What a rare gem of a place. I came in with a broken bumper and a plastic piece hanging on the bottom of my car that made a scratching sound every time I drove. I went to two other places that quoted me outrageous prices that I just couldn't afford right now. Pedro took a look at my car and was honest with the diagnosis. He said he can provide a fix for me that should keep me safe and him and the owner spent an hour on my car fixing it up. When I asked him the cost he said nothing! I tried to at least tip him but he wouldn't take it. What an honest and compassionate man. With so many dishonest body shops out there just looking to make a buck this place is a true and rare gem. Cornerstone Automotive is now my place of choice for any auto repair, oil change, tire service, etc. for both of my vehicles! I just moved to the area and went there for an oil change on each car and had fast friendly service with good information. I then went there the other day for a leak and they identified the problem from a previous waterpump replacement by another automotive place. It took them some time and taking things apart to identify this issue, but in the end gave me all the information, didn't charge me, and told me to take it back to the original repair place to have it fixed under warranty. The cashier didn't wear any kind of mask or face covering which is a No-No in these times of the Rona. This is especially concerning because there were multiple senior citizens coming to have their car serviced. I've had my car in Cornerstone 4 times for an error code on my car costing over $1000. Each time within a day after receiving it back, the same problem returns. Now the 5th time, I am being told it's another error code. I have had my car exactly 4 days in the past month and a half. I could have gone to the dealer and paid less with the problem corrected correctly the first time. I am very unhappy with Cornerstone and will never return! read more

I've been taking two vehicles to Jeff for over four years. I have never experienced a more professional and more honest auto repair business. On multiple occasions Jeff would delay service on my vehicle that I asked for because it was not needed yet. Who does that? First of all don't be confused, there are two U-Haul independent dealers across the street from each other. I placed an order for moving boxes online through the U-Haul website but stopped at the wrong site to pick them up, the staff at Cornerstone Automotive (U-Haul Neighborhood Dealer) could have directed me to U-Box across the street when they couldn't find my order in their system but they proceeded to fulfill the order while assuring me that my credit card would not be charged for the online order, I found out later that my card has been charged twice (Once for each business), I also realized, adding insult to injury that Cornerstone Automotive charged a higher price for the same boxes. read more

They've worked on several of our cars and while not cheap, they have done great work, and have helped us decide on whether to use factory repair parts or third party products. We have been taking our cars to Jeff at Cornerstone for more than 3 years. Let me tell you why: (1) Quality--everything he has ever done over the past 3+ years has been quality workmanship, (2) Convenience--he makes the whole experience as easy as possible from location to loaners and ease of scheduling, (3) Pricing--has always been fair and quite frankly less than we were paying at the dealer for the same service, but MOST IMPORTANTLY (4) HONESTY. It's very difficult to find someone in this industry whom you can trust. The integrity of the people at Cornerstone has been a wonderful rare commodity in an industry that fails to pass the honesty test all the time. Regarding the other two reviewers, I have no idea about "No Defensive Weapon" signs. I have NEVER seen them there in 3+ years and I looked the other day especially for them. As a supporter of all the Bill of Rights our Constitution provides, I wouldn't refuse the emergency room at the hospital just because of signs. To judge an establishment's workmanship with minimal stars when one didn't even use the service is let's just say "not the American way." And regarding the U-Haul comment, there is no other U-Haul dealer across the street anymore. That one went out of business. Perhaps the blame was misdirected. I don't know. But I DO KNOW by 3+ years of experience and satisfaction that my 5 star rating is REAL and TRUE and actually reflects the excellent service I have had from Jeff and his team at Cornerstone.
