Fish ceviche.

Costa Pacifica is "A-okay". Food: 3.5 stars Service: 3 stars Drinks: 3 stars Atmosphere: 3.5 stars I dined here on a weeknight for just apps and drinks. There's a decent size covered patio and the standard inside seating options. The patio had a DJ set up that was ideal for a"party" atmosphere. We decided to sit inside near the bar for a slightly quieter area. We ordered the jalapeno margarita, Pina colada, fish ceviche and shrimp cocktail. The drinks were just okay. The service was friendly, but just okay as well. The shrimp cocktail and fish ceviche were pretty tasty. Definitely wouldn't mind ordering those again if I return. I did see that there are daily drink specials and music most nights of the week. Overall Costa Pacifica is great option if you want to meet up with a group of friends for a casual nightout.

Great apps and tacos. We loved the guacamole and shrimp ceviche. Birria and ribeye tacos were great too. Sangria and margaritas are large and delicious. cool area

Best guacamole service on a long time. Two sauces as well as two kinds of salsa. Husband had the seafood soup, complete with octopus, fish, scallops and shrimp. I had lobster tacos, ok but not on same level as the fabulous guac! Sever delightful abs very attentive. Nice place for families, date night or after work gatherings.

We had a large party about 24 people and they only had one server assigned to our section. 2 hours later 6 of us still didn't get our food. We asked for the manager several times he would drop in but immediately leave. He finally came to talk to us and totally blamed the server, never took responsibility. He said he'll bring us desserts to make up for the food, but the food should be out soon. 30 minutes later still no dessert. He came back said he'll comp our beverages, but food and dessert should be coming out. I received my food (fried fish and ceviche), they could have kept the fish. It was absolutely terrible but the ceviche was good. Dessert finally came out and it was delicious, I would have rather eaten the churros than the regular food. He also got the desserts wrong but they just kept it because they were hungry. Their food comes out and it's bagged up to go. No one asked for their food to go. The group was still there and everyone wanted to eat. 2 ladies said just forget it and left. 2 wanted to wait so they prepared it again and they shared the same opinion as me... terrible! We asked for the manager again, he came out and still blamed the server, poor girl did everything she should have and also should have had help. We find out the kitchen lost some tickets and other tickets were mixed in with other orders. It was a disaster, we all decided we will not return.

Today we went to try their "All You Can Eat $25" tapas and it was beyond what we expected. Their portion sizes were just right because it gives you the opportunity to try dishes from their menu in smaller portions; and because of this experience, we now know what appetizers, main courses, and desserts we will be ordering in the future. Our waiter Jose Luis Palma was a wonderful waiter and beyond attentive to our requests and needs. My mother, sister, & I truly enjoyed our time this afternoon. The pictures shown below are just some of the tapas we tried. The Baja Shrimp Taco was beyond my favorite taco! The Fettuccini Alfredo was creamy, the pasta al dente, & the shrimps with it- delicious. The tostada de ceviche was fresh and it's literally the best ceviche in town- says my sister. The chicharron de ribeye was outstanding! The tortilla de maíz son hechas a mano y el arroz pollo, riquísimo! I've also had churros from other places BUT Costa Pacifica truly knows how to make a good churro! I'd recommend to get a side of ice cream to truly enjoy the cinnamon from the churros. #WonderfulSaturday #YummyFood #TrulyWorthThe25

This is a good place to enjoy some Mexican style fish and seafood dishes. It's not inexpensive, but very affordable for a seafood spot. I've come to this restaurant many times, and I don't think I've ever had anything I didn't enjoy. The last time I came was during their happy hour. I ordered a glass of wine with an Noruega Tostada and an amazing Spring Salad. The food was excellent. Their seafood tostada choices are very flavorful and the salad was huge. Besides enjoying my get together, I love that Costa is very bright and airy. There is also an option to sit at their patio, which we didn't at this time, but is perfect for cooler weather. Service is always on point and never slow. Beyond doubt, this is a good choice for happy hour or just meeting friends.

est appetizer is Tuna Carpaccio ! Great for beer drinking or watching soccer games! We ordered Mojara Frita and Shrimp Cocktail! Both are top notch dishes! Love the Mexican ambiance and great management ! Shout out to Arturo !

