I am picky about Deviled Eggs, because I make them and I find they are often dry in restaurants, but the deviled eggs here rival mine and are definitely worth getting. The Crispy Fish sandwich was delicious, but the roasted cauliflower was even better. The restaurant is large enough, so I am hoping to take one of my Supper Clubs here soon. Food was good and so was the service. However, I'm slightly disappointed with my blackened ribeye dish. Presentation is on point, but for $56, my steak should've been at least an inch thick cut. My steak was slimming on 1/2 inch causing it to overcook. I asked for medium rare and it was medium well. Loaded Parm mashed potato tasted like boxed potato, and lacked in Parmesan flavor. The sour cream, cheese and bacon topping was the only thing that saved it. We also had spinach dip, calamari, black truffle pizza and tres leche cake. These were all good. I'd come back, but will probably pass on the ribeye. Longhorn steakhouse serves a better thicker bone in ribeye steak for $33 with 2 sides and Parmesan crusted mashed potato is delicious. read more

I came here today for lunch. I've never tried their brunch menu so I gave it a try. I ordered their "Fix" breakfast plate which had eggs, potatoes, sausage and sourdough bread. Overall the breakfast plate was good, I decided to try bacon instead of sausage patties. Our service was great and our order was served really fast even with it being busy. If you go fir brunch, order the Piglet drink with us 1/2 mimosa and 1/2 froze. I've never had a drink quite that delicious. I will definitely be coming back for brunch soon. read more

I can't really review this place yet. We walked in after leaving another bar, not realizing they were winding down for close. Bartender was really nice. He told us it was last call and we had 2 minutes or he couldn't serve us. So we ordered our usual shots of tequila and whiskey. The one thing we both said as soon as we walked in the door was that it smelled AMAZING! I definitely want to go back to try something because I wasn't hungry but just smelling the food I wanted everything. Lol. The place looked really nice for either casual or special occasions. The music was at a nice low volume, and sound didn't echo much in the space so we were able to catch up with folx easily. The tables were a strange height in comparison to the chars - it felt kind of like sitting at a kid's table? Like the tables should have been 5-6" shorter to be the right height. I got the deviled eggs for my starter and the wood fired chicken for my entree with a side of broccolini. Everything came out plated beautifully and was pretty tasty. The deviled eggs had such a strong taste of mustard which wasn't my favorite but I'd say it was still pretty tasty. The wood fired chicken came on a bed of parm mashed potatoes swimming in a sea of gravy with mushrooms and sautéed spinach. It boasted tons of flavor and was pretty satisfying to my palate.
