The employees here steal from customers by adding a tip onto your pickup order hoping you won't notice. I was overcharged here two separate times, the first time I did not call to complain and the second time after I was overcharged by $5 I called and spoke to a manager and he essentially accused me of lying by saying he didn't believe it happened even though he saw the $5 tip on my order that I did not leave. Not only do the employees here steal from customers, but the manager does not care. I am not impressed with my slice to go tonight! Pizza was very old and dry and cheese was all shriveled up. They hardly warmed it in the oven so I had to warm it when I got home, as I was eating it I noticed a burnt taste and looked at the bottom of the slice and it was totally burnt! I don't think they are following health code leaving food out or so long and then selling it, because mine tasted like it was left out for over 2 hours.The only reason I gave 2 stars is because the staff was polite. Also the location in Boulder had a food poisoning outbreak about 8 years ago my friend told me. I won't be going here again. read more

After moving to CO from NY, it's nice to finally have found a pizza spot that makes pizza ALMOST as bomb as NY does. They sell slices so you don't have to buy a whole pie & the slices are HUGE!!! Definitely worth the price point. Not to mention the staff are kind and the venue itself passed the vibe check. Apart from the two slices, I also got a calzone (not pictured) with mushrooms and jalapeños and let me tell you -- IT WAS HUGE! The sauce it came with for dipping was 10/10 (low key wish they gave me a bigger container tbh) but all in all a great foodie experience. read more

This is the first NY style pizza that I've enjoyed AND they deliver! I prefer to make my own pizza, including the week long sourdough crust, but I am SO glad to find a comparable alternative. The 24" pizza is MASSIVE. My 15yo can eat his weight in pizza and couldn't put a dent in this size. I dont have a fridge large enough for the box. I am SO happy to have found this place!! Experiencing the change is creating a space for growth. I walked into @Cosmospizza in Lafayette with my face mask on. They were very accommodating allowing me to sit in a chair away from others. I was reminiscing watching the pizzas fly up and down just for another twist in his hands. The gentleman who brought me my pizza order asked the dough maker to flip a few times for me. Update: They seem to have gotten things together. We ordered delivery on a Sunday and it arrived right in the quoted time of an hour. Still not super happy about how the first experience was handled but the pizza is super good. Previous review: Totally understand there will be issues with a new restaurant location opening but this was unacceptable. Ordered at 5pm for delivery (I live about a 5 min drive away). Delivery time was shown as 60 min. I called at 7pm to ask about the status. Was told I was at the top of the list and and it wouldn't be long. Called again at 8, was after a wait while they checked with the kitchen was told it was out for delivery and to call back if I didn't get it in 30 min. Called back at 8:30, was put on hold, and after a few minutes a different person answered and asked if I "even still wanted it". I said yes, and was told it would be there in 30 min and they'd refund my money. Showed up at 9. I requested contactless delivery but the driver stuck around to give me a speech about how I was getting a free pizza. They forgot everything else I ordered (including the spicy ranch which is the only reason to deal with Cosmos). Totally understand lost tickets and delivery delays. But to show up 4 hours later with 1/3 of the items ordered ignoring the requested social distancing is unacceptable read more

I'm actually quite disappointed with this location. I was excited when they moved into the Lafayette area, since I have been a fan of them since I was in high school. I've been a constant customer at the Boulder and Denver location and have always gotten there 1 topping special deal and have never had a problem EVER. Today this location has lost my business for good, maybe its nothing to them, but I have ordered 4-5 times in the 2 weeks or so they have been open. I called to get my usual and as I am done ordering they give me a total that is incorrect and I ask why the price doesn't match up. They go on to explain that a pizza with toppings is extra and I say that I asked for the 1 topping pizza deal that they have been doing and every other Cosmos does, which brings people in over other pizza places and he says that they don't have a deal like this. I was confused because this is a deal the other locations have and I have always ordered, so I had him ask the manager just to make sure and they said they don't do this 1 topping deal. In all, this place was looking like it was going to be a great addition to the neighborhood, but sadly this place doesn't care about the community of Lafayette or the long time Cosmos name. I am beyond disappointed with this Cosmos location and have lost mine and every person I can persuades business and have them go to the other delicious and fair pizza places such as Abos and Lucky Pie! I ordered a large white pizza. I came exactly on time. The pizza was ready, but cold to the touch. When I got home, I saw there was barely any cheese and random clumps of sun-dried tomatoes. It had already completely dried, which means they barely used oil of any. I called the manager to explain the problem and he said he could give me 20% off my next order and didn't seem to care at all. I will never be buying a pizza from them again. read more

