I've been wanting to try this restaurant for dinner as it's known for having a fabulous happy hour which I haven't made it to yet. Very clean and modern decor with a "Flori-bbean" themed menu. Service was exemplary! The complimentary rolls with honey butter were delicious. Had the crab Rangoon dip, plantain crusted corvina (how can you not have corvina at a restaurant named Corvina!!), and the crab linguini fra diavolo, which I didn't think was too spicy. The dinner was absolutely delicious and the whole experience was top notch. Ended the night with a delicious chocolate ice cream sundae and the ice cream was Lilly's- which I believe is a local creamery. Great to support local businesses. Amber came to our table and informed us of the specials and made some wonderful suggestions. We started with the crab rangoon, The Peruvian ceviche, and the Tempura shrimp tacos. We liked the Rangoon. my wofe said the ceviche was only mediocre but the shrimp tempura tacos were delicious! We followed that with pork chops, the Plantain Crusted Corvina, madhed potatoes and creamed spinach. Place was packed for the special priced dinners. The corvina was excellent, nice piece of fish crusted in plantains. The Pork chop was cooked to perfection, with the pear and cranberry chutney. Oh so delicious! Our friend ordered the jerk chicken and her husband the snapper almondine. The jerk chicken was good but the sauce was on the side. if you did not add the sauce it woud have been a roasted chicken. Last night I had such a wonderful evening at Corvina Seafood Grill in Misner Park. To begin, they had valet parking! Parking was my only concern about going there until I saw the valet parking - -what a relief! They have a wonderful happy hour - - 50% off of almost anything on the menu as long as you order before 6:00 pm. Our server, and her trainee, were wonderful! In fact, they encouraged us to order our entire meal - soup to nuts - and they would then space it out for us. We all ordered something different and loved most everything. One friend did not like her branzino so they took it back and exchanged it for swordfish which was perfect. The drinks were great, the food and bread were great, the dessert (I forgot to get a pic) was incredible! Service was excellent. We ordered 3 appetizers, 4 dinners, two sides, 4 drinks and dessert - - the entire bill came to just under 200.00 before tip! We will be back! read more

I will be honest I am a massive fan of this place. There are many seafood restaurants in the area. This is one of our favorites because they are so consistent in the quality of their food is excellent. My absolute favorite thing to get here is their bread service, which is the biscuit with honey butter it is just phenomenal and sets the tone. Pretty much all the entrées we've had here have been spotted on. This place strikes the perfect balance of not over or under seasoning because the fish is so fresh. It does not need to have a blanket of sauces or flavors on it to mask the natural taste and that is exactly how Corvina does it and that everything is just perfectly balanced. We love sitting outside and enjoying the view. They have valet parking in the front as well for ease. Would recommend as a cute date night. We saw a lot of couples meet up with their friends during their time at the bar and then transitioned in for a meal. Overall, excellent place for seafood also has non-seafood options for those who enjoy good food, but are not feeling seafood. read more

I've been wanting to come here for a while and finally made a reservation yesterday. I was surprised to get a table at 7:30, especially Christmas week with all the tourists and snowbirds in town. Reservations were easy, just go on to the website and you can book right from the home page. Located in Downtown Boca, just off of Royal Palm Plaza, valet parking is complementary. I highly suggest this, as all parking downtown is metered. Trust me on this one, if meter expires, it's a $35 ticket and the meter maid is right there as soon as it goes off. The $5 tip to the valet is worth the trouble. Every night from 4-7 is happy hour. 50% off everything at the bar including bottles of wine. We ordered a bottle of Stags Leap and had a glass and was told we could bring the remainder to the table. The inside is beautiful and the ocean vibes are relaxing. Tables are available inside and outside on the patio. There's also nice seating at the bar with TV's if you want to watch a game. The menu is mostly seafood oriented with fresh fish dishes and some steaks for the meat lovers. We started with the Bermuda Chowder. Hints of sherry and some pepper gave this fresh crabmeat soup the perfect bite it needed. It was the perfect start to a fabulous meal. Crab Linguini Fra DiAvolo - Jumbo lump crab with chilis for some spice, roasted heirloom tomatoes and a nice sauce served on top of linguini. Seafood Bouillabaisse - This Moqueca was rich in color and flavor. Packed with lobster tail, mussels, prawns and the fresh catch of the day. The portion was big and well worth the price. This was such a nice evening. Everything from the service to the food was exceptional. This is definitely a local place I will go back to time and time again. read more

