Taste Two Tomato Basil Soup - Cup Signature Salad Multigrain bread
    Lori B.

First time and not the last! Ordered online for pick up. Food was ready in less time than promised. The only reason for one less star was because the soup of the day wasn't online. However, this tomato basil soup and the warm multigrain bread was delicious! The soup was hearty and creamy just what I needed on a windy day! There was no crowd so I was able to get my order at the register and go. The two were so filling that I don't even have room to eat my salad and brownie!

It's okayyyy. I use to come here when I lived in Baltimore in 2015... now I've tried it in 2024... idk it's okay. Maybe the person didn't make it with love or something but it's decent. Sandwich taste dry. Not how I've had it many times in the past. Service was fast but the man that helped me seemed like he was trying to get me in and out and not attentive to my needs much. It's a cool relaxed ambiance. Would be nice if they had WiFi so people can work from here and eat, luckily I had my personal hotspot to work from.

I paid almost 7 bucks for a sandwich that is no bigger than small pad of papper smh

ehhh I remember this place being much better in high school. So far I have tried to steak gorgonzola melt which was heavy on the blue cheese and light on the steak and also the Caribbean chicken with spaghetti squash bowl, again light on the protein and that spaghetti squash had an odd consistency and taste. There was negligible sauce on the bowl so I was just eating dry spaghetti squash and 3 pieces of chicken. the location is well laid out well in the bank of america building and the set up is really efficient and all the people working there are forever helpful and never rude. just doesn't make up for the laughable portion sizes and ridiculous pricing. $7 for what amounts to a half of sandwich is ridiculous. From now on I will just accompany people when they want to go there but they will be getting no more of my money

Stopped by for lunch and was glad I did. Cosi is set up like most places now where you go down the line and order what you want. There are many different items to select from such as Sandwiches, Soup, Rice Bowls, Salad, and more. I ordered the "Take Two" where you get half a Sandwich with a Soup or Salad. I ordered the Pesto Chicken Sandwich with a Chicken Caesar Salad. The Chicken Caesar Salad was really good, Chicken was simple but flavorful. The Pesto Chicken Sandwich (Chicken, Pesto, Fresh Mozzarella,& Sun Dried Tomato Spread) was delicious. I would go back and get that again. The staff was friendly and even provided information about their Cosi membership.

Seriously the worst pizza I've ever had. Think school cafeteria- but worse. Choked down a small amount and threw the rest away. Never met a pizza I didn't like till now. How do you even screw up pizza? Don't bother coming here. Not even if you're really craving, I promise you'll be sorely disappointed. Go around the corner and pick up a frozen pizza from Royal Farms.I promise you that's the smarter choice.

    Yummy breakfast!!

I ordered my breakfast almost daily and occasionally for lunch too. Love this restaurant and most of workers are super friendly. They know by my names after the first few visits and they do change their seasonal menus. Sean, the general store manager were always smiled and greeted say hello or short conversation. It made you feel welcome. Love the food and service. A couple times they may be slow due to new staff, but overall were very pleased.

The staff was friendly from the beginning to the end. specially the baker and MOD ,the Chicken TBM melt was amazing. #cosi#love it .

I love carbs so the bread here is great as well as the pizza. The service could use some work.

Matriarch Coffee lived up to every bit of the hype -- and then some…read more I'd been hearing about Matriarch Coffee for a while from friends near me in the DMV, and I finally made the drive up to Baltimore to see what all the hype was about. Short answer: absolutely worth it!Long answer: I'm already thinking about my next excuse to come back. Walking in, the space immediately delivers. The aesthetic is awesome-- the kind of intentional, beautifully designed interior that feels warm and curated rather than staged. It's trendy without being cold, and the Inner Harbor location makes it that much more special. I know there is a huge renovation planned "down the harbor" , this Matriarch is ALREADY READY! You get all the energy of the waterfront with a cozy, tucked-in feel once you're inside. Now, the coffee. I got a latte that was genuinely one of the better cups I've had in a long time -- smooth, rich, perfectly pulled. I also had a Chai and paired it with a cherry & cheese danish that was fresh and delicious, the ideal complement to the drink. I asked for it heated and it was hot all the way through. Hate it when I get it and it is cold in the middle...the barista understood the assignment and got us right! Everything felt thoughtful, like someone in that kitchen actually cares about what they're putting out -- because they do. Speaking of which -- I had the pleasure of meeting the owner, and it all made sense. Warm, passionate, and clearly proud of what they've built. Shirts, cups, napkins, and merch that says "I love my Matriarch" is a reminder of the "Why" behind this spot I think. That kind of energy flows through the entire space and staff. You feel it the moment you walk in. The Matriarch isn't just a coffee shop. It's a destination. If you're in Baltimore, this is a must. If you're outside the city -- make the drive. Trust me. See you soon, Matriarch!

