Let me start by saying I am not a corndog lover, but my husband had cravings for these, so we decided to give Mr. Cow a try. We ordered the Mr. Cow Classic, Fried Potato, and Caramel Puff corndogs. The Mr. Cow Classic Corndog is a sweet and savory treat. The batter is thick, almost like mochi, which is quite different from the usual corndog batter. The Fried Potato Corndog is similar to the classic but is wrapped with bite-sized potatoes. The batter is still thick and mochi-like, which didn't quite hit the mark for me. The Caramel Puff Corndog was the one I liked the most, though it's not like a usual corndog and feels more like a dessert. It's sweet and wrapped with sweet barley puffs. My husband did get the mozzarella filling and not the beef sausage, which worked well for this. Personally, I prefer the traditional American batter for corndogs. I'm surprised that this place is rated 4 stars... I came in to this location on a Sunday, about 1:30pm or so, with my mom and my two kids. When we came in, there were 3 girls sitting at one of the tables waiting for their order of 3 corn dogs while one employee stood at the fryer watching them fry. My mom and I went to the counter area to check out the menu. My mom placed her order for a corn dog, and I waited as the employee went to drop her corn dog into the fryer, and then pull out the ones for the girls and finished off their order. She gave them their order and then turned around and proceeded to stand at the fryer and watch the one corn dog cook. I stood there, waiting for her to acknowledge my existence so I could order. That never happened, so I stood closer to the counter and asked if I could place my order, she continued to ignore me. Ummm, okay... don't know what the issue is, but that is some absolutely terrible customer service. It takes almost 10 minutes to fry one corn dog. At one point, she alerted my mom that it would be 2 more minutes for her corn dog to finish, and still hadn't bothered to take my order. At that point, I told my mom that she'd probably finish eating before I even get to order my kids food. My mom then went to the front and told the employee that if she wasn't going to take my order, she'd like her money back. So guess what? The employee gave my mom her money back! She clearly didn't want me to order the 3 corn dogs that I was going to order for myself and my kids. Not sure what this girls problem was, but cool, you'll never get my attempted business again, and I will let everyone know about the terrible customer service. The food was good as it usually is, but the service was terrible today. I usually come around morning, and it's usually between either the 2 girls with similar features and height at I see often, one had glasses. These girls were my favorite each time I come in they always welcome me in and are very nice. Today I decided to come in during the afternoon around 4-5pm. I didn't see either of the girls but it was another lady with a hat and a little taller. She wasn't very nice with taking my order, it was almost as if she just wanted me to leave. Went in today about lunch time and this was not it. This is my 2nd time there and i dont think ill be back. The 1st time I went there was a girl in a hat whose name was ivon I think, and her attitude was just so off-putting. She didn't greet me, didn't offer any kind of assistance and just overall felt like she wanted me to hurry up and get out and it wasn't anywhere near their closing time. I just chalked it up to her maybe having a bad day, it happens. Fast forward to today, I go in and the girl at the register in the red sweater was really nice! Very pleasant and helpful. I'm thinking okay, good, way better than last time. I don't know what was going on but the girl in the back, the one in the yellow shirt, same girl from the first time I went in, starts getting loud and starts yelling at the girl at the register! In front of customers. Idk, it just really rubbed me the wrong way. Unprofessional and just outright made me want to walk out. Both times I've been there that girls attitude is just straight up terrible. Very interesting! Had to try at least once! It would have tasted better, I surmise, if you eat it hot! I placed my order online and the 15 "dogs" were ready as they said . . . However my order was wrong!! As double-checking the items, some dogs were the wrong type. So... stopped in yesterday and not only did their name change... BUT THEIR ENTIRE MENU. I usually order over the phone cause I know they take a little long. I ordered my usually potato dog and Seoul classic and they were like... "do you mean the holy cow?" I was a bit confused. I just said yes because I didn't want to be difficult. And then they ask what