This was a fun night out. I really like the atmosphere at Corvina. It is lively without being too much. The DJ was really good. I know he is there Saturday nights starting at 8pm. The Piper champagne was very good. It was my first time having this brand. It had a great flavor. The seafood tower was really good. The oysters were real high quality and had that perfect ocean taste I love. The shrimp were great and the cocktail sauce was just right. I enjoyed two of the sauces. One was pretty good but I felt the ginger taste did not really go with the seafood, more so with sushi. One sauce was just not my taste. But who cares, the seafood was awesome! The crab meat was very high quality and flavorful. Last, but certainly not least, the lobster was succulent. There was a good amount of it. I would like to try other seafood dishes here as wrll because that seems to be their specialty. read more

Great spot in Boca. We sat at tables near the bar and tried their happy hour menu. Great selection of tapas style dishes. Loved the mussels in red sauce, beef empanada, crab stuffed mushrooms, tuna tacos, flatbread and meatballs. All dishes were tasty and presented beautifully. We also took advantage of the happy hour drinks. Loved the fishbowl style glasses. The spicy margaritas and smoked old fashioned cocktails were good as well. The oysters rockefeller was very good - nice garlic and spinach flavors mixed in with fresh oysters. Tje grilled octopus was perfectly cooked and had a great grill flavor to it. Had some cocktails and small bites here and the atmosphere, menu, and service were great. Brianna was my server on the patio and had great suggestions and was so patient with me while I just hung out and ate, drank and read my book. The cucumber cooler was amazing (I asked for it spicy so the refreshing aspects of the drink with the little kick of heat were delicious), the pisco sour is nice, light and tart. The corn chowder was delicious, hearty but didn't feel extremely heavy. Had a nice little Cajun kick to the soup that I loved as well. Additionally had the gem Caesar which was light and refreshing and had fresh anchovies! We were able to make reservations directly at their website for dinner for 4. During the summer from 4:00 until 5:00 everything except sushi & raw bar items are 50% off. From 5:00 until 9:00 on Sunday through Thursday the entire menu is 25% off. There are 235 seats, a private dining room for 32 and patio. When we arrived the aquarium was eye-catching & the ocean vibes inside. The restaurant is two blocks south of Mizner Park in Boca. Parking is difficult; a complimentary valet is available. Liliana, our waitress was personable, attentive & wonderful . The international wine list was very comprehensive. The refreshing summer cocktails & frozen were appealing. My rosé was delicious and my husband enjoyed his frozen mango Margarita. The menu is fresh fish & seafood focused. The seafood chowders, salads & appetizers were appealing. We started by sharing a mussel appetizer in a sweet sun-dried tomato shallot cream sauce. I ordered the crab crusted halibut with truffle risotto. My husband ordered the crabcakes with mashed potatoes and friends the bouillabaisse. Portions generous, our meals were exceptional & our dinner with a drink, tax & tip was $40 pp. We left with bags of leftovers as the portions were large. My first time here for a special dinner at Corvina. Upon walking in, they seemed busy which was a good sign and the decor had a modern touch. We were seated right away with menus that took some time to make a decision as they had many delicious options. Went for the sushi roll and cauliflower to start and the crab corn chowder. They were all great! Highly recommended by the staff was the crusted Halibut with Risotto (yum) and to finish off tried the cheesecake flan with caramel filled churros like 3 desserts in one. Corvina recently joined the InKind family of restaurants so we decided to go back and introduce to our friends after a very long time. Complimentary valet parking is provided which is a big plus. The venue is beautifully decorated- so chic and classy. We sat in a large booth which could fit 6 people. Victoria was our lovely waitress who took our drink orders and later our entrees. We had FRESH BAKED MINI BUTTERMILK BISCUITS delivered to our table and enjoyed that with a fish dip and crab and corn chowder soup which was very hearty. I had the BRAZILIAN SEAFOOD BOUILLABAISSE 'Moqueca Baiana' lobster tail, prawns, mussels, fresh catch, tomato sofrito broth bouillabaisse for dinner. The "broth" was not a broth in my opinion; it was a thick sauce. This was different from what I expected. Others had the swordfish in island curry, crab linguine fra diavolo and Moqueca a Brazilian seafood stew. Everyone enjoyed their dinner selections and our friends thanked me for introducing them to Corvina. It was a beautiful experience and we will be sure to frequent again before too long. read more

