Coronado island is so quiet, peaceful and refreshing. We popped in here for a wine tasting. I ordered the white wine flight and we tried the hummus and bread with oil and vinegar because they are known for their oils. Everything was delicious. I loved the Sauvignon blanc! If I didn't only have a carry on I definitely would've wanted a bottle. The service was great and I definitely recommend!

Great laid-back location to partake in wine flights following a day of work in the SD area. I opted for a white wine flight, as I was seeking refreshment, while my colleague opted for red. We had a bread snack which was offered w the wine. We shared banter w our pleasant bartender Terri, and chatted about sailing w the "owner man". Great place to peruse the wine and hard liquor selections, as well as the adjoining Vom Fass selections of olive oils and vinegars. I must say, I bought a travel friendly balsamic vinegar and made a spritzer today to sip while working. Delicious.

My husband honestly just stumbled across the tasting room while we were roaming around the Coronado pier area. He wandered in so I followed of course lol. Such an amazing place, they have a whole wall dedicated to whiskeys as well as so many other alcoholic beverages. I'm personally an Espresso Martini girl so when I found some coffee drinks, I got excited. Even more excited to hear that they actually use it in THEIR Espresso Martini! I enjoyed that while my husband got a flight. Our server was truly amazing and so attentive. She helped my husband choose which whiskeys he wanted in his flight. We ended up taking a couple bottles home to enjoy too. Going here was honestly the highlight of my birthday trip that weekend. Highly recommend for a date night or girls night/ hanging out with friends.

Loved this place on coronado island. Came in on a Saturday night, party of 4 and waited about 30-45 min. Lots of places fown the way to kill time at. Had their appetizers and a few beers which we loved.

A really neat tasting room in a beautiful location at the Coronado Ferry Landing. The tasting room is shared with the Vom Foss next door, so we did some oil & vinegar tastings first. We both chose a glass, but they have flights & tastings too. We decided on two of their menu items to snack on - pretzels & bread w/oil & vinegar. The gentleman helping us gifted us an additional oil & vinegar, they're seasonal orange spice - it was delicious!! We enjoyed a casual & relaxed hour or so sipping, snacking & chatting. Everyone was very friendly & kindly answered all our questions.

Really liked the four 2 oz tastings of red wine. They were all very good. The Cab was my favorite with the house blend my second. Velvet did the white flight and liked them all. Her favorite was the Sauvignon Blanc. Great location in San Diego harbor. Great service.

Upon entering the Coronado tasting room, we were barely acknowledged. Despite our efforts to ask questions, engage, and be polite, we received the same indifferent response. We purchased two flights and tried to buy bottles of wine, yet the service remained unresponsive. When I asked to use the bathroom, I was told there wasn't one available (despite seeing an employees-only restroom) and was directed to a public bathroom across the street instead. Normally, I wouldn't complain, but my experience left me feeling unwelcome. I hope no one else has to go through this.

I love this place so much. The prices are so reasonable for Coronado. I came in this last time while the boat parade was going on and they had festive hot cocktails and mulled wine. They sell really nice oils and alcohol and the inside is very clean and welcoming. Staff is very knowledgeable and friendly.

A hidden gem in Coronado. No I came across this place after needing a break from shopping in some of the stores in this place. There is plenty pf parking but the lot gets busy at times. It's also close to the shoreline. Nice location. They have a wide variety of small batch whiskeys, burbons, etc. They also have a variety of wines along with a variety of knick knacks. They also have a bar with some cool drinks. They have a drink menu for you or they will make a drink recommendation based on what you like. They are very knowledgeable about everything in the store and behind the bar. I ordered the Old Fashion. It was nice and smooth as it should be. It was what was needed after some retail therapy. It's the perfect place to hang out while you are waiting for your loved ones to do their shopping. Everyone was very nice and welcoming. Good vibes here! I will definitely come back to have a drink and buy some of their small batch bourbon. Make sure you stop by and give it a try!

Bob was so personable and gave us great service! We came here in our day trip to Coronado and enjoyed the wine and the location. Brittany from "Curious Juniper" syrups was there and giving out her delicious samples to go along with some of the wines. We had the sweet sips flight and I loved the glass holders and was happy to have "Jam Jar" as one of the wines to sample! It was a wonderful treat and definitely recommended :-)

    Great wine and full bar!

This time around, it was just the 3 of us, to chat over some wine and apps. Had their April featured Pinot, which was amazing (had 2 glasses). It's good to keep in mind that they only sell their flatbreads on certain days and unfortunately, they didn't serve it when we went. So, instead we had the crostinis, which is perfect if you want a little bit of everything, but not sure what to get. My friend got the chicken Caesar wrap, and it was a lot bigger than expected. As far as the ambience, there's seating all around the bar that's located in the middle. So it's convenient to just walk up to the bar to place your order. Servers and bartenders were friendly and quick. Overall this is a great laid-back place for small or large groups.

First, I still really enjoy the Carruth Wine Garden. It is nice to have an outdoor space to drink wine right in the center of the city. In general there plenty of parking ,and it is dog friendly. As far as the wine, it is very good. I like some more than others. More recently, I have enjoyed the Unicorn Red Blend ( a longtime favorite) and the Syrah. I love that it is dog friendly, inside and out. My dog loves going there and she makes friends each time. A change that they made recently is that the main garden area is now child-free, which was a positive change in my options, as it had gotten a bit chaotic in the past with children not being very well supervised. The still have a family-friendly outdoor space. In the past, there was always live music when I came. I was there most recently on a Saturday evening and was disappointed that there was no music. Also, the prices have gone up ($18 per glass). Unfortunately, I found the pours to be somewhat inadequate, though it depended which staff member was pouring the wine. They do not allow for outside food, and only make certain dishes certain days of the week, which unfortunately doesn't allow for many options if you are hungry. Water is readily available inside and outside. All in all, it is a lovely place with good wine to come with friends and your 4-legged friends. It has gotten a bit pricey, and I do wish we could bring out own snacks, but I still enjoy going and am sure that I will be back.

They have a lovely wine bar staffed with welcoming baristas and a lovely outdoor patio, and are situated in a little suburban neighborhood just off the 56 at Camino del Sur. She told me that the baked goods were from O'Brien's, that they have live music most weekends, and sometimes host food vendors to offer patrons their wares. I have turned all my friend's onto it & I am so thankful to have such nice & kind people running this winery. They have always been so generous with their pours & they have always figured out a way for me to get my hands on my favorite wine. I also visit this winery when my family participates as a vendor during their craft/vendor fairs a couple times a year. I bring my daughter with me & sometimes a friend of hers & we always have a really great time. I have been here several times, well, more than several times. Though I am not a member, I sure feel treated like I am a member. I have attended & held fundraisers here & I have been here for live music or just a quiet place to have girlfriend talk. I love that there are different things happening different days, but it isn't overwhelming like other wineries that get so incredibly busy that they lose their charm completely. I appreciate Koi Zen for the zen it brings me. I would 10/10 recommend if you are looking for a place to enjoy wine with friends and/or family. Looking forward to my next visit, even though I just walked out with 3 bottles of my favorite wine tonight! Lisa & Darius & their staff are all great & deserve all the kudos. They all work really hard. With love, The birthday girl
