I came here with my wife, daughter, mom, dad, & in-laws for a nice Saturday dinner on a warm May dinner. Luckily the patio was open & it was great weather plus we had a 2 month old with us so could make it easier to step out. Prices are a little steep for an area like Franklin/Greendale. Probably a "nice occasion" dinner than a once a week dinner. Anything with some sort of protein is at minimum $21. I got the Fried Perch Dinner. My dad got the Prime Rib. My wife got the Tenderloin Sandwich. The Prime Rib was massive, not awfully fatty but I wouldn't pay $45 for it but that is also bc I am frugal. However, if it was a special occasion then I'd splurge for it. Dinners come with a salad or soup, bread, potato, & zucchini & squash. This is alone why I didn't get one of the salads & instead got the fried perch. This was definitely 5* to me. Cooked great, great portions, & I love zucchini. I just think the cost on the whole menu is where I dock the point. If you're okay with $26 to $30 on a dinner then this is an A+ spot with high class decor & interior. I was excited to try Sandra's on the Park after discovering their connection to other local favorites. When I saw the location, I thought what a idilic setting to enjoy a Friday fish fry. On this particular Friday, we elected to sat outside and maybe should have known something was up when the hostess called us brave. Seemed weird but the patio was bustling with people all appearing to be having a good time. All I'll say is the website incredibly oversells the condition and setting of the patio. Online, everything looks well manicured and on point. In reality, their patio area is a mess. Weeds, both dead and alive are a plenty. Besides a few small hanging baskets, not many actual flowers brighten the patio space. Even the planters that were displayed highlight dead flowers. Oh what this space could be with a bit more attention. With regard to food, I ordered the perch fry. The pieces were so ginormous I mistook them for cod. I was assured it was perch. The breading was delicious and the fish flavor. The fries, sprinkled with Parmesan are ok. If I come back I may stick to the inside dining room since its decor outshines the outdoor space. read more

I'm 63 years old I ate a lot of good fish fries in my life usually beer battered but I ordered the baked this time for health reasons I had to write a review to let everybody know how amazing that fish fry was by far the best I've ever ate my life the fish was cooked to perfection the garlic potatoes were unbelievably satisfying the coleslaw and the tartar sauce were fresh and top-notch even the rye bread was outstanding. Stopped here for Mother's Day early dinner with the family. We sat outside since it was so nice outside. They have a nice outdoor seating area that backs up to a park like setting. Nice ambiance! The menu has a nice selection of items from steaks, seafood, pork, salads, and appetizers. I had the Mahi Mahi with grilled shrimp which was just ok. My seafood bisque was the favorite part of my meal. The Mahi Mahi could've used more of the mango salsa to offset the dryness of the fish. My daughter had their signature BBQ ribs. They were massive! This is my second fish fry in two week and as you can see from my first review that it didn't go well because my researched restaurant for a good fish fry was looking good but my order got screwed up unfortunate. It's a shame that it happened to a Yelp foodie who leaves honest reviews and pictures to share with everyone. The owner reached out to me for a second chance which I will always do for an updated review because everyone has a bad night so I agreed to do so. OMG the fish fry is outstanding even with my messed up order and getting not what I ordered with frys instead of potato pancakes, the frys were seasoned/battered and had a cheese sprinkle and very good and I'm not a big frys person. The beer battered cod is nice/tasty with a great batter and plump flakey fish meat. OMG the potato pancakes are not stupid hash browns but real tasty seasoned potato pancakes, good job because I love my potato pancakes. The rye bread is good but the tarter sauce and coleslaw is very commercial, I don't care because the fish and potato pancakes shine nicely. The owner wanted a second chance review to correct a missed opportunity with a guest and I'm totally fair so I agreed, the potato pancakes are really good and the owner is on point with correcting a bad experience. I'm not from Wisconsin and fish frys i don't do much but I think this will be my go to when I want one. Review for Sandra's on the Park We had a 7:00 PM reservation for four people. Upon arrival, we were met by a very stressed and unprofessional hostess who instructed us to sit and wait, as the bar was too full to stand at. Approximately 20 minutes later, we went back to check on our seating, only to be told -- rudely -- that we were never properly checked in. There was no apology, only more stress and attitude. We eventually found space at the bar to wait for our table. At no point did any staff member come to update us on how much longer we would need to wait. After 50 minutes past our reservation time, we were finally seated. Our waitress was kind but overwhelmed. It took an excessive amount of time to receive our drink order, and during our meal we had to personally go to the bar for additional drinks because the waitress was nowhere to be found. Our food finally arrived at 9:00 PM, two hours after our original reservation. The food was acceptable. The steak was very good, the ribs were average, and everything else was mediocre at best. After finishing, it took another 15 minutes just to have our payment collected. We did not leave