I normally like Cosmos in Lafayette. Went in today for some slices and a drink. First I was ignored completely passed over by the cashier . Once she took my order of 4 slices she told someone else my order. I got my drink and waited. They totally did not put my slices to warm. After asking twice I get a box with 2 slices. I said that not all off it so yet again some tries to get the rest of my order. I get a second box. I just leave with both boxes . Get home and they have me some else's order not what I ordered. The pizza was cooked to long and crust was either very hard or way too soft This place needs a ordering system for people walking in to order slice and not online orders . I love this place. We get the garden salad, which is big enough for 4-6 portions for under 10.00. This is so much easier than making salad at home and the ingredients are so fresh and delicious. The pizza is so delicious, I could eat it every day (and sometimes have, for days at a time!) the employees work really hard and the place is consistently clean. They were awesome! Our Pizza was due for delivery at 5:30 but they were short drivers. Someone called me to let me know the pizza would be late and they got here just about 7-10 min later. The pizza was hot and salad was fresh. The driver was super friendly and also apologetic about being late. I've never had a place call to say they would be late. I love Cosmos pizza! The employees at this new location are handling the pandemic and the demand for good pizza in Lafayette with patience and preparedness. The location is a large space with some seating outside and is always rocking the best jams to help make the wait a little easier. The free smells coming out of that place are enough to get anyone to order one of their delicious pies. I got a BBQ, pineapple, bacon, cream cheese, 14"- and it was everything my lockdown tastebuds desired. I enjoy going to the Cosmos locations in Boulder. However, they clearly do not quite have things figured out here yet. I ordered my pizza online for pickup at 6:50pm and when I arrived they said that their online ordering system had issues. Understandable, it is the first day they were open; they took down my order again and told me it would be 30 minutes. I waited in my car rather than staying inside the crowded restaurant. After 30 minutes I went back inside and they had lost my order again. I left my name and order a second time, and it took another 40 minutes for them to finally get it out to me. I would recommend avoiding this location for at least a few months until they get their stuff together - I did not leave with my pizza until 8:00pm. When I got home, I opened up the box, finally able to enjoy my dinner and it turns out they didn't even cut it. So all in all, 1/5 experience. Delivery nightmare. It's one thing if you can't make a delivery, or you're going to be late. But to lie to your customer repeatedly about it being "on the way" is ridiculous. Placed an order at 5:15PM online, was told to expect pizza around 6:15PM. Called the first time at 6:45PM (30 minutes late), was told so sorry, it's on the way. 7:15, still no pizza, call back, hear apologies and "it's on the way" Called back at 7:30 (I'm only about 10 minutes away) and asked to speak with a manager. Manager Erin or Aaron, tells me "I don't know who told you it was on the way, it isn't, but I'm going to drive it to you myself." Called back about 15 minutes later and asked to speak to the manager (who clearly lied to me about driving it to me himself, big shocker). He tells me my pizza just left the store. It's almost 8 and I still have no pizza even though I ordered it almost 3 hours ago. Stay far, far away from this place. I will never order from here again. read more

Awesome pizza, super nice people and competitive prices. I want to reiterate how good the pizza is before I start to complain.....how can you have a pizzeria and not have garlic butter??? I mean garlic butter is cheap to buy and super easy to make in house too. For such a great pizza place I'm super surprised and pretty disappointed that they don't have garlic butter.