We had the matcha latte, and a menu special: solar eclipse which was chai with expresso macadamia nut milk and lavender syrup. Matcha was good flavor and quality. The drink special I pass, I gave it a fair try but it didn't taste good- there was a very acidic taste at the end. My first time in was after calling to see if they had gift cards, went without an answer . So I went there and nope. Waisted my time going there.

I went on a Saturday morning around 9:45 and waited about 25 minutes for a table for 2. The menu is EXTENSIVE and they have an option for pretty much anything you're in the mood for! I got the Mexican egg scramble and the pumpkin pancakes to share. The prices might seem slightly on the higher side for a breakfast place, but once you get your food you'll understand why. The portions are generous and the food is delicious! I ended up taking half of the food home and I genuinely looked forward to eating it as leftovers - which fed me for multiple meals. 12/10 would recommend the pumpkin pancakes no matter what season it is. They come with white chocolate chips, fruit, and a caramel drizzle on top. The French toast also looked incredible so I'll be sure to order that the next time I go! I

If you do end up here, BE AWARE THEY WILL NICKEL AND DIME YOU…read more Met a friend here for 9:30am breakfast. shortly after being seated, a staff member decided to CRANK the music - it was Evanescence or something similar - either way it was obviously someone on staff's absolute favorite song and they decided to turn the volume so loud that it was difficult to have a comfortable conversation. It's 9:30am, I'm not trying to scream over 90s pop music to have a conversation with someone two feet away from me. The menu was a QR code on a dirty, laminated card stuck to the table. My friend and I each ordered an entree plus a short stack to share. Neither of our egg dishes came with toast so we ordered that on the side. All they offer is white, English muffin or biscuit. I ordered the white toast and it is the 2" thick, low quality, tasteless white bread they use for their French toast. Whatever. The utensils are one step above plastic - they are light-weight, cheap, rough edged crap you might imagine in a prison. Whatever. The plastic containers of half and half were already on the table, sitting there at room temp. Again, whatever. The waitress dropped off the bill, said to use the QR code to pay unless we were using cash, then took off. If we wanted to split the bill, I guessed we would need to wait for her to come back around. So, I offered to pay the astoundingly high bill. I open the QR link and the first things that popped are the tip options with 20% pre-selected. All told the bill was $97 for two people. When I got home I glanced at the itemized bill: *They charged us $16 for two cups of coffee with one refill each. *a 20 % tip was already included! Apparently, they add 20% onto checks over $50. Of course it's over $50 when you charge $16 for mugs of coffee, and $$ for sides of crappy white toast. Make no mistake, this is my fault for paying with the QR code and not combing through the itemized bill first. I guess I'm not used to going to neighborhood joints expecting to get fleeced. My suggestion: go around the corner to Spoons Cafe on Cross St: high quality food and you won't feel robbed blind when you look at the bill.

There is also a little shopping area where they have loaves of bread and other goodies to purchase. Bought a loaf of sourdough on the way out and what I really appreciated is they will slice it for you as well! We started with Smoked Chai Lattes and a seasonal Creamsicle type beverage. The smoke notes to the chai were prevalent but not over powering - a unique twist. We ordered a pistachio baklava croissant to share - flaky and and filled with pistachio paste inside. I would recommend it! For our meals we had the Egg & Cheese Biscuit, Ham and Cheese Béchamel Croissant and Egg White Omelette. They were all good and filling. Our service was good, but relaxed towards the end - started out attentive but we were done with our meals quite a while before someone came over to ask if we needed anything or offered the check. We really didn't mind since we hadn't caught up with each other in a long time, so appreciated not being rushed out of there. We also were in a back corner, so may not have been the most noticeable. Everyone was really friendly who worked there. Loved the open kitchen concept where you could watch them making all the donuts and croissants. The ambiance was so on theme even to the details in the restrooms and the lighting fixtures looking like whisks! Will definitely return in the future.
