    Spinach and Cheese Empanada

Fantastic, delicious Spinach and cheese empanada. I've had spinach and cheese empanadas everywhere I see it offered. This one is great. It's quite a hearty serving, it's meal if you pair it with a small side of fruit or small salad. It's juicy spinach and cheesy. Took an extra hone to eat later, warm up in microwave and dry pan sautéed to crisp the pastry. So good. What a delicious way to eat my greens. Will be back again and again!

I really love their empanadas. I am of Chilean descent and really enjoy the food. Whenever I am in LA I have to stop by and get at least a few empanadas and some of their yummy pastries. Definitely a must try!

I ordered the beef ($4.59), chicken ($4.59), and ham and cheese empanadas ($4.59); a papa rellena ($6.99); and a mini cachitos ($2.29). I liked the ham and cheese empanada because it was buttery and flaky. Unfortunately, I was disappointed by the beef empanada and the papa rellena because they were sweeter than I expected rather than salty, and the dough was just plain. The fillings were quite meaty and they did provide good chimichurri sauce. My husband had the chicken empanada and said it was ok. The mini cachitos was also just ok. This was my first time having Chilean food so maybe I just prefer other flavors, like Filipino empanadas from Red Ribbon or Josephine's and papa rellenas (potato balls) from Porto's. I was hoping a small hole in the wall place would be nomz and less expensive, but I had the opposite experience. The service was polite enough albeit not necessarily friendly.

Great for some cheap but tasty eats! We come here for the freshly made alfajores but they empanadas are also great. Next time, I'll try one of their sandwiches also.

Quick stop for Chilean style empanadas on the way to the beach. I lived in Chile during the 80's and this the real deal. So many empanada wannabes lately. The ' pino' which is filled with sautéed ground beef, onion a raisin some hard boiled egg and mostly spiced with cumin is tasty. These are good for later and even rewarded. The fried cheese empanada are great but are meant to consumed promptly. Once a fried cheese empanada has cooled the magic is gone. Heating up and frying my order took about 10 minutes. Star off? They forgot to put in the bread I also bought.

This place is delicious and truly authentic to Chilean food. My whole family still lives in Chile, except my father and I, and I'm always looking for ways to remember the delicious food of my family. The empanadas de pino are DELICIOUS and the cheese ones are also so good. The cheese empanadas have a beautiful, flaky and buttery exterior that is true to the empanadas of Chile. They have all the Chilean pastries you can imagine, from alfajores to brazo de reina. Don't forget to grab a delicious Inca Kola with your meal this place is truly comforting and a slice of heaven in a small corner of a shopping center. Thank you Rincón Chileno!

My 1st time here, Empanadas were good, I wanted to order off the menu but couldn't because they don't have it or won't make it. So I ordered 2 empandas, chicken and beef, plus some corn dish, which total $25. I ended up running next door to Polo inka to get lunch because this place couldn't fill my order. Anyways, the staff was friendly, the prices were a little high for what I ordered. Will come back for their Empanadas. All good.

The people I know who have been to chile say it's "legit." I haven't been to Chile, and I think it's good regardless of accuracy

Food: I had regular sized Phoenix chicken sandwich. The shaved chicken with the Phoenix sauce was very good and the meat, cheese, topping ratio was well done. The bread is a massive plus as Dutch Crunch bread is awesome for sandwiches since you can stack a Sando and not dislocate your jaw biting into it as the bread is not overly hard to eat. it was a good solid sandwich. Service: Great order counter service which the team member was friendly and helpful. Great preparation of the sando by the team. It was delicious and the Dutch crunch bread was a good amount of crunch without being too hard that would rip open the roof of your mouth. I love the vegetable mix with it that included roasted peppers, pepperoncini but the Melrose spread was a tad bit much where it just oozed off the sandwich paper wrap. The sauce was good but a tad bit excessive. The staff was very nice but the food took longer than expected. Maybe that's because of them making it fresh but it seemed a tad bit longer than I expected for a non busy time I went (11am). Atmosphere is just your "fast" casual with outdoor seating which be nice when it doesn't become too cold or hot weather wise.

I love a good hot sandwich, and this one might be one of the best I've had. The marinara tasted super fresh and just pulled everything together perfectly. Also grabbed a lemonade and it tasted like it was freshly made. So refreshing and the perfect pairing. Parking isn't the easiest (meter only), but that's pretty expected being so close to the beach. My brother raved about this spot and I was craving sandwiches so I offered to pick us up lunch after he recommended I stop here. I wasn't prepared but big advice: bite with caution. Their focaccia x ciabatta hybrid is certainly unique/delectable, but near took out the roof of my mouth with my first bite. Once that pain subsided though, I can see the texture appeal in these sandwiches. I got the Calabrian Turkey which was served with sharp thick slices of Hooks 1 year cheddar, and hefty iceberg leaves. I was thinking these would be great sandwiches to take to the beach- they really hold up. I was just bummed that my brother found his BLT disappointing. I read off all his mods verbatim: light mayo, add onions (extra cost), and they were crossed off the order ticket, but the main call-out was that it came drenched in mayo (and a side of mayo provided as well, ha)...so maybe big modification people this isn't for you. Shout out to the giant brown butter chocolate chip cookie with sea salt or whatever it was on display that was so irresistible to my eyes...and actually tasted how it looked. Spent a pretty penny here but understand the location (along with difficult parking) probably warrants it. My Diet Coke can was $4 but somehow the cup with ice the cashier offered me made it feel more luxe. ;)
