I had a very solid burger experience at Corner Burger. The food was good, great outdoor seating, but the service was top notch and the best part of eating here. Decor-small interior and not much to write about. A few tables outside to take in the SoCal weather. Service-the lady behind the register was wonderful. She was kind, energetic, and very invested in her job. She was great! Food-fries were nice and crispy. Burger big and loaded with bacon. The patty was well cooked and the cheese, onion ring, and bacon made it a good eating experience. I was not particularly crazy about bbq sauce. All in all, good experience and would definitely come back.

Omg the burger and fries were so yummy. The veggies were fresh and crisp and the bread was buttered and toasted to perfection. This place is also just so cute. We sat outside with our dogs and enjoyed the quiet view. There's a cute library right across the street with a bunch of grass area so we walked our dogs after our meal. There's service was also amazing. The workers are so kind and accommodating. We are definitely coming back here again.

This is a good little spot to try what tastes like homemade fresh burgers, which is what you want. The service is a little slow, but that's OK especially if it's been made fresh to order. Inside is a bit small again, which is a major issue. It's a good burger nothing over-the-top. Glad I had it at least once.

Was in the area and was craving a burger, so I searched up the nearest burger, location, and found this little gem. It is absolutely 10 out of 10. I got the southwestern burger. I don't like my hamburgers too spicy so they went easy on the jalapeños, but it was delicious. All the product was so fresh and the Customer Service is really amazing. The young lady in the front helped me out and the gentleman cooking asked me after. How did I like it! It wasn't too busy, but they were definitely not overwhelmed. I can see this being really busy during the summertime. Definitely going back.

The 3. Classic with Bacon & Cheese Burger with fries and jalapeño ranch.

My all time favorite restaurant and burger joint to visit. The ambience is small and a hidden gem for sure. The food is always fresh and hot ready to devour. My family and I visit corner burger at least once every other month and we cannot get enough of their food. They make a delicious breakfast meal. The staff is always friendly and very passionate about the burgers they make. You can tell it's made with love. I wish everyone in the southbay gets an opportunity to try this place out!

Small burger joint ambiance. I had always seen it and finally decided to try it out. The b-fast burrito is delicious. It's a big burrito! Loaded up too. Service was good. You walk up order and they bring it out. I went @ 11 on a Sat and the turn around was quick. When I was eating though the line got crazy and that does affect the turn around a bit but def worth it. There's a line for a reason. Going back to try a burger soon

Placed an order for delivery, asked for sides of salsa on all meals recieved one. Ordered coffee that was spilled in the bag and had to clean/wipe everything down. Pancakes came with no syrup or butter. And then as my husband was eating his sausage sandwich which had little to NO sausage he bit into a metal piece which looks like whats on the end of a sausage roll package. Very disturbing. Have gotten burgers from here many times and was pleased. After this we will never order again. Especially when we paid over $100 for our entire order.

Food Went here on a friday lunch with coworkers. As a sucker for blue cheese and caramelized onions, i got the blue boy burger and when i was asked on the donensss of the burger, I said medium rare. I also decide to indulge a bit on an oreo milkshake. The burger itself was more on the medium side but it was fine as it still tasted delicious and was pretty juicy. I loved the sweetness of the caramelized onions with the pungent saltiness of the blue cheese and all of it was complemented by the oreo milkshake. An overall guilty pleasure of a meal. The oreo milkshake was just right too as it was easy to drink, wasn't too frozen and wasn't too melted Vibe/Ambiance Once inside, they have this small kitchen diner vibe. There is only a few seating options inside and a few outside seating as well but not a lot so expect to possibly have it to go. We were a large party of 7 so we ended up taking all the outside seating. Overall, i like the small diner vibe of the place and would definitely come back again

Absolutely delicious! I ordered a Blue Boy which is a regular hamburger with bacon, caramelized onions, and blue cheese. I ordered the combo which comes with thick cut fries and a Diet Coke. My mom once got a haircut at the hair salon next door, so I knew this place was popular. I walked in on a Thursday at 12 pm. I had ordered over the phone and my order was ready the moment I walked in. The place is small and clean, but has plenty of seating inside and out. There were only two diners eating outside with a mostly empty inside. It seems like a grab and go spot because they were taking plenty of phone orders. My food was warm when I opened it. They ask how I want my patty cooked so I'm assuming it's fresh (it tasted fresh!). I found the burger to be deliciously gooey with blue cheese and plenty of sweet, warm onions. They gave me ranch for my fries which was so perfect--a great balance! Cool ranch with strong, sweet blue cheese. The waitress was so polite and professional. I am very impressed. I enjoyed this place and plan on returning.