until 10:00 PM -- a full three hours for what should have been a straightforward dinner. Throughout the entire evening, there was no apology, no acknowledgment of the poor service, and no sense that the staff cared about the customer experience. Sandra's on the Park is trying to build a loyal customer base, but with service like this, I fear they are setting themselves up for failure. Good food alone isn't enough; professional, respectful service is critical. I don't expect to be coddled, but when I have a 7 PM reservation, I expect to be seated by 7:30, have my meal in a reasonable time, and leave by 8:30. Wasting an extra hour and a half of my evening is completely unacceptable. I will not return and will be sharing my experience with others. If you're looking for a truly enjoyable dining experience and great service, I highly recommend you visit one of the more established restaurants in town instead. read more

Behind the patio was an odd yellow shipping container. The waitress's energy was muted but polite. She wasn't certain if a drink was sweet but didn't offer to check. Prices: Prices for food several dollars higher than other places. With more specialty items extremely high. Food/Drink: Beer- cold, came with a frozen pint glass. Many salad dressing options. Sandra Signature Sipper: good but ordered two and were different colors. Free tasty Parmesan bread. 4 large pieces. Calabrese chicken. Close to a Parmesan chicken sherry sauce. Potato actually mash potato with lots of garlic. $24. Since there is not many items less expensive, worth it. Grilled Walleye with shrimp. Big piece of walleye. Pico adds citrus. Super good. $30 worth it. Tuscan Scallop and shrimp trottle. Sauce is a light Smokey mac and cheese sauce. Scallops are cooked and caramelized great. Taste great. Maybe briney/salty. $43. My husband & I was celebrating my pre-birthday celebration w/ dinner on Friday November 19th; since we received a few recommendations for the restaurant. We made reservations ahead of time & only had to wait 10mins which was nice. The decor was unique, staff was friendly & the restaurant is a little on the smaller on the inside. We were seated downstairs & was overwhelmed by their fish smell which they were serving their fish specials on Friday's. Just a suggestion to invest in a better ventilation system to filter out the smells. Our waitress Courtney was phenomenal; she had great suggestions on drinks, food & conversations. She was friendly to everyone & made our experience special for my day. We order the walleye fish w/ grilled shrimp & side & Alfredo pasta w/ grilled chicken & seasoned vegetables. We were here for New Years Eve 2024 and we were early...only four of us early. We asked to not sit in front of the Bar as once before we where there and it was horrible to sit next to loud drinking people when we went there for dinner and could not enjoy it, so this time we we asked to sit over by the windows. We had ordered the ribs. Could NOt believe the price for a sm cold baked potato and undercooked ribbs. Other places have their meat falling off the bone with a hot baked potatoe. Being that it was before the heavy dinner hour we should have gotten a fresh start with it being made for the evening but we did not. So after paying for a bad dinner....we will not go back there. Not was the food delicious but the service was exemplary. Our waitress was so interactive and friendly. She made the experience that much better. I don't normally have dessert when I go out to eat, but I had to try it because it came highly recommended by our waitress. I was not disappointed it was fantastic. There are 2 floors and the top floor is a lot busier than the bottom floor. The waiter was really nice but I think she was overwhelmed especially because the food coming out kept being wrong. I overheard other tables and mine had a mistake too. I think the bottom floor could have used 2 waiters instead of one. Don't go to Sandra's for "Prime Rib"!!! I was really looking forward to a delicious prime rib dinner. I was going to go to a nice restaurant for dinner with my wife like Joey Gerards or Mr. Bs, but unfortunately we landed at Sandra's on the Park to give them a chance to earn our business one last time. They blew it! The prime rib was inedible and was allowed to be served to us. We waited 35 minutes for our first drink, when we asked to order another drink the waitress said "sure, what can I get you? Wait, did you get your, my gosh, I'll go get your first drink, sorry about that." We then ordered another drink right away in hopes to get one sooner rather than later. It ended up being 25 minutes later that we got that drink. The food came out aweful! Just gross. I wouldn't serve that prime rib to someone I hated. Just disgusting! Then when I asked for the manager he offered to make it right by paying for the meal that I didn't eat. Our server was great though. She was bussing all the tables she had because the bus person called in sick. I'm guessing they ate the food. Just an embarrassment for a restaurant to serve food like that and ask for the overpricing they expect. I feel bad for people who eat at this restaurant and think it's good food. Apparently the ribs are good, but then be a rib joint, dont try to sell high cost food that is inedible and fishy tasting overdone scallops and lobster. I've been to Sandra's a few times and have always had good food (the fish fry is awesome). This was my first time going during COVID and we made reservations and sat on their beautiful patio that was nicely spaced out. I don't even like salads but the garden salad with the house Parmesan poppyseed dressing - yum! The mango vinaigrette was also refreshing! I may have