I don't know what these reviews are about, I had a great dinner here. They have really good local taps, staff is awesome, and food is fantastic. I got a chicken sandwhich with low expectations and it was really top notch. It was one of the better chicken sandwiches I've had in a long time. Bartender knew all about Milwaukee local beers and had great recommendations. He knew about the breweries they came from and how they were made, really refreshing. The Sheraton Four Points has a great Park & Fly room deal and what seems to be a secure gated lot where you park your car during your trip. After you check in the shuttle driver leads you to a parking spot and takes you back to the hotel. I'm fine with that, even when I realized that dinner options are now limited to the hotel restaurant (and a few places within walking distance). We opted for the hotel restaurant, Cork 'N Cleaver. The food and service was decent though unspectacular. I had the Friday night fish & chips, my wife had Korean wings. Both the fish and the chips were from standard bulk packages of frozen food (or as I like to call it -- RFS food -- using the initials of a local restaurant supplier in my region). But it was properly prepared and promptly served when it came out of the fryer. My wife's wings were nicely spicy and sweet, but the one she let me try was dry and over cooked. The beer list features local craft brews -- a definite plus. If you choose to avail yourself of the Park &Fly deal, dinner at the hotel restaurant will do just fine. The one plus: they carry some of the local brews from Lakeside Brewery and from Leinenkugel's in Chippewa Falls. I miss those. The woman next to me in the bar hearing my frustration with the lackluster service recommended I try the Chocolate Martini like she was having. She said they were the best she's had in the city but said the beer was a good back up. That made me laugh. CnC is located in the downstairs of the Clarion hotel near the airport. This restaurant was the worst dining experience that I've had in Wisconsin in two weeks on my business trip, very unpleasant. In a party of 3 we only got two placement setups. The waitress wasn't very attentive as my glass of water was empty more than it was full with. I did get a refill but I had to ask for it. I ordered a steak and baked potato and wasn't asked how I wanted my steak prepared. When I asked about it, I was told that it was done already and it's medium to well. The steak was fine but my point was I wasn't given a choice. Then I wasn't given a steak knife nor condiments for my baked potato which was very dry. Then I looked at the ketchup bottle provided to my wife and it was just filthy so filthy that she had to open it with a napkin. In hindsight we should have left when the waitress Amanda didn't come right back to see if we were ready to order like a well run restaurant waitress would have. I never leave reviews for these kinds of things because I usually settle my business with managers. I try to offer my experience in a constructive fashion that allows the establishment to examine my complaints. This was the first time that I had ever asked for a manager and couldn't get one. Amanda said that she had been searching for one for 10 minutes and couldn't find him. I explained to her everything that I just wrote here and told her that since she can't find the manager I will have to take my experience elsewhere so that's why I am leaving this here. With Lent soon approaching us, I felt it was crucial to right this review now. It strictly is on the Friday Fish Fry. Well I with also sprinkle in a dusting of the Packer nostalgia... This is a real option here- ALL YOU CAN EAT COD- Fried OR Baked. Like what ever you want more of!!! Below, I will go over some typical requests I asked Sharon our server for and she delivered without batting an eye. I will have two more baked cod and two more fried cod please. DONE I will have three more baked cod. DONE I will have one more baked cod and one more fried. DONE. My water glass never went empty, service was pretty exceptional, and the food was better than expected. I did not like the tarter sauce though. I spent half my meal trying to put my proverbial finger on the ingredient I thought messed it up, and I came to the conclusion that it was cloves. I may be wrong, with the guess, but regardless, it was not good. The full bar is attached to the hotel and has some excellent GBP (Green Bay Packers) memorabilia. I would say my second favorite in MILW only falling short to Matty's in New Berlin. Quality pieces. I also must comment on the bathrooms. A+ for that. The "all you can eat" is like $11.95 (US)!! For a pretty fancy place, I was really impressed with the price point. Staff was first class, I saw them deal with a couple that were fresh right out of the jerk store. Just a pleasant experience. parking was a little confusing because it jives with The Clairon Hotel and Mike Sweeney's Gym. Late night happy hours 9pm-11pm, and regular happy hour from 4pm-6pm. Fish fry runs from 11AM-10PM. Don't let daylight savings screw you up with the hours. It falls in the middle of lent this year. read more