Just found this hidden gem! It is located in a little corner so it is easy too miss, but the burgers are so good. Smash burgers are in right now, but these are some thick juicy burgers. The meat was seasoned perfectly and the toppings complimented it well. The chili cheese fries could have used a bit more salt but I liked them. The food was made fresh and it was ready in 15 minutes. There are 3 ladies in the little kitchen and they are moving! There are only a few tables inside, but it wasn't too full.

They "Cook to Order" meaning it's a fresh made burger that also can be done "Medium Rare" nice and juicy n' tender, as opposed to many places that does "Medium to Well Done" only, serving dried tough patties. The "double meat" second burger patty is only $3 more, which is a way better deal than the "Drink and Fries" upgrade meal combo, 'tho it's "free refills" on the soda. I'd do the extra patty, even if it's either to share with someone else or take home. This is in a nice part of Lawndale near the court house and library that's super awesome and easy to find parking. The service here was very friendly and it's also fast to eat, with indoor or outdoor seating options too.

Browsing Yelp for a nearby burger place, I stumbled upon Cornet Burger and looked at their menu. It looked good and also the pictures I glanced at all were a good sign. When I got there around 3:45pm, Sunday afternoon, a few guests were sitting outside enjoying their meals, another good sign. When I ordered a nice girl, I believe her name was Monica, helped me with my order. She was very efficient and very nice. She was very detailed in taking the order and covered everything. How I wanted the burgers cooked, what type of cheese I wanted to ketchup, utensils, napkins. She was very very good. The taste of our burgers, cowboy and classic with bacon and cheese were excellent. The burgers cooked to perfection . The chili cheese fries were delicious. Definitely Corner Burger was an excellent choice.

Great place to come for a burger. I like to get the "devil" burger which I'm not a fan of the name but it is a spicier burger. Everything is fresh and the burgers are huge! It does run a little more money because everything is purchased individually but it is well worth it. You will definitely be full and go into a food comma after finishing off a meal from here. Nice little local spot to bring friends and family. read more

Did not enjoy this burger. This is my 4th time at Corner Burger and the first time - a year ago maybe - was great. Everything was good. Sunday's (7/20/2014) trip was, well bad. The bun tasted old and stale. The burger itself was good - the fries were good. read more

My bf and I yelped this place and decided to give it a try since it was so close by. There were 3 workers behind the counter, two males and one female all very helpful and friendly. They seemed to know the whole menu and even recommended things to us that would save us money as well! My bf ordered some western bbq burger with sweet potato fries and I ordered a chili cheese burger with extra chili cheese and regular fries (don't judge me it was a cheat day) anyway both were amazingly delicious. Great burgers and excellent friendly service will definitely be back!!! read more

This is by far the best burger place I have ever been to! To start, the service was AMAZING. I told one of the employees that it was mine and my girlfriend's first time here and he jumped at the chance to recommend great specialty burgers and add-ons. The people that work here are genuine and go above and beyond. Not to mention the food itself is so good, with great quality and fresh ingredients you can taste. The "Blue Boy" is now my favorite and I will be a recurring customer from now on. read more

Was looking for a bug juicy burger, and boy did I find it! Got the Breakfast burger, and oh my, easily top 3 burgers I've ever had if not the best. Fluffy and buttery brioche buns, a fried egg, perfectly cooked thick bacon, swiss cheeses and 1000 island, all on top of a massive and thick patty. So incredibly juicy, grab extra napkins or it'll run down you arms. Usually I stay away from sweet potatoes fries because they are hard to do right. These were perfect, crispy, crunchy, sweet and salty. This place is a hole in the wall, but very clean with plenty of stainless steel countertops. Friendly service to boot! read more

Saw this place on Yelp and decided to try it before we headed to the airport. BEST last supper before leaving California!!!! So delicious and filling! Great fries as well! All for a pretty cheap price considering how much food you got. Definitely a great stop! read more

One of the best burger places I've been to. I got the Blue Boy Burger and it was so big, I was too full to eat my fries and had to bring them home. The sweet potato fries are really good too. I liked the way the place looked. It's small and cute and the outdoor seating was nice. The owner is really friendly and tries to get you whatever you need. read more

The chicken selects with the fries are good the fries were fresh and good the customer service is kinda Ok but not great they rush u to order! & and the prizes are very expensive!!!! A combo is like 12 bucks and without the soda like 8 bucks I was like WOW! I'll take my own drink.!!!!!!!! read more

Was introduced to corner burger a while back through a friend. This place is a small burger joint but don't let that fool you. Their burgers will beat you up. There's an endless amount of combinations to make your own perfect burger. I personally recommend their southwest with fried egg topped with jalapeno ranch and sweet potato fries!! One the best burger places I have ever been to, the food is amazing. My preferred burger is the Cowboy Burger, it's really good with its smokey bbq sauce, golden crispy onion rings, melted cheese on top of the pattie that is cooked to your liking, and complimented with your choice of sweet potato, or regular fries. The service is amazing, Corner Burger always satisfies and never disappoints!! :D read more

