Stuffed Dates
Leslie B.

My friend and I found Corsica because we had been waiting at a nearby tapas restaurant and realized that it was going to take forever. So thanks to a Yelp search, we ended up at Corsica. It was pretty busy on a Friday night, but we were told that a few customers did not show for their reservation so we lucked out. The hostess was friendly and gave us the option of a booth or the bar. We chose the bar. Corsica has almost what I would call a modernized vintage decor, with high ceilings, brick walls, and interesting light fixtures. It was kind of a stylish warehouse. Upon being seated, we were greeted right away by the bartender who took our drink orders. I chose the Wolfpack, a salty and sweet bourbon cocktail, and my friend chose the Tiki Baby, a tequila cocktail with fruit flavors. Both were delicious and meticulously made. We ordered about four tapas to start with. They honestly came out almost too quickly, which isn't necessarily a bad thing, but they came out even before out cocktails were prepared. They did get one of our items wrong, but corrected it by allowing us to keep it at no charge. The food was great, but I liked some items more than others. The stuffed dates were probably my favorite. I was slightly disappointed in the caulini, as it is wasn't as flavorful as I would have liked. Despite the food coming out quickly, we didn't feel rushed at all. We sat for a long time, and ordered more drinks, and a couple more tapas. I felt very European, as we ended out meal with wine and cheese. All in all, I very much enjoyed my meal at Corsica and would definitely go again.

I loved this place so much. Stopped by for happy hour on a Friday and it was such a vibe. Great music, staff were so wonderful, happy hour drinks were abundant. Good food options for happy hour but honestly even the food options not on happy hour were really affordable. Cannot say enough good things about the focaccia. I could have eaten ten servings of that bread and butter. Saw a lot of people getting the sangria bowls and honestly that looked like an amazing time. Will absolutely be going back to try that out.

Very cute venue, little Partió area with umbrellas, and bathrooms available. Easy street parking. We got wine and tapas and staff was super friendly and helpful. They gave us wonderful recommendations and I don't think there's a thing we got that we didn't liked They don't have wine flights but they do half pours so we just made our own little flight. Great wine selections and knowledgeable staff

If I was visiting Denver again this is the FIRST place I would stop!!! I still dream about the rigatoni Bolognese! (Didn't take a picture) It's by far the best thing on the menu! I love the style of this restaurant. The vibes are so modern and chic and the wine selection is incredible. I split a bottle with my sister and we had the best shared dishes !

Corsica is inspired by its namesake island, as evident in the Mediterranean feel. You will feel as if you are whisked away to Europe to partake in the aperitivo, with its many apéro and small plate offerings on the menu, aperitifs, cocktails, and an extensive wine list. I highly recommend going on a Sunday as it is currently Half-off Bottle Day (EVERY bottle) since their site restaurant, Barcelona, won an award. My group of four went to enjoy a bottle of wine for my birthday after brunch. Our server brought me a slice of their almond cake for my birthday. It was devine. Super moist, with distinct notes of citrus and rosemary. The crème fraiche frosting was the perfect hint of sweetness. We were so relaxed in the setting and treated well by our server that one bottle extended into two, and we ended up ordering some small plates. The vinegar potato chips were a definite favorite for the table with the garlic aioli. The meatballs came with plenty of sauce and were served with five in each serving. With its outstanding hospitality, Corsica is a place I will visit again, hopefully in the near future.

Fantastic find! In finding a place for some wine, we ended up finding this gem of a place that has so much more. You know you're at Corsica when you see the multicolored building with fun painted designs on the outside. Sundays - half off of all bottles of wine. The wine menu is pretty dense as well, so ask for suggestions. The servers are very helpful and extremely knowledgeable when it comes to vino. We went with a french white and it was excellent. Corsica also has an Italian style menu. They have just added a couple of large item plates but the majority of the menu are small plates, tapas style. It was amazing and I can't wait to go back and try a couple more! Highlights of the small plates were the vinegar potato chips with the garlic aioli and the mushroom arancini. Also ordered was the meatballs and the fried ravioli. All very good and can be split easily among a party of 4. Our server was so kind to us and even sent a birthday slice of almond cake to the table for the birthday girl. Highly recommend this venue in Five Points!

