I finally made my way back to Daniele's to try a slice of Pepperoni pizza. Boy was it a night and day difference from my first experience here. In my old review I guessed that my first pizza was too overloaded with toppings as undercarriage was floppy and the pizza was falling apart. THIS slice of pepperoni pizza was a 5/5. So much so after I finished eating I walked right up to the register and ordered another slice. The undercarriage was perfect as it was not oily and it had the perfect amount of crisp. It really is wood fired I took a picture/video of it. So awesome!!! This place is constantly flowing with customers and I can see why. It's more of a pickup delivery type of vibe. Not much of a dine in. They have glass sodas. I ordered 2 cheese, 1 pepperoni, and 1 chicken onion peppers cilantro pizza. And I can't forget this but the green salad was sooooo amazing. Already ordered twice from this spot. Fresh croutons and vegetables with amazing dressing. Definitely get the mixed green house salad. The pizza was perfectly cooked, a bit on the bland side, well the chicken one at least. But I want to try the plain pepperoni or cheese one this time. It is on the pricier side. I ordered a slice of cheese pizza and added jalepenos and a side of garlic bread. The pizza was decent and the garlic bread was nice and buttery and soft. I'd have both again. The service was excellent. The person taking my order gave good customer service. The ambiance is pretty casual. So this one is going to be a little tough. Right off the bat the guy at the cashier/employees are super nice people. The restaurant is very clean and prices are great. The part I feel bad about is the pizza and the eggplant parm. The pizza lacked salt/seasoning. The tomato sauce was pretty bland. Even with the pepperoni it seems like it was missing something. The crust was fantastic. Then the eggplant parm. You can tell it was premade and reheated. Unfortunately when they reheated my order it was cold in the middle. He told me that they can only bake a few pizzas at a time and some days it's a 2 hour wait for your order. But hey, if you want a good pie, it's worth it. I was so hungry by the time I got home I ate a piece right out of the box before hearing it up. We ordered a half and half medium pizza which was about 32$. The man at the cash register was nice, he gave us a slice of cheese pizza cut into small pieces as a little appetizer while we waited which was really sweet. Another day, another fab pizza spot to review! I have been wanting to try Danielle's for a while after seeing it land on several "Best Pizza" lists and finally got the chance to! What a treat. There's a parking lot that can get pretty crowded in the day but in the evenings it's empty. Pulled right on up to pick up the goods. It's a cute little shop with a few tables and nice view of the wood fire oven. I was greeted so warmly by the staff and had a pretty adorable interaction. They said my pizza was so beautiful that they took a vid to post in on IG (@danielleswoodfiredpizza) and were so excited to show it to me - great work with the camera! It was gorgeous. I got the biggest size like I do and it was huge. Perfect for two meals even with two hungry adults. I did the build your own because I'm a custom girlie with basil, tomatoes, bell peppers, and artichokes (artichokes were missing but it's all good). I could not get home fast enough, the smell was divine. The pizza was SO DELICIOUS! The crust is a literal piece of heaven. I've thought about it every day since I've had it, no joke. It's so good.