The variety and quality of food was great. We tried the burgers, salads, quesadillas and the omelette and loved it, but the BEST part was the amazing SERVICE! We had a couple people with dairy allergies and the chef made a special sample of his mango strawberry smoothie just because. We'll be back again soon!!! read more

I went to this place twice. The first time, my burger was tasty. Then, I went second time and ordered a Blue Boy burger and I didn't like it. My cousin also got a burger and he didn't like it. The service was okay. They used to offer dipping sauce for onion rings but not anymore. I guess if the price was cheaper (two of us spent $24) I would have given a 4-star but at $24, I am not sure if I will go back. read more

I used to love this place, but went Sat Sept 21st, they open at 11 , Really??? didn't order till 11;15 as they were not open. The burger is NOT what I remember, the bun was twice the size of the burger and the burger had NO Taste at all. Won't go agiain. read more

OMG! I couldn't wait to to tell anyone who would listen about this place. I am not a frequent red meat eater but ever so often I love a GOOD hamburger! When I decide it's time for a little red meat, I want really delish or I'm truly ticked off. So in my search for the best burger in Los Angeles area, I have found a few places, but Corner Burger is now right on top of my short list. I stopped in a few days ago and ordered from the owners. ( they took over ownership about 5 weeks ago) They were lovely people-friendly and helpful-shout out to, I think Monica and Gilbert? I love blue cheese, but I didn't want to veer too far from a "regular burger" my first time there, so I ordered the classic cheeseburger with cheddar cheese. (choices, american, pepper jack, swiss etc) Okay folks, when I tell you it was exactly what I wanted for my red meat splurge-oh my. The bun was soft and perfect the meat was fresh(no frozen hockey pucks here). They cook to order medium, medium well etc. Awesome. Nothing worse than overcooked meat. I also ordered caramelized onions. They also make fresh dips for fries. I decided to add mine to my burger. There is a chipotle and a too die for jalapeno ranch. I'll keep this review shorter than it appears to be going and just say this place is a must when on the hunt for a good burger in LA. I don't think you will be disappointed. read more

By far best burgers I've had! Normally get the Cowboy burger, have tried a few of the others and so far have liked each one I have had. Very clean eat-in area, attentive and cheerful staff, great prices and options. Typically order once a week if not more. Have not been disappointed yet, keep up the excellent work! read more

Smh...all I have to say is in-n-out is a better option. Fries=flavorless. Burger=carnival standard (nice looking bun though). Price=you can get two double combos for the same amount... never coming back and I live right next to it...smh read more

This is Definatley 1 of the BEST burger places in LA County; and 4 sure the Absolute Best in Lawndale by far! I went recently, and it was the 1st time I had such Excellent quality food. They serve u right 2 your table better than a lot of full service restaurants. They Really go out of their way 2 make u feel @ home and Comfortable. I highly Recommend this great place. I had a cheeseburger with caramelized onions and pepper jack cheese, holy sh*t. One of the best burgers I've had in a while. I'm still eating as I'm writing because I couldn't wait to express how awesome this burger is. Tears of happiness fell from my eyes as I took my second bite. Shakes are good too. Staff is so nice. Food was perfect. Overall great experience! read more

I'm extremely happy that this place is rated the way it is, since it very well deserves it. Normally my girlfriend is the one to leave reviews on any place we eat but this is long overdue. First of all, there is not one day where we do not get greeted by our names and with a smile since almost my entire family comes here so often. My dad probably eats breakfast here more than home! They also never miss a single detail or request and are okay with anything you ask for. Definitely my favorite spot to visit! read more

It was nice finally getting to sit down and enjoy the food fresh. I ordered the mushroom burger with chili cheese fries, and both hit the spot. The burger was juicy and loaded with flavorful mushrooms, and the fries were a great, hearty side. The fries portion was also huge so it was great to share as well. The service was smooth and convenient. You can order either at the register or through a kiosk, which I liked since it shows pictures of the food. Very helpful and accommodating and a super reasonable minimum spending amount. We had around 30 people and it never felt cramped. A bunch of our friends have come back on their own since, which says a lot. And yeah, the beer. It's that good. There are a lot of strong breweries around here, but this one hits different. The Hazy Lil Daisy IPA is a go to, and their seasonal and themed releases are always fun and creative without sacrificing quality. They also make it easy for non drinkers to feel included with solid options like NA seltzers, sodas, and juices (which works great for my wife)!