What an awesome option for happy hour. We grabbed a seat on the patio and were the first to do so for the day (admittedly we wanted to sit at the bar but it was full) so they were super attentive at giving us an umbrella and taking our order. The drinks are SO cheap we ended up grabbing both of the carafe options at $10 each. The food options were fine, we didn't love the lamb dolmas we got but I think we just may not be dolma fans and these were probably solid options for this. Service could not have been more personable, attentive, and friendly. Parking in the area is super easy. Would definitely be a regular here for happy hour and would love to come back for dinner.

Corsica is a very modern and hip spot to dine out to for a date night or with friends. I love the bar but this place can get very busy. The first time I went with a resy and we still ended up waiting over an hour for our table. The host was so amazing and attentive. He sincerely felt terrible for our wait and ordered us a lot of apps on the house. I've returned a second time and a group of 4 and we got to try additional things. Corsica is a tapas restaurant. I think some items are a little over priced for the portion you get, especially the protein options. Some of our favorites were the whipped ricotta bread, meatballs, cauliflower, steak, and potato chips. The drinks here are great!

Really fantastic vibes at this spot. The food is delicious as well. Perfect spot for a date night or small happy hour with friends. This spot is creative and fun. Everything we tried was delicious, the cocktails were a highlight as well as the Barbajuan and rigatoni bolognese.

We went on Friday for a date night and didn't move the place. I will say the mushroom arancini was our favorite of the night. Our server was very night but we left feeling forgotten about and not able to have any conversation due to the loud atmosphere We were sat right away in the middle section, my husband watched the kitchen during his meal and I was stuck between listening to the neighbors tables date and the weird foursome next to us. We could barely hear our server. The music was so loud it caused everyone to talk loud and we could barely talk to eachother. The whipped ricotta toast sounded great on paper but the bread was SO INCREDIBLY HARD it was almost impossible to eat. I feel like I need a trip to the dentist after that for a chipped tooth or something. The first few dishes came out pretty quick. The barbujan needed a meet or something. It was straight cheese. The mussels were good, wish there were more. The bolognese felt like the noodles needed to be cooked more. After we finished our first round of shareable, we ordered a 2nd order of arancini... this took 20+ minutes to come out and we just felt forgotten about by that point.

Went back since my first visit (apparently they're under new management) and had an amazing experience! I was shocked by how good the food was. Especially the tuna carpaccio and rigatoni bolognese. Of course the wine and martini was great too. Perfect atmosphere for a date or girls night.

Such a great atmosphere inside and all staff were extremely friendly and knowledgeable! Food is served via small plate style which allows you to try a variety of different items. Our favorites were the tuna carpaccio and the roasted carrots with tahini - both had wonderful complex flavors! There is also a great selection of wine, cocktails, and spirits. Would definitely visit again!

My daughter and I recently enjoyed a wonderful dinner at Corsica. The atmosphere is very warm and inviting, with an industrial vibe featuring dark wood and exposed bricks. The dining spaces are divided, giving each area its own charm. From the team behind Barcelona Wine Bar, this latest RiNo restaurant pays tribute to the French Mediterranean island, offering a fantastic selection of tapas, wines and cocktails. Everything we tasted that evening was delicious, and the service was perfect. I already can't wait to go back!

