Both were sizable and very tasty. If getting here was easier I would prefer it to Panera but the entrance and the traffic do make it less appealing. Hoping for a quick and easy snack and coffee for my day. Unfortunately, that was not the case. While the small line went fast it seemed I had the cashier that really didn't want to be here today. I asked for a bacon avocado bowl minus the spinach. She said they were premade. So i just quickly deleted that idea and ordered a large iced vanilla latte. She punched in on the order and then asked hot or cold? I repeated my order once again. Once i paid she went to make the coffee. What i received was a medium iced hazelnut latte. I let her know that my drink order was incorrect. And that I had ordered large iced vanilla. She then said "well we don't have any vanilla left". This is fine - standard fare, reasonable prices, etc. I was in town staying nearby for a conference recently and had breakfast here four days in a row - oddly, despite the fact that I ordered the EXACT same thing four days in a row (I am a creature of habit, shut up), the price was three different amounts. I have to say,I was very disappointed on my last visit to Corner Bakery. I decided to try the Caprese sandwich, with fresh baked bread, mozzarella, tomato, basil, and balsamic vinegar. It was served very dry! I actually thought the cooks forgot the balsamic. I asked for balsamic vinegar after eating a bite, as I couldn't taste any. The waitress informed me they did actually did add some. She brought me some extra dressing and it was much better. I had the Caprese sandwich a couple of years ago and it was SO GOOD! I'm not sure what they did with the recipe, but it's not the same now. My sandwich was soooo dry. I shall not return for another. read more

I thought this cafe was just OK. I was in Atlanta for a quick work trip and stopped in to have breakfast and work remotely. Every egg dish can only be made with scrambled eggs which makes me think they do not use real eggs. I ordered the bacon avocado bowl which was just average. The eggs still freak me out a little. Coffee was good though, and so was the service. I'm not used to the southern hospitality - my waitress gave me a hug upon delivering my food. So sweet. read more

As pictured, I ordered the mozzarella and tomato sandwich. Typically a great combo, the bread felt dry and very bland. My girlfriend ordered the tuna salad sandwich which was dry and did not have much flavor. Overall, Corner Bakery Cafe is good if you want quick cafe style food, but not good if you want to experience Atlanta's culture. read more

Came here for breakfast on the way to a post op dr appointment. Had a really good breakfast sandwich and the truffle mocha which is a chocolate lovers dream. The person who brought it was the sweetest person. Without knowing just made our day just gave us hugs, and well wishes for the day. I was raised by a shopaholic hoarder. As such, I understand the importance of securing an appropriate level of nourishment prior to a day long retail binge. That being said, Panera is typically my fast food venue of choice while visiting Lenox Square Mall. However, this past weekend, in a flagrant showing of culinary adultery, I decided to ascend the escalator and try Corner Bakery Cafe instead. In the end, the visit left me ashamed and disappointed, but confident that I will never make the same mistake again. Food: The menu at Corner Bakery Cafe is comprised of mostly healthy fare, including salads, soups, chili, sandwiches, panini, pastas, and baked goods. During my visit, I opted for the Harvest Salad, which I was initially pleased to see offered in both a "cafe" and "entree" sized portion. I ordered the cafe portion, but added chicken for some additional protein. On the menu, the salad allegedly consisted of crisp green apples, toasted walnuts, blue cheese and currants. There was also a claim of an accompanying fresh baked focaccia roll. However, what arrived was two meager apple shavings, one toasted walnut, four bleu cheese crumbles, and a handful of raisins that I presume qualified as the currants. The monstrous concoction was topped with three insulting slivers of chicken and a rock hard wafer of focaccia that tasted like it had been festering on the shelves for weeks. Service: The service was friendly and quick during my visit. Upon entry, you place your order and are provided with a number that's displayed at your table. The food is then brought out to you shortly thereafter. I waited less than 5 minutes for the order to arrive. Atmosphere: The restaurant itself is clean and welcoming, as is the seating area located in the main mall corridor. However, they do serve everything on plastic plates, which was surprising considering the price point. Cost: Overpriced, particularly considering that this place is a chain. For the most part, the prices are consistent with Panera, but the quality and quantity of the food offerings are noticeably inferior. I ended up paying $10 for a side salad and a fountain drink. Other: Corner Bakery Cafe admirably posts the calorie counts for each item on its menu, which is the sole reason that I've spared it from a single star review. read more

My wife and I celebrated our anniversary by staying at the intercontinental. We came here for breakfast for the selection and to avoid the crazy prices at the hotel. I got the tomato mozzarella sandwich (very fresh and flavorful) and my wife got a bagel with coffee. The staff was very friendly and even gave out free cookies to everyone at 12:00. I want to give this place more stars, but I can't. The parking situation is great, their food is delicious, great variety of items on the menu with calorie counts, and the staff is super friendly. The woman who brought us our food gave us a hug. The downgrade in rating is due to the fact that they just couldn't seem to get their act together when it came to our order. They gave my boyfriend the wrong entree, nearly forgot about his pastry until he went up to counter to mention it, and when I ordered an iced coffee drink the woman thought I wanted a hot chocolate. When I clarified what I actually ordered I got the coffee drink but it wasn't iced. Considering this place is no cheapie McDonald's there's really no excuse for that much error. Came across the street from the Hyatt during a convention, intentionally early to beat the crowds. It was a little pricey (panini and a drink was $10.46) but it looked good. My boyfriend's food came out fine, and then the crowds started in. Half an hour later, I have to go ask about my sandwich. Apparently it had never been put in. No apology, just "It'll be out in a minute." Ten minutes later, I finally received my food. I ordered a club panini with no tomatoes. I received plain bread, toasted with cheese and turkey. No mayo or bacon. By this point, I was hungry and had to leave soon, so I ate my meal. But I am unhappy about paying $10 for bread, meat and cheese, as well as the customer service. But the craziest thing that happened was right before the waiter gave us our food, out of nowhere I get this huge hug that I almost jumped out of my chair. It was quite unexpected to say the least. The lemonade was a bit too sour for my taste. The food isn't extraordinary, but def gets the job done. I had eggs, bacon, and a fruit cup. Pretty basic food. The real vip of this place is Yvonne. Addie is a lifesaver! We order catering for our office and had extra people join at the last minute, so we had to order extra food. Addie helped during the busy lunch rush to get us 10 more sandwiches and 7 more pastas. The food was delicious especially the chicken salad and the tuna salad sandwiches which are fan favorites. The pasta was hot and the pesto cavatappi was cleared within 10 minutes of putting it out. We will definitely be using their catering again for our office meetings. It's really convenient to be able to order online. Ordering for catering has to be three hours before delivery time which is very good for last minute orders. read more