I went back inside and tried to get someone's attention at the service window, which took a little while. A friendly employee attempted to locate my order but couldn't find it, so he called over another staff member, who I assume was a manager. Unfortunately, the interaction wasn't as pleasant. He repeatedly asked for my name, even after I had provided it several times, and eventually informed me--somewhat abruptly--that another delivery driver had taken my order and that I needed to contact "the company I worked for." After clarifying that I wasn't a delivery driver and had ordered the food for myself, his tone changed. He contacted Organico, and they agreed to remake my meal. My pickup time was supposed to be 1:00 PM, but my replacement order wasn't ready until about 1:35 PM. As for the food, I ordered the tuna salad. I love beets and was excited about the combination. The salad was good overall, but the flavor profile wasn't what I expected. There was a very tart, vinegary element that caught me off guard. The brussels sprouts tasted more pickled than caramelized, which wasn't my preference. I'm not sure if that was intentional or if the remake affected the preparation, but the vinegar flavor was quite strong. I also ordered the iced salted caramel latte. It was okay--not particularly memorable--but the double shot of espresso definitely helped me get through the rest of my workday. Overall, the food was decent, but the pickup experience was confusing and frustrating enough that it overshadowed the meal.

Talk about a hidden GEM! Corner Burger is just that! Tucked slightly away from the main street of Hawthorne Blvd, this place is probably only known by the locals of Lawndale (and foodies who have a knack for sniffing out great places to eat). Corner Burger is literally on the corner. It's not very big, but they do offer dining both inside and a few tables outside. The place is never really crowded when I go, which suits me just fine since I really don't want to wait in long lines. The decor is pretty cool. Red bricked walls, cushioned stools are lined around the outside of their U-shaped stainless steel counter. Kinda has the same look as a 1950's diner or a Johnny Rockets. A large LCD TV is mounted to the corner of a wall for your viewing pleasure. The menu is rather simple, but complex at the same time. They basically have burgers, fries, and shakes. But the customization options for the burgers are quite abundant. Choose from what size burger patty you want (1/3 lb or 1/2 lb). Then choose what type of meat (beef, turkey, chicken). They may even offer veggie patties but I don't recall. After that, you select from a large list of free/premium toppings (which I will not list to save time). Or, you could always take the easy approach (like I usually do) and select from one of the custom burgers on "The Best" menu. I've tried just about all of them and they're all delicious. But I must say my favorite is the "Blue Boy Burger", which consists of caramelized onion, bacon, mayo and blue cheese. Top this off with a brioche bun. Yes, I'm salivating as I write this. I bring my kids here all the time. One awesome thing they offer that is NOT advertised on the menu (at least, not at the time of this review) are sliders! Mini burgers that are the PERFECT size for kids. And they only run about $2.50 each, so this is quite money-saver for me. Each child gets their own burger (so no fighting over sharing). Throw in a side of fries and I can feed all three of them for about $10. Maybe even throw in a chocolate shake for good measure and I've got 3 happy kids. They people who work here are really cool and laid-back. They always ask how everything is tasting and whether they can get you anything. I really can't say enough about Corner Burger. High quality burgers, nice decor, awesome service... what else could you ask for? I recently had the pleasure of visiting Corner Burger for the first time, and I can confidently say that it exceeded my expectations! Located in the heart of Lawndale, this gem of a burger joint truly stands out. My friend and I opted for the #3 cheese burger with crispy bacon, fully loaded with all the fixings. From the very first bite, it was clear that these burgers were cooked to perfection, and they were served on a delightfully toasted bun that added an extra touch of deliciousness. I can't forget to mention the fries--they were simply outstanding! Just take a look at this picture; it captures the essence of a classic 50's diner experience! We arrived early on a Saturday morning, around 11 am, and although parking can be a bit challenging, luck was on our side, as we found a spot just around the corner. Keep in mind that on weekdays, you might need to walk a few blocks to find parking. Unlike the more recognized burger franchises in the area, this place is far above and beyond. If you are aware that quality costs, you won't mind paying a couple of extra bucks for a gourmet burger that is delicious, juicy, and flavorful! The regular and sweet potato fries are crispy and sooooo tasty, but besides boring ketchup and mustard, the many different dipping sauces (garlic mayo, Louisiana ketchup, jalapeno ranch) take them to the next level! This is one of my favorite places to have burgers in Los Angeles. The burger is os juicy, but not too juicy where it is impossible to eat without making a mess. The cheese is so perfectly melted onto the patty. The crunchy lettuce and pickle with the soft sesame seed bun. The french fries are absolute perfection. They have the perfect amount of crunch, the perfect amount of softness. They have the perfect amount of salt. The service and the staff here are phenomenal and you couldn't ask for better. Terrible customer service, charged me for a bacon cheeseburger combo to get down the street and realize they didn't put bacon on it. They charged me for ranch didn't get ranch. Took the burger back for the lady to open the burger with bare hands to only heat up bacon and put it back on the same burger. Still with NO gloves!!! Didn't remake fries or anything. Hidden gem. Went here with my wife and the service was very helpful. I got the cowboy burger with onion rings, bacon, and cheese super flavorful! My wife got the chili cheese fry's they were delicious! They make their food with love, recommend this place. read more
