This is my fourth time moving and it has always been a hassle. But as I've been getting older and accumulating more antiques, it's been getting harder to move from house to house. Unfortunately, the owners of my last house were selling the property and gave my husband, roommate and I a 60days notice to move out. Remembering how hard it was before we decided to get movers and this is our first time getting movers, but we are very happy with this moving company. There were some stuff that was delicate (like antiques) and they even wrapped it for us and put cardboard and plastic wrap. We were very surprised on how careful they were! Ali, Bula and Bain did an absolutely phenomenal job in moving our belongings to our new house. They were very courteous and very professional in everything. Our belongings were handled with the up most care and dedication. Very good communication also. There were times where my husband and I would move boxes to make it easier for them to move around and they offered to move it for us. They even helped us bring in an item that we had on our truck. I've used dependable movers in the past and they were affordable but I tried to book them recently for another move as a return customer and was treated as a new customer. Also came in higher than any of the other comps in the area. The intake was pretty frustrating. It was a ton of questions, reading off of a script, no sort of cash discount, kept trying to upsell me on insurance, it just didn't feel very personable and they couldn't use the information that was already in the system. They had to take down all of my information all over again. It was just not a good phone experience and then when I told them that I wasn't interested at the moment because the price they quoted me over the phone was exponentially higher than the others in the The area. He then continue to persuade me and sell me on their services and their business model and it just felt very pushy. read more

I don't even know where to start with this review! Ali and Dauka were such amazing movers!!! EXTREMELY DEPENDABLE!!! I am beyond lucky to have them help me move this time around. I've worked with many moving services in the past before, yet I'm still amazed by how fast and efficient both Ali and Dauka were! Their total move time was even way less than the estimated total hours of move when I first spoke to Dependable movers about scheduling and cost! I ended up having more boxes and furnitures to move than originally anticipated, yet both Ali and Dauka were completely fine with moving them all, and not only did they did it on record time, but they also handled so many of the bigger furnitures with love and care. I have a decades old coffee table in the living room that I was worried would not fit through the door without some grating through the door frame, but Ali and Dauka did an amazing job fitting it right through the narrow door, with the table wrapped in cloth. They even managed to somehow get the table down the flight of wrap around stairs without crashing into the banister, which has been the trickiest place to navigate for everyone who has lived in this building and has never escaped scathing the banister a few times during their moves. They came ready with their roller equipments to move the boxes, and one thing that I was worried about was scratching the wooden floors in both the old apartment and the new house that I was moving into, but Ali and Dauka were so miraculously gentle with their equipments that there were not even a single scratch mark. I don't know how they did it, but I'm so thankful because I'm a renter and was afraid of paying for any damages to the flooring or building. When they arrived at the new place, I had concerns that the narrow flight of stairs in the yard leading up to the house would again present a new challenge- but I was again amazed by their capacity and speed at getting it done. I don't know how they did it but I think this is what happens when you work with extremely skilled movers- I practically didn't have to do much aside from telling them what goes where! Both Ali and Dauka were also extremely attentive to things that even I had forgotten needed to be moved. They double checked every item in the too and I was reminded that there were a few boxes, a table and two dressers than needed to be moved. Because they were stored in a different room, I would've forgotten them if it wasn't for Ali and Dauka- they saved me from having ti schedule another move just for those! Aside from being very fast, professional and efficient, they were also very personable, and I felt very at ease letting them do the moving without having to direct them much! I had to leave my apartment for a bit to run a quick errand for 15 minutes, and when I came back, they were practically done! To give you an idea of the magnitude of what I had to move, there were a LOT of boxes and bigger furnitures, that overall would've taken about 4 hours to move out of the apartment. Ali and Dauka did them in 2 hours. That is FAST!!! They are so smart and reliable, and for someone who hasn't had great experiences with some movers in the past, I was completely blown away by what they were able to do! If I need to move again in the future, I would love to request to work with Ali and Dauka again. They were the best of the best, and I would like to also recommend them to my