sauce, they offer honey mustard, ranch, and sweet chili. I'm a saucy gal so I wanted all three, but you can only get one sauce per hot dog. I was very surprised. For their sugar options, they have regular and powdered. And they no longer have their seasoning powder. I forgot to take picture of the dogs, but I'll be back to try their other items. We drove all the way out to Two Hands in Ewa Beach (soon to be named Holy Cow Hawaii) and got the: - Two Hands Dog: Sprinkled with their special signature seasoning and sweet ranch sauce - Potato Dog: Potato cubes wrapped corn dog with their special dirty sauce (like a buffalo hot wing sauce) We got the best of both worlds by turning them into the half mozzarella and half sausage on the inside. I highly recommend eating them fresh (in the car or on the way to the car) so that you can get that perfect cheese pull effect and then finish it off with the dog. Not to say that it doesn't taste just as good when you get home an hour later...but if you're like me, can you really make it home (without eating it) an hour later? I ordered the #6 Injeolmi dog with the yellow bean powder on the outside, while the bff got a #3 Spicy dog. However, you can get the hot dog as a standard or upgrade for half cheese and half dog too for less than a buck. They are located next to Little Cesars in the Ewa Beach shopping center. This was my first time to Corndogs by Mr Cow. What a unique concept. I can see why especially children and young adults love this place. Fruity pebbles on a stick of fried cheese is genius. You can order cheese or a hotdog with a fried breading over with a bunch of toppings. I tried the fried cheese with sugar and it was delicious. Kind of like a malasada with cheese inside. Their is also a huge selection of Dipping Dots. I have never seen so many flavors in one place. Dipping Dots is a cool treat. It looks like little pieces of candy but nope it's ice cream. Even though I don't usually like spicy/hot food the spicy mayo and Flaming Hot Cheetos weren't overwhelming. I really enjoyed the varying textures. I also had a bit of what my friend ordered which featured barley puffs. It wasn't as sweet as the menu leads on and I liked the barley puffs too because of the texture they offered. I had high hopes with all the good reviews but sad to say this place is all hype and no bite. Got the "HolyCow" classic hotdog with the half & half mozzarella/hotdog filling. Both food and service is low quality. The young girl working the counter has absolutely no personality when mechanically responding for suggestions. The batter, sauce and cheese is the best part that helped mask the junk hotdog flavor. The menu means what it says: "half & half filling" means you literally get only 1/2 of a hotdog on one side and the other half of it is just cheese which costs you $1 more! The 100% Beef Sausage "filling" actually means just a whole plain hotdog "with no extra cost" (no joke! it says that on the sign). The drinks are just canned sodas. I wasn't sure what to expect as I had not checked out the reviews prior to going. Was exploring Ewa for other reasons and this place was one of the stops. The strip mall here has plenty of parking which is nice and so different from town. The store was empty even though it was close to lunchtime. Got the spicy dog. I didn't understand that you choose the filling. So you can get all cheese or cheese plus sausage which I guess is extra. I thought these were hot dogs which is on me. I ordered the mozzarella. It was basically a delicious very large fried mozzarella stick. The coating was sweet and spicy and to me tasted like a honey sriracha sauce. The people with me told me that flaming hot Cheetos tastes like this. The cheese stick starts to fall from the chopstick it's on so eat it carefully and quickly. It was very delicious and I enjoyed it. However, I am learning that large amounts of deep fried things, especially cheese, are a bit of a gamble for me. Suffice to say I was glad that Ka Makana Alii is close by and Macy's allows the public to use their nice clean bathrooms. While it was tasty and I don't blame them for me GI intolerance, I think maybe I won't be back since really I shouldn't be eating this processed fried foods with colors and flavors that remind people of flaming hot Cheetos, which I've successfully avoided eating. read more

