We had dinner reservations for 6:30 PM and we were not seated until 7:30 PM. What's the point of making reservations when you have to wait an hour. We had a baby with us which made it a bit frustrating. With that said, I will say that our waiter was very good. He was friendly and he got our orders right. There were 9 of us so that was refreshing. We had a range of entrees from chicken and beef kebabs, chile relleno, spinach quesadillas, beef fajitas and red snapper. Our food was actually good. No complaints there. The place is a bit noisy so beware for those who are sensitive to noise. There's always an option for outdoor sitting. This restaurant has been around for over 30 years so they are obviously doing something right. They really need to work on improving their reservation system.

I was saddened to see the breakfast buffet is gone. Great service and the same people are there that have been for years. Food is delicious, but the brunch is gone and it's just an omelette bar now. I miss the huge tub of guacamole. Times change and get it

Best Margaritas! My taco salad was delish. Our waiter was top notch too and it was a bust Friday night.

we stopped in for happy hour. My wife has carpel tunnel surgery on her hand tomorrow so I got to get happy. We sat in the bar and got great service. Bar tables good but chairs a little shaky. We had chips/salsa and ordered queso. Happy hour menu GREAT and everyone knew it. It got packed by 5:00. Obviously lots of regulars. Margs were very good and powerful and the wife had to drive back to the hotel. Interaction with the other customers was fun. One day we will come and actually sit at a table and order real food. My only ding are the chips. They were too thick rather than light and crispy. Queso was great and salsa was very good and fresh. Again, our waiter was very good.

El Jarro de Arturo was a big nope for me. I met a friend here for dinner and ordered the FAJITA TACOS - BEEF OR CHICKEN - 13.95 and a house margarita. Price was pretty good considering it was two tacos, borracho beans and guacamole. But overall, their prices are a bit too high for the quality of their food. The meat in the fajita tacos was unpalatable. It was chewy and I really couldn't eat most of it. The beans and guacamole were tasteless, and the margarita was ok. The service was good, but I did not like that when we requested separate bills, the waiter wrote out prices on a piece of paper. I will never understand this approach to separate bills. I'm not sure I will eat at El Jarro again. It definitely did not meet my Tex Mex expectations.

The food is subpar. The place is old & needs renovation. The service is adequate. Will probably not go back.

The waitress was constantly coming to our table to ask for drinks. There was this girl that asked to take a picture of my family and I and we agreed, when she took the picture she print it out and asked us if we wanted it but the picture was free unlike some people who make you pay. The whole restaurante gave calm and cool vibes. I loved the decoration and they had the FIFA on. It was especially beautiful since it was during the World Cup. From a tourist that went from Fort Worth to San Antonio, I can say trying this restaurant was worth it.

Everyone enjoyed their food! One of our party was having a birthday and the entire wait staff came and sang happy birthday to her. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and Jeshua was an amazing waiter!!! Tip was included on our separate checks. We will definitely return!!

We started with the cream cheese-stuffed chiles, and they were outstanding. They had the perfect balance of sweetness with just enough spice. We also shared the tiradito, which was incredibly fresh, bright, and the perfect appetizer for a seafood feast. My husband ordered the Sopa Siete Mares and a shrimp cocktail. The portions are generous, so there was no way he could finish both, but he absolutely loved the cocktail. The flavors were fresh, well-balanced, and exactly what you want from great mariscos. I can never pass up Culichi-style sushi, so I ordered the breaded El Ronin roll, while my daughter had El Samurai. If you've never had Sinaloa-style fusion sushi, you're missing out. The flavors are bold, creative, and so satisfying. My other daughter ordered the pulpo, and it was cooked perfectly tender from the first bite to the last, with none of the chewiness that octopus can sometimes have. To top it all off, I had a cocktail called the Fish. It was served in the cutest little bird-shaped glass and made with vodka, passion fruit, mango, and lemon. It was refreshing, fruity, and the perfect complement to the meal. Between the fresh seafood, generous portions, creative menu, and excellent flavors, Aguazul delivered a fantastic Father's Day lunch. We'll definitely be back!

It's located in a shopping center in the Stone Oak area with plenty of parking, even though we went late on a Friday night. The indoor dining was clean, spacious and enough tables to accommodate several parties. Live music for entertainment made for a relaxing time. The indoor lighting had a slight blue tint to provide more of a layback experience. The coconut shrimp appetizer was a good choice and very tasty. The Mojarra Chicharron, whole deep fried Tilapia, was not only delicious, but the presentation was perfect. Precut fried chunks placed on top of the fish made it easy to dip in the sauce and eat. Wifey went with the Pasado Del Rio, filet of Salmon, with lemon butter. It was well prepared and had a good blend of flavors. The prices were fair compared to other upscale seafood restaurants with entrees in the $20 range but also offer some Chef specials up to $75 for a shared meal. The service was adequate even though our server had a large table next to us. Others stepped in and picked up the slack, thus saving the night.
