    Ceviche de camaron

The food is fresh . So delicious ! The chips and salsa are addicting! Salsa is so good I wanted to take some home! Guacamole also right on top of the favorites list. The service was great, lots of smiles and attentiveness to what their clients need. We did not wait long. The ambiance is very nice not loud, great Latin music playing.

I didn't take a picture, but the food here always hits the spot. The atmosphere here is awesome, And the service is great. I live in Phoenix AZ, but stop here every time Im in town. The enchiladas are great, the menudo is perfect, and the mole is delicious. That's what I've had here recently (not all at once)

We went on a Saturday night. It was busy and fun. It was clean and decorated for the holiday. The entertainment was light and family friendly. Really goodKaraoke singers and a man singing entertainer. Dj was good too. Food Service was quick when we got there but after we were served we had to flag down the employees for a drink refill, To go boxes, and the bill. Lots of people walking through selling flowers, although we declined they were polite. There was a wait to get in by the time we left.

Ordered a cóctel de camarón and ceviche de pescado. The cóctel was fire and had lots of shrimp and flavor. The ceviche needed bit more flavor but it was decent. Definitely coming back here.

A truly authentic Mexican restaurant with lots of seafood options. There's a good sized bar by the entrance, several big screen TV's throughout the place, lots of booths, and a few really long tables for big groups, which they do get a lot of here. The staff is great and the food is amazing, just like having a home cooked meal at my grandmas. The only difference is for entertainment on the weekends, they have a guy walk around singing along with a portable karaoke device. It gets loud during that time. This was my first visit here, and I very rarely have menudo so I had to go with that today. It's just a tad on the spicier side from what I'm used to, but just as delicious and flavorful as it's supposed to be. This soup, along with pozole is only served on the weekends. I did have a taste of the carne asada plate and it was so good. Perfectly seasoned meat served with a mound of guacamole, rice and beans with thick homemade corn tortillas. I'm definitely ordering that plate next time.

Authentic Mexican food in big portions can be found here. Guacamole salsa was amazing. Fajitas were great and the chicken was cooked perfectly, leaving it moist and not dry. Burrito was huge! Had to take home as key overs. Food came out quickly. The staff was attentive.

The photos caught our eye, but they don't even do justice to the actual experience. The modest facade completely hides the gem buried within; the moment you step through the doors, you are transported into a beautiful, vibrant atmosphere. Despite arriving just before 7:00 PM on a busy Saturday night, we were seated incredibly fast. We had the absolute pleasure of being served by Karla (with a 'K'). Her enthusiasm, attentiveness, and deep knowledge of the menu were top-notch--truly a model for how the entire service industry should operate. As for the food? Out of this world. From the presentation to the flavor, the attention to detail is flawless. It is completely clear that Rosa Madera was created by someone with immense vision and heart, and they've managed to find a staff that shares that exact same passion. We are so hooked that we will absolutely be making the trip back from San Diego with the sole purpose of eating here again. In the meantime, my friends and family are going to get sick of me over the next few days, because I refuse to shut up about this place!

Thanks to Restaurant Week, we stumbled upon this gem, and we are so grateful. The hospitality alone would earn five stars. But then came the food. The tacos? Absolutely exceptional. The steak was tender and flavorful in a way that reminded me of eating throughout Mexico, you could actually taste the meat. A light, gentle pickle of vegetables on top, minimal cheese, nothing heavy or greasy. These are not the American-style tacos drowning in a pound of melted cheese. These are the real thing. The beans were lovely, the rice was solid, and my passion fruit winearita drink was genuinely a treat. Restaurant Week gave us the perfect low-pressure reason to try somewhere new, and we walked out with a new favorite. We'll be back for lunch. We'll be back for dinner. And yes, Taco Tuesday, we'll absolutely be back for that.

Honestly, I have no idea how this restaurant has nearly 5 stars…read more We arrived around 6 PM with a party of 6 adults and 3 toddlers, and we didn't receive our food until almost 8 PM. To make matters worse, one of our meals was completely forgotten. The service was extremely slow throughout the entire visit. Every time we needed something, whether it was a refill, an update, or assistance, the wait felt excessive. The restaurant may have potential because the food itself was flavorful, but it seemed like they were either understaffed or unprepared for the number of customers they had. Another disappointment was the drink selection. We were told they don't have a liquor license, so hard alcohol isn't available. Their sodas were canned, and when we asked for juice for the kids, they told us they were completely out. As for the atmosphere, the restaurant is on the smaller side and felt more like a converted house than a traditional restaurant, complete with a fireplace and television in the dining area. The food had good flavor, which is the only reason I'm giving more than one star. Unfortunately, the long wait times, missing meal, lack of drink options, and poor service made the overall experience disappointing.