Little more on the sweeter side but it works so well! The crispyness of the outer layer, the savory and juicy dog inside, the light sweetness and consistency of the condensed milk in the outside. A. Must. Try. Think I ate it in 30 seconds? Haha. Potato Dog: As soon as you take the first bite, you're pretty much hypnotized. and that hint of spice from their sauce added with the softness of both the batter and the crunchy outside of the potato, you kind of feel weakened...in a good way! The sauce I couldn't find out what it was but super yum and all goes good together. My hubby picked up some corn dogs last night and it was quite an experience. We enjoyed all 4 corn dogs and our girls devoured the holy cow (plain corn dog). They outside is very chewy and somewhat sweet but goes well with the hot dog. I had the flamin cheetah and it was really good. It does have a kick but it was so good. My husband really enjoyed the potato one and he'd definitely get that again. Surprisingly, the condensed milk corn dog was not bad. First off it was sooo wrong of me to think "ah all Korean hot dog places are the same". And don't judge this place because it's located deep in ewa beach. This place is BOMB! Service is quick I phone ordered it and it was ready to go when I got there. good quality food. Also the packaging is great for take out - it really helps to keep the food good and not all smashed and gross. The hot dog has almost a smoky flavor to it almost like Costco hot dogs. The outside is so light and crunchy. I didn't even eat it right away - had to wait almost 45 minutes and it was still good. I have to go back and try it fresh. I am totally going to drive back here. I think it is much better than the places in aiea or town. The pricing is also a little less and I really like all the different combinations that they are capable of. Tried the classic, two hands and the rice one. Best overall is the classic. Too bad they don't have the cheesy mustard sauce - if they did it would be perfect. I noticed that there was something gooey/dough-y and assumed it was just mozzarella that had melted down. However, I soon realized that it was not mozzarella and that the batter was actually undercooked. I removed the batter completely off to see if it was cheese, but it wasn't. It was undercooked batter. I'm unsure if the dough was undercooked all throughout the corn dog or just at the bottom portion where the sausage is. First time trying this place. It came up on my Yelp suggestions and decided to give it a try. It wasn't hard to find, it's in the same shopping center as Long's and McDonald's. Next door to Lil' Caesar's. The menu is pretty self explanatory. Basically choose your outside flavor of breading, then choose either a sausage or cheese for inside. The only side they have is the Tteokbokki. I asked the server to explain the #6 Injeolmi to me, and all she said was, "We put condensed milk on it." I wasn't sure what the yellow bean powder tasted like, which is why I asked. I ordered it anyway without further inquiring. I ordered the #6 with mozzarella cheese. It was good, it had the condensed milk drizzle and the breading was kind of sweet and the cheese balanced out the sweetness. It was like a desert dog. The hubby got the Spicy Dog which he said was good and not too spicy. We both got the Two Hands Dog but his had sausage and mine had cheese. Very good, this would be my go-to if I went back again. The kids had the Seoul Classic which they ate up quickly. Overall, good tasting food. And reasonable pricing. Probably good for a lunch or a snack. This spot just opened up a week ago according to the staff. Located in Ewa Beach near First Hawaiian Bank and Little Caesar's in the EB Shopping Center. I had the half mozzarella and sausage dog in the Classic, Potato, Two Hands and Spicy. It was cooked perfectly. Be careful as you take that first bite cuz it's cooked fresh and hot to order. The staff was friendly and made some suggestions so I decided to try 'em and it was a winner. The only problem is which one do I eat first. I will definitely come back for more! read more

I was driving through to go to the postoffice and noticed this place. It's been around for about a month from what I was told. I love corn dogs and food on sticks so this was a pleasant surprise. I got the Seoul dog (number 1). It was pretty good. The only reason I am giving them a 4 and not a 5 is because the fillings weren't integrated. I got half cheese and half sausage (hotdog). They did show that one would be above the other, but it would taste even better if you could get the cheese and hotdog all in one bite. You'd probably have a much thicker dog though if that were to happen. The combo or sweet crunch outside with the cheese and hotdog inside was pretty darn good. Would have never thought to put sugar on it. I'm excited to try the others. I'll keep trying the different kinds and update this as I got. Most likely it will become 5 stars Im a sucker for them. Staff were nice and the menu is pretty straight forward and simple. Can't beat straight forward options. read more