friends who are looking to move in the future!! Thank you Ali and Dauka! The two weeks leading up to this move day has been nerve wrecking and stressful, but I am so so glad that you all ended up being my movers cuz it wiped away all the moving anxiety that I had, and I can't thank you all enough for your amazing service!!! The guys work hard and did a good job except they didn't take the washer and dryer. I was also taken back by the $200 for 4 boxes and bubble wrap to wrap two mirrors. Apparently, the estimate didn't include this so no hidden fees is not truthful. There is an emergency # and they don't answer and the voicemail is full. I have contractors coming to remove water damaged flooring and the appliances were the reason this move was required. This was an insurance claim and the cost was more for one room than my entire home move I did in March. And the lead person said he didn't have the inventory list that was provided when he showed up so he wasn't aware of what to move. This shouldn't have happened and I would not expect this from a reputable company. read more

I can't believe I found movers that are worth the money. I've always been so disappointed after being given a cool decent price but then up charged or had things broken afterwards. Ali and Bain were communicative, hardworking, pleasant, and punctual. It's a hard job and I didn't feel like I was ruining anyone's life with all my junk and weird house location. This was my first time moving by myself (my family and friends have moved to the Sacramento area) and I didn't have anyone to help me move this time around, so I hired movers for the first time and was very nervous. Ali and Mamur showed up exactly on time and were extremely fast and efficient, even helping out my now former roommate moving some heavy things while they were there loading up my stuff into the truck! All of my electronics and my TV (which I forgot I no longer had the box for!) were packaged with care and consideration, nothing was scratched or scuffed. They were also very pleasant and personable, reassuring all of my worries and answering all of my questions. Ultimately, they got everything done with care, under time and budget compared to the estimate and were a joy to interact with. Also I really liked that, unlike a lot of the moving companies from San Francisco who I got estimates from, they were completely unconcerned that I was in the East Bay, because Dependable Movers is situated on Treasure Island and would have to cross the bridge anyway, no matter where they were going. First Sasha in the front office was very attentive, helpful, precise, always updating in the move to the final day- that day was today when the crew arrived at 8:42am with a 26 ft'er with a van back up. Yelaman, Buyan , Aidos , Bulat  we're artist in maneuvering the boxes, tubs heavy furniture- lots of stairs. Yelaman was the team  leader. This was the "A" team. They were.  Clear Communicators, worked in Harmony with eagerness and care.  Watching them made me tiredOur move involved a second stop at the storage unit an amount of boxes, tubs furniture equal to what the already loaded earlier. Masters of physics and finding every knock and cranny to fit everything in. The van was for overflow. All during the day this A team, lead by Yelaman were always positive positive. This was a tough move with a 3 hour trip to destination and then unloading and heading back to headquarters. We trusted them, felt we were in professional caring hands that only want the experience to be positive. Yes I will recommend them . You must get a quote. Finally, they are cost efficient. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! We had booked a mover weeks prior to our San Francisco to Nevada move, and they ended up falling through last minute. I read some wonderful things about Dependable Movers so I reached out hoping they could help us with our last moment request. I talked with Gulia and she couldn't have been more kind and helpful. Gulia and Bauer did a virtual walk through our place via FaceTime, so they could give us an accurate estimate. Three days later, Dependable Movers showed up and executed our move. We were lucky to have Sergey, Nic, and Adaham as our movers! It was not an easy move because we lived on the third floor of an apartment building that does not have an elevator. After five hours of packing up the apartment, they drove to Reno (hitting some traffic) and unloaded upon arrival. I think they finished the move around 10:45 pm and had to drive all the way back to the Bay Area. Through the entire move, the guys were really efficient, friendly, and professional. I change my mind about this annoying company now that I have the free will to write my own review without them watching me. After you pay them 800 dollars to move your stuff, they pester you over and over while the move is still continuing, that they need you to submit reviews for them. They are extremely pushy and I certainly will not be using the company again. Reviews and tips are not meant to be begged for; rather they are a reflection of the service given. To be begged to tip each mover $100 is laughable, considering my apartment was a studio and they only moved half a truckload of stuff. Their company clearly cannot be bothered to pay their staff fairly, if apparently all they are thinking about is how much the customer would tip them.