We loved the ambiance, feeling like we'd really discovered a gem off the beaten track, pun intended. By joining the club, it was a monthly excuse to plan a special night out to what became one of our favorite places for date night. It's been a couple of years now, but we had occassion to meet the owners, when we mistook their closing time for an hour later. The lights were still on, so we didn't realize our mistake, until they'd already invited us in to exchange our monthly growler with such warmth. Super nice people, reflecting the vibe we always felt on our other visits. The staff echoes that disposition, always friendly and knowledgeable. Though the winery isn't on-site, I've always been impressed with their tasting experience. I've now been a member for over 5 years, going in at least once a month, and they still suggest trying seasonal options and have broadened my palette... Though my ex and I have parted ways for a long while now and he moved away, he's kept our membership current, calling it my "alimony," and a nod to remembering the good times we had together. I recommend Bigsby's for all the good memories for all the folks, be it a lazy summer afternoon on the patio or a cozy evening in the lounge area with a glass of red when it's cold outside!

I came in right behind a table of four and while…read morethey were sat immediately, the staff member walked off and I stood there for at least another five minutes without being acknowledged. Then when he did acknowledge me and I stated I would sit at the bar, it took several minutes for the bartender to acknowledge me. The staff was busy speaking to each other and doing side work. Once I was acknowledged, things started getting a little better. When I arrived during breakfast/brunch, I was informed they were in the middle of a menu change, so my choices were limited. Breakfast items include bacon and burritos. I started off with a charcuterie board (though I had asked for a fromage board). This was not only because I wanted some tasty cheese, but I was trying to kill time until the lunch/dinner menu started. The board was a great board, two different meats, three cheeses, a loaf of bread, some nuts and jellies. But it was 40 dollars! I had a few small plates (which was still a lot of food). I had a melon and cucumber salad, which was a good palate cleanser. I also had the roasted king mushrooms, which were underwhelming with no seasoning, and they were a little chewy. The best thing was the wild boar meatballs, which were seasoned really well and in a savory, delicious marinara sauce. All the cocktails were fruity (but not sweet) and refreshing. I had one that was carrot based (Kiss my Carrot with tequila, cointreau, carrot, orange, and ginger), one that had pineapple flavor (paper boat with rum, falernum, aperol, lemon, pineapple), and the smoky smoke and flower (hibiscus mezcal, cointreau, pama, rose water). This spot is a winery, so they have a large wine list. They have handhelds like burgers and flatbreads. Starters like artichoke dip and bruschetta. Some of the current entrees, which might change, are hanger steak, chilean salmon, cauliflower steak. They had a gnocchi dish I was interested in, but it's already been removed from the menu. The restaurant is classy and just like a winery is expected to be. The food is pretty good. But the service was really subpar.

I feel fortunate because read other reviews here that said it took 2 months to secure a Monday reservation. I recently decided that I am not going to live a gluten free lifestyle even if my 4th cousin from 23andme suggested that everyone on earth is gluten intolerant and there is a global conspiracy to poison us all with gluten ataxia. Starting with the bread, we were already impressed. The texture was perfect, crunchy on the outside and soft in the inside. There was another review that said it's not that great. Not sure what that persons problem is. I didn't know what to order so got the pasta rustica, a little marinara some ricotta. I understand from the other reviews that this is American Italian food but worked for me. My partner enjoyed the steak/Gorgonzola pasta. That was tasty too, I had the leftovers the next day! After that bread was brought over so we could dip into the already placed olive oil and vinegar that was on the table prior to sitting. We started with the calamari with was tasty but noticed the breading kept falling off the rings. I kept having to scoop the fallen breading out of the dipping sauce. For entrees, I got the mussels and linguine and my husband got the chicken piccata. Every mussel in my dish had meat in it which was nice but I felt like the overall dish was missing something as it was quite acidic tasting.. maybe some cream? The chicken piccata was pretty good, with mushrooms, artichokes, carrots, broccolini, and capers. My husband doesn't really like mushrooms or artichokes so I had a few bites of those and they were tasty. He said the dish reminded him of "old world piccata" and not the modern dish he was expecting of just chicken, capers, and pasta. But he said he did enjoy it. Service was slow and we did hear the next table have some complaints and their bill was comped. We did wait a bit between each course and for the server to appear for the bill. Overall, Odyssey restaurant was ok. The vibe is very cool as it is a converted home.