Food was great! We ordered the tuna capriccio, the mango ceviche and the torre libre. They were super fresh and full of flavor. Only complaint is the tortilla chips we got at the beginning were stale. We also ordered the micheladas and were made with Clamato, very yummy and huge. Service was great very nice. The music was great and the patio are offers nice shade.

I can't say enough good things about this place! Wow the vibe was intimate but still so fun and the food was too reasonably priced bc it's so much for the price and the flavor wow. Im ofc Hispanic lived in Mexico for a while and I go back and forth and for me to praise mariscos in SA oof. The service is great! Fernando was an excellent server, super efficient, friendly and informative. Please give it a try but head the warning that if the server says it's spicy it's actually spicy!

Costa Pacífica needs to work on their food menu. Some of their plates look like the fajita express restaurant, very simple. The aguachiles were good but the flower is a No No! They need to improve on their service and get a good bartender. Ambience was good.

Chicharron de Rib Eye
Sylvia A.

Introduced to a new yummy spot today ALL of it was delicious The marinero rice was soo freaking delicious The chicharron de rib eye was very tasty -- served with fresh avocado slices, pico de gallo & delicious corn tortillas The mango chamoy margarita was bomb .. tasted like a mangonada I didn't taste any alcohol ‍ but I was way more relaxed after ‍ The staff and ambiance was great. Definitely want to return for an evening of dinner as I understand they have music there on some nights.

The Prime Steak Tataki was a tad salty to my taste but it was perfect with the crusty bread. We enjoyed lobster, shrimp and an assortment of oysters. We initially had our eyes on other food items but we quickly got stuffed. We will have to come back again, very soon! We love Eddie V's! Best wishes to Manager Michael's upcoming engagement with his fiancée.

It's located in a shopping center in the Stone Oak area with plenty of parking, even though we went late on a Friday night. The indoor dining was clean, spacious and enough tables to accommodate several parties. Live music for entertainment made for a relaxing time. The indoor lighting had a slight blue tint to provide more of a layback experience. The coconut shrimp appetizer was a good choice and very tasty. The Mojarra Chicharron, whole deep fried Tilapia, was not only delicious, but the presentation was perfect. Precut fried chunks placed on top of the fish made it easy to dip in the sauce and eat. Wifey went with the Pasado Del Rio, filet of Salmon, with lemon butter. It was well prepared and had a good blend of flavors. The prices were fair compared to other upscale seafood restaurants with entrees in the $20 range but also offer some Chef specials up to $75 for a shared meal. But every time we go, I remember exactly why we keep coming back. The seafood is consistently great, the seasoning is on point, and those buckets disappear embarrassingly fast when they hit the table. I swear I have to remind myself to slow down because I practically inhale the food every time. One of my favorite parts of the experience is the margarita flight. It's a fun addition, lets you try different flavors, and pairs surprisingly well with all the seafood and spice. The service has always been solid, the atmosphere is lively, and the food never disappoints. It's definitely a splurge, but it's one of those places where I leave happy every single time. It did have a good price for cocktails which was nice though! The espresso martini was great, however the beans were a bit chewy. I switched to an old fashioned made with Buffalo Trace and it was delicious though. Service was kinda spotty with my waiter disappearing quite a bit. Maybe they see a table with one diner and think they're not going to get a decent tip. I had to ask another server for something at one point which should never be the case. The food was good though. It was hard to decide and since I was on a budget with a work expense, I had to choose wisely and put the booze on a separate tab. The salad was good and fresh and their cajun French dressing was bad. I switched to ranch and was able to enjoy it. The Catfish dish was delicious and came with shrimp, lump crab and oysters. Nice portion size and I was mostly satisfied. The sauce was pretty good for being outside of Louisiana, but still not "authentic". Is anywhere outside of LA great though? Luckily, it was walking distance from my hotel so easy to get to from there. It's on a "frontal" road so you may be driving in circles if you venture here on your own. I'd probably see what else San Antonio has to offer if I return to the area though as it didn't blow me away.

When I brought it to the manager's attention, I was told it was a fish scale. Unfortunately, that explanation did not match what I saw. Fish scales are typically thin, flexible, translucent, and often irregular in shape. What was in my food was hard, opaque, curved, and looked very much like long fingernail. The difference was obvious enough that I did not find the manager's explanation credible. Finding any foreign object in food is concerning, but what made the experience worse was feeling that my concern was dismissed rather than taken seriously.