We brought in 8 couples with kids from a baseball tournament. Place was dead but took over an hour to get food. They claimed one cook and it'd be slow. I used to be one of two cooks who served 200 people. Not acceptable. The bartender could care less about our service and seemed like he wanted to go home. Avoid this place and this hotel. Smells like weed everywhere. Don't stay or eat here. Horrible. read more

Easter brunch was packed!!! We were seated 20 minutes after our reservation time (1 star reduction), but the food was GREAT! Nice variety, especially seafood, which I appreciated since I am not eating meat right now. Salad selection and toppings were good quality and dessert table was out of this world. I would usually choose to eat more potatoes than cake, but their chocolate cake could not be missed! Waitresses were overworked and my water and coffee were not refilled. This was one of the worst dining experience I have ever had. I decided to make a reservation for my birthday. I should have known by how hard it was to try and make a simple reservation that the rest of the experience was not going to go well. We were the only table in the restaurant for about an hour and still had to ask to order food. Our food took well over a half hour to get and what's more is it came out in shifts! Being polite, I waited for the rest of my family to get their food, which took an additional 15 minutes or so for our entire table to get their food. By this time there were other tables in the restaurant complaining to the manager about how long their food was taking. We had to ask for refills as well as our plates to be cleared. Overall, we were at the restaurant for more than two hours for a simple dinner. read more

Came down for a glass of wine and to eat after traveling all day with work. I received the wine in a wine jug. Expecting a wine glass, it did not appear. I asked politely if I could have a wine glass, to be told "if I had a wine glass don't you think I would give you one"! Really! I would expect it would be normal to give me the wine and explain they had no wine glasses. Easy, you would think. I paid for my wine and gone to eat else where. Not sure how they are in business. I don't normally right reviews unless it is exceptional but felt I needed to share this worse experience ever. If the owner sees this review you have a good opportunity to train your employee on customer service. I am sure the food is good but not staying to be spoken to like this again. Oh forgot to mention that I asked for a small whiskey glass which I received, then to be told to pour all the wine in the jug into the glass so she could take the jug away. OMG. Worst breakfast buffet we've been to in our lives. Scrambled eggs, if you didn't mind waiting for 15 minutes for the cook to make some, cold sausages, gummy oatmeal, bagels, cold cereal, one kind of yogurt, cold shredded potatoes, toast and limp french toast. I'm not sure how to rate this as I've not been there in years. I worked there back in the mid 80's (just after they turned from Nino's) Anyway, when Diane Lazaris worked there and headed the kitchen the food was all good! I, myself know ALL of their original recipes! It was originally an Italian them menu and focused on "old school" comfort food as well. They had awesome brunches and did them every Sunday and most holidays. This was all under the owner-ship of Ken Rupena. (he even gave me the nick name "Arthur" as in Arthur treacher's fish n' chips, I was the one who made the fish fry every Friday) Now they have gone corporate and lost the old tradition they once had. read more

Staying the night here at the Clarion I decided I wanted a bite to eat. The big bowl Cobb salad was amazing! The salad was fresh and the amount of meat and cheese was more than expected. Even though the restaurant was in a hotel, the food was reasonably priced. I will definitely have this on my favorites list for the next time I am in town! read more

Have eaten here a total of four times in a few different stays at this hotel for work. Always pleased with the food. Spinach grain bowl is a terrific healthy option which is usually challenging when traveling. Tot nachos and salmon were also very good. The Wednesday night great brews deal is a terrific value. We went for Friday fish fry if that's what u can call it. Arrived prime dinner hour-not a soul in the place. Picked our booth. Waitress came finally. We all got fish fry and a drink. Then was told fish fry comes with two pieces of fish and fries-that's it for $14 each. WHAT? If I did not have a Groupon at that point we would of left. Got our "meal" and it was horrible! This place definitely isn't the most attractive place but I had a very good experience dining here. After my flight to NYC was delayed I was forced to spend the night at the Four Stars Sheraton hotel. This restaurant is on the bottom floor of the hotel. As soon as we walked in we were immediately greeted and told to sit anywhere we'd like. We didn't have to wait long for our waiter to approach us. We ordered the brown rice bowl and the salmon dinner and both dishes were very good, better than I actually expected. Our waiter was very friendly and attentive. We also had the warm apple tart for dessert which was good and big enough for two ppl to share. They also have free coffee all day which was a plus when we ordered our dessert. I'll probably never dine here again since I don't live in Wisconsin and wasn't a fan of the hotel itself but this restaurant pleasantly surprised me for being located in a hotel. I would definitely recommend dining here if you have no other options. read more