I really wanted to love this place, but unfortunately I left feeling unsure if I would return. Our server was very pleasant, however the food came out extremely quickly, which made it seem like we were being rushed. We started with the crab and corn chowder, which was unfortunately just "meh" at best. About 75% of it remained in the bowl. The server noticed and asked if something was wrong, and we were honest that it wasn't great. Despite that, it remained on the bill, which felt disappointing given how little of it was eaten, but we said nothing. The main courses were actually quite good, which was a positive and the highlight of the meal. After dinner we moved to the bar to finish the evening. We ordered rye Old Fashioneds and were served what was essentially warm bourbon poured over a large cube. When the bartender delivered the drinks he asked if we needed straws. I'm not quite sure where to begin with that interaction. The drink was nowhere near an Old Fashioned despite the upcharge to make it one, and the straw question only made the experience feel more awkward. The whole interaction came across as oddly dismissive toward two women ordering a classic whiskey cocktail. Lastly, while I understand perceptions can vary, the overall presentation at the front of the house was surprising for a Saturday evening. The hostess was wearing what appeared to be lace bike shorts (similar to Spanx shorts) with slide sandals. It left me a bit confused about the image the restaurant is trying to present. There are definitely positives here but the combination of rushed pacing, the bar experience, and the overall presentation left me hesitant about returning. If it matters to the establishment, we were patrons on on March 7th for our wedding anniversary dinner so we were anticipating a more upscale vibe overall and were quite underwhelmed. read more

The freshly baked bread was a little late to the table arriving after the appetizers, but worth the wait, charred cauliflower that was done just right, and a Kamakazi Sushi roll that was full of flavor. The crab and corn chowder lacked flavor and crab but was good enough not to return. The special of the night, Crab Crusted Halibut over creamy risotto, was outstanding and definitely the highlight. Dessert was the perfect ending, a cheesecake flan with a caramel churro. If I had one critique, it would be the service. The floor manager did stop by a few times, which I appreciated, but my server wasn't as attentive as I expected. I had to ask for water refills more than once. At 5:55, they were out of both the filet and the skirt steak. Had to ask for my soda 3 times in 20 minute span before I finally got it. The restaurant is beautiful, with lots of indoor and outdoor seating, and an active bar. The menu is all about seafood. There are some meat dishes thrown in, but seafood is the way to go (unless you don't eat it). All of the food was excellent! We had fish dip and ceviche for starters. Both were so bright and fresh. My main was the Moqueca, a seafood stew with lobster tail, prawns, fresh catch, and a tomato sofrito broth. So tasty Service was professional and prompt. What a hidden gem! I've driven past this place countless times and finally decided to stop in one evening--best spontaneous decision ever! The food was absolutely fantastic. We started with the mussels in white wine sauce and they were so flavorful we begged for extra rolls to soak up every last drop. The crab linguine was perfection: a light, delicious sauce absolutely loaded with sweet crab meat. My blackened swordfish with mango salsa was cooked to absolute perfection--juicy and seasoned just right. Atmosphere is great with both cozy indoor seating, a large bar and a lovely outdoor area. I heard their happy hour is legendary, so that's definitely happening on my next visit. The sangria is Dangerously delicious, don't skip it! read more

I really like Corvina. I've been here for regular dinner, happy hour at the bar, and happy hour dinner. Here's how their menu works... From 4pm - 6pm their entire menu is half off, including entrees, appetizers, drinks, desserts, everything! The catch is you must be seated and place order by 5:45pm, and the word is out so it gets busy. So reservations are recommended. Due to how busy they get during this time the service slows down a bit during those hours and the restaurant gets loud making it hard to have conversations. But regardless of the time you get there, the drinks and food have always been delicious and service has been very friendly and professional. Obviously the HH special is the best deal. Regular price menu can get a bit expensive but the quality and taste are worth it. read more

this was our first visit. some was good and some was bad. the good : the food. we had the bar harbor roll and the mussels. both were 10/10, very flavorful and would definitely re-order. we had whole lobster (get to this in a minute) and snapper almondine- this was also fantastic - along with mac and cheese and creamed spinach which were overall tasty. speed: all of our food came out very quick the bad: Ash/lighting: 8pm on the weekends there is a DJ- which wasn't too loud and i particularly really enjoyed the music selection, but the lights would go bright then 5-10 minutes go dark, then 15 minutes later another color. wasn't a big deal but worth mentioning.l that it felt off. "whole lobster"- the food arrives and it's a small bowl with a tail split in half and 1 claw. we call the waiter and tell him where's the rest. he informed us they don't do the head and legs, which is fine but there should be two claws. he then finds out they are out of lobster , immediately comps us with a crab appetizer to make up for this - totally acceptable what isn't acceptable, is they delivered 3/4 of a meal without saying anything , and only did so after we made mention of it. read more

