Went to Corkeys 1st time today Wed around 10.40 am Resturant was clean staff was pleasant and helpful we were seated rite away and we ordered coffee and a Wed special of 2 bacon 2 sausage eggs n pancakes also an omelette with ham onions n bell peppers. The food wasn't anything special the pancakes were rubbery the syrup was very thin eggs dry. Omelette had tons of onions and peppers, we asked n payed extra for mushrooms n cheese there were 5 pieces of mushrooms and a square patch of cheese the eggs were dry and overcooked. Our waitress was attentive but I would off prefered her asking if we wanted more coffee than just passing by and refilling my cup rite after I prepared it perfect and just drank about 3 sips Overall if you are hungry it's the place to go because the portions were big we could not finish it all but didn't take it becuse it wasn't worth it. read more

My first time at Corky's was a couple months ago, the food that I ordered was gross and just looked like throw up and it was so hard to get our waitress' attention. But since everyone deserves a second chance, I tried it again today hoping for something better but left the restaurant in such disappointment. First off, we were seated in a booth and we were waiting for someone to get our drinks. A group of people were seated a couple minutes after us and they got to order their food and drinks first before us. The waitress almost took off and ignored us until the other waitress told her that we were there first and that she should take our order. Second, she gave us our drinks and was in a rush to leave so she can serve the group of people next to us. Third, she gave us our food and the chicken fried steak looked gross, the gravy was too chunky. It looked like someone three up on it! The california omelette was filled with sour cream and only had little pieces of avocado! So much for a california omelette, it was more of a sour cream omelette. The chili cheese fries was soggy and it wasn't hot at all. She didn't give me a knife for my chicken fried steak and it was so hard to get her attention or even find her cause she was always MIA so I couldn't ask for one. The only thing good that we ordered was the strawberry milkshake. Lastly, our waitress didn't seem like she was interested in serving us. She was more focus with the people next to us that we got the crappy service we didn't deserve especially after a long day at work. I will never come back here again. Don't even bother to try this restaurant out. Such a shame that the only restaurant near me that's 24/7 is disgusting. read more

Tried Corkys for the first time and it was pleasant! The place seemed a little offset and uncozy when you first walk in due to the cement floors and lack of color but it was still a nice place. The hostess who sat us wasn't real friendly, she didn't smile, she just asked how many - grabbed menu's and speed walked to the booth, tossed the menu's down before we even got to the booth and said as she walked passed us she said "enjoy". Normally, hostesses ask how you are doing and how your day is going while leading you CALMLY to your table. So if anything that part of the experience should be improved. Our service at the table was great! We had a server named Stephanie; who was fast talking and brief but I popped a joke and she warmed up a bit:). After that she was a doll! It was our first time at Corky's and we went about 1pm. There was no wait but it was full inside. The atmosphere kind of reminds you of Marie Calendar's. We ordered steak & eggs (which was delicious), corned beef/hash (lots of hash browns & very little corned beef) & kids fried chicken (was very good). Overall the food was very tasty & fresh. Their pies are delicious & they even offer a "pie of the month" & you can order the entire pie for only $10. One of our favorites is the strawberry lemonade. Service is always fast & friendly. We love the wait-staff there because they always have on a friendly face. My only complaint about them is when we do pick up food to go, they ALWAYS forget something. It never fails. This review is solely on their breakfast , for the money you pay and the portion I think is pretty close to a fair deal . I see a lot of people complaining about the service but I been there 3 times so far and I haven't had a bad encounter yet . I had their pork chops and eggs and I was pleasantly surprised, I definitely recommend the home fries instead of the hush browns , I was not crazy about their biscuits and gravy but is not a deal breaker. The restaurant definitely has a very homey feeling with lots of random knick knacks on the walls and coffee mugs that people donate. The service couldn't be any better. Was seated almost immediately, was served super quick(wasn't that busy, which I am blown away by), and my waitress Nikki was super friendly. Had the 3 egg combo with biscuits and gravy, which was great! Pricing is pretty competitive with IHOP and Denny's, but the food is much higher quality. We honestly stop at Corky's about every time we have occasion to go past there. If we don't eat, we would take home bakery items (awesome), or meals to go. Yes, we are senior citizens, as are many of their other customers. It's not unusual to see them there (absolutely enjoying themselves). I am retired career military, and often find myself engaging in short conversations with others there. However, that said, their patrons are a complete blend of society from groups of workers stopping for lunch together, to young folks, and grandparents treating the little ones. Portions are generous, the selection is huge, service is excellent, lot's of parking, and waiting for you to come in and enjoy it! We completely concur with those 5 star comments to your right. A friend and I stopped by last week for a late dinner. The restaurant was not very crowded, there seemed to be plenty of wait staff but service was pretty slow. We ordered , she got breakfast, I got the pricey senior fried chicken. First off, the mashed potatoes were not warm, the gravy was brown gravy, like a beef base. What??? The chicken was ok.. But for a senior dinner , at an $11 price, I expected more than a leg and a thigh. I was pretty disappointed with the meal.