bought poppyseed dressing to try to mimic it at home ‍ The bread is so good and cheesy, I just wish I could have enjoyed more of it - #ketoproblems. For my meal I had the prime rib special. I thought it was a generous, flavorful and melt in your mouth cut and was a good value. My aunt had the bacon wrapped scallops which were also great! We had a 5 pm reservation for 2 on Thanksgiving evening. It also happened to be my boyfriend's birthday. Originally we got there and were told it would be about 10 minutes, but 25 minutes later and having seen 2 other small tables get sat immediately, and then being asked if we would sit downstairs I began to get upset. I told the hostess I did not want to be sat downstairs and that I was upset. She did immediately find us another table and we were greeted by our server. She was very loud and a bit much at first, but she won me over with her great attitude, enthusiasm and prompt service. The food was excellent and we were presented with a free piece of cheesecake either because it was a birthday or because of our delay in being seated, either way, it was delicious. The drinks were excellent and drink menu looks like it might be fun to explore. Crispy, crunchy, perfect temp on the fish and the house fries were delish. Cole slaw was average. Tasty fried perch meal as well. Five stars plus for the clam chowder. We appreciate the new ownership. Personable hostess and waitstaff. Would love to see a few new things on the menu. We don't get the appeal of the grilled Vienna bread... must be something the regulars request. We noticed several plates of it being cleared away untouched. But if it works for business, it works! Everything was amazing, the food, the staff and help they gave, etc. It set up exactly as we wanted, Katie was amazing and so on top of things all day, and Elisia was a great help and very sweet too. The guests were really impressed as well! We will definitely be back to visit! I've also had their fish fry which was very good. First time visiting this restaurant. Came here to celebrate my sister's birthday with our family. Made a reservation at 7 PM to sit on the outdoor patio. We were there on a Saturday night and when we arrived we sat at the bar inside to have a drink before our table was ready. They were quite busy and unfortunately only had one bartender working. That made for a difficult time getting a cocktail. The bartender was very pleasant and got to us once she had a chance. The outdoor space was beautiful. Unfortunately it was very buggy out that night and the mosquitoes were biting bad. I'm not sure if they bug bomb the patio but I would definitely suggest that. They have quite a variety of options on their menu from steaks, chops, chicken, seafood and pasta. I decided to get the porterhouse pork chop that night with a side of vegetables and a side of their Brussels sprouts along with a side salad. Everyone enjoyed their meals. I am conflicted with this review because the food was very good. However, it just wasn't the supper club experience we were looking for. We made a reservation and when we arrived we were relegated down to the basement. We specifically made a reservation to enjoy the ambiance and introduce a friend from out of town to supper clubs. We chose this one since they had vegetarian options. The basement ambiance was severely lacking, as was the attentiveness to the experience. We started with some drinks, all of which were very good. Then the goat cheese and the rib appetizers. Both were delightful! The bbq sauce on the ribs was delicious. Then we ordered our food...pasta, pizza, and a filet. Unfortunately, they were out of prime rib when we arrived but my partner did enjoy his filet. The soup was lukewarm when it arrived, bread was never brought to the table (until we asked when our food was served) and no steak knife was brought out with the steak. Overall the experience was a bit lackluster compared to other supper clubs that we have been to in Wisconsin. Like I said, the food was pretty good, and we really enjoyed the dessert. But hopefully they can work on improving the overall experience (again not sure if it's because we were put in the basement and the waitress also had tables upstairs, so the experience may be better upstairs). I absolutely loved everything about Sandra's On The Park! Hales Corners has really upped their game. It is now a destination hub for shopping and dining. Gone is the racetrack and all that comes with it. I joined a friend for dinner. She works in the area so with thought a little al fresco dining felt right. It was a beautiful evening and Sandra's patio is perfect. It's spacious with just the right touches. A mod wooden wall, interesting chairs and a huge yard area is the epitome of al fresco dining. The big old house vintage supper club atmosphere really adds to the quirky ambiance. Our service was equally wonderful. Our server, I think his name is Jeff, was training a young girl named Leah. They were friendly and professional and remained attentive our entire meal. The real gem is the cuisine and cocktails. The variety is huge. There are so many martini choices. I loved the Lemoncello! We enjoyed the Hand Wrapped Mozzarella appetizer, the Scallop Special and the Chicken Calabrese. The meal comes with their special Vienna Bread, soup or salad and potato. To finish things off we shared a piece of delicious Banana Butterscotch Cake. I cannot wait to return! read more

It's always been pretty booked whenever I have been to Sandra's, so especially at prime meal times/weekends call ahead to reserve. Although one time while waiting for a table to open up, we sat at the bar and had a couple drinks before we got a table for dinner.