So disappointed in the service tonight. Had a reservation for 10 people and it took over an hour just to get appetizers. Everything came out at once & half of it was cold half of it was inedible. I've been here a few other times and it's been really good. I had lobster rolls which were so poor and goat cheese salad and the goat cheese was cakey. My dad had the fish and chips which was ice cold that chips were still with the crab Rangoon dip. Everything came out whenever they felt like it. I can't blame it on the wait staff. It was definitely the kitchen. May take me a while before I go back if at all the only thing that saved the night was that they comped half the dinner. I waited a few days to post a review, as I was undecided on the focus I would consider. Realizing that my followers were out there with baited breadth, eager for my pearls of wisdom, I had to post now. Let's start with the most important component for any restaurant, and that is the FOOD. Corvina certainly scored there, although I was very much disappointed in my dayboat scallops. I asked about their size when ordering, and was led to believe they would be #20, when in reality, they just about made it to a #10. At $46, if I were not dining during the "social hour", where everything is 50% off (except sushi and cold seafood appetizers), I would have sent them back. They were sad looking. Accompanied by roasted cauliflower, which was great, I finished them off. But would never order again. The halibut, ordered by my husband, was a nice portion and very tasty. Yuca Fries were tasty, but didn't taste like the yuca fries one would get at any Latin restaurant. I guess they were "Americanized" for the Boca crowd. Caesar Salad was plentiful, a nice tangy dressing, and lots of white sardines. The Grey Goose martinis were expertly made, and shaken at the table by our outstanding and quite handsome and mgood natured server, RYAN B. He was charming, and clearly knew how to handle the mostly older Boca crowd, who are more demanding than one could ever imagine. Desserts of chocolate cake and churros and flan were delicious. The Pelligrino was nice and bubbly and cold. And truly, RYAN B earned his $60 tip on the discounted check of $91, but I figured the tip on the non discounted price, which is appropriate, but I doubt most diners do. After all, they are ALL there to save a buck, or more acculturately, save 50% of their check! And here comes the most disagreeable part of the evening and this review. The restaurant was packed, midweek, at 4:30 PM, Ya see, you have to order before 5PM to get the 50% off. And it was warm. And the tables weere way troo close for my comfort. And, I could harly hear the woman sitting next to me, and she doesn't speak in a whisper. The two other women at the opposite end of the table could not be heard at all, and frankly, they didn't try to talk too much. They were enjoying their two martinis and their delicious food. Would I return? No, definitely NOT, during the social hour. I'm 76 years old, don't have that much longer to live, and frankly, don't want to dine out in a restaurant where all the tables around me have people woofing down their 50% off food and drinks, and shouting to be heard by the person 6 inches to their left or right. This is not the restaurant's fault, as it clearly appears that they have found a niche market, as they have survived for several years, perhaps opening around the end of the dark days of Covid, when at least 6 other restaurants have failed. We were invited to a birthday party at Corvina. It was our first time there. The food, service and ambiance were great. My wife and I shared the beet salad and shrimp cocktail. For main dishes we had an excellent NY strip, tender and cooked to perfection, and snapper that was excellent as well. The sides were mashed potatoes and asparagus. The desserts were decadent and delicious, flourless chocolate cake and a delicious lemon meringue cake. This is a place that we will definitely come back to. There is also reasonable valet parking. Although the restaurant has a wonderful modern yet warm ambiance, some of the food and service was lacking. We ordered Burrata/Tomatoes app which had a very small ball of cheese and although good amount of tomatoes it lacked flavor (we had to ask for balsamic & EVOO). The Roasted Cauliflower app was good but not worth $13 (came in a 6" cast iron & had maybe 5 small florets - too small for an app). Yet the same Roasted Cauliflower as my dinner side came on a bigger rectangular plate w/more florets & more sauce/raisins ... we were all confused. The crab cakes were good but pricey at $42. The NY strip my friends had was just okay. I would go back bc I enjoyed the atmosphere & to try other dishes, but hopefully they will improve on the service (water glasses empty a few times) and more substance to their appetizers. read more
