Love the food, and service. It's quiet in the middle of the day and week. Mouth-watering food presentations and choices.

By far the best in the area when it comes to good quality food, service, and ambiance. Had a family of 16 gathering to celebrate a birthday. Took three minutes for them to set up a table and settle us in. They quickly took our drink requests and let us view the menu. Since it wasn't our first visit, we knew what we wanted. We ordered two molcajete El Bucanero, 1 Cameron's El Bucanero, 1 Bucanero Platter, 1 Filet de Pescadop a La Plancha, 1 Fajita mixes, and 1 fish and fries. Everyone left full with leftovers that went home. Service was on us to ensure we were happy. Drinks refilled without asking. I love the decor of this resturant so festive. Only point taken off, like everything in this country we noticed the Molcajetes were not stacked as high. Guess their way of coping with high grocery costs. Thank you to our server Elsadin. Will we come back?, Of course!

The service is fast, courteous and friendly. El Bucanero has great lunch specials. I love their green squash based salsa.

the food was really good, the service was amazing the worker was nice. The environment was really really clean.

I am a person that doesn't like seafood but oh my god. I saw the Mexican menu and the enchiladas were delicious. The service was amazing as-well. The waitress was constantly coming to our table to ask for drinks. There was this girl that asked to take a picture of my family and I and we agreed, when she took the picture she print it out and asked us if we wanted it but the picture was free unlike some people who make you pay. The whole restaurante gave calm and cool vibes. I loved the decoration and they had the FIFA on. It was especially beautiful since it was during the World Cup. From a tourist that went from Fort Worth to San Antonio, I can say trying this restaurant was worth it.

If you want good seafood and tasty with a drink this is the place to be. I have been to their other location but this one was my first time (Embassy Oaks), their customer service remain the same at their 3 locations. They have several different Mexican dishes.

What a great place to have fish. We had lunch here and did the lunch special. It's a very hearty meal. We had pan fried fish with french fries and salad. Our waitress was extremely knowledgeable of the restaurant and very kind to us. The service is excellent. You feel like you're in a real fisherman's town as you walk in. The walls are all plastered with manual items so you can actually see what the dish is all about this makes and looks the place. Feel like you're on a pier or on a wharf. I definitely recommend trying El Bucanero.

Overall, I wasn't too crazy about this place. Service, Joel G, was great, but the food and drinks were very mid. The vibes were cool, lots of Christmas decor. The grilled fish was very bland, like no seasoning, but the grilled shrimp were over seasoned. The ceviche was good, and had that been all we got, I would say this place is great.. but ceviche is more like a snack or appetizer in my opinion. The margarita wasn't anything special, and the michelada just tasted like premade mix and beer. It does come with a HUGE beer, and it's $23.50. The margarita was $15. The prices aren't on the menu, in my opinion they're a little overpriced. Especially the margarita. It can't be any more than 12-16 ounces for $15. Good to try once, but probably wouldn't come back.

Mid food, vibe is less than average. The lighting feels off. Decor is mainly glamour shots of entrees. The salsas are tasty. Drink prices are absent from the menu, so I'm guessing they are very embarrassed to show them. Got the check, drinks range $14-15 which is pricey for what they are. The many molcajetes entrees which appear on the featured menu without prices.

The food is always consistent here but the service and be slow sometimes and the wait times longer. It is usually clean and the music always is great.

Our experience here has always been good. The music gets loud when the mariachis play but hey, it's mariachis. The food is usually hot and comes out quick. The service is always good. Servers have always checked in on us but not checked in to the point of interrupting while we at too much. The decore is always changing with the season/holidays. They seem to go all out all the time with the decore. Keeps it interesting.

The food tonight was Very delicious as always. What made the night extra special was the service we received from Josue Enriques. He was very attentive to everyone and that being said that we had had a large party. Next time you are in town come on by and ask for Josue. You will not be disappointed!!

When he asked about barracho beans, Anthony brought them right away. The ice tea was strong and tasty and he kept our glasses filled. Everything was flavorful and beautifully presented. The building is new. It's very open with high ceilings, lots of windows and cement floors. There was plenty of outdoor seating. There were only a few parking spaces by the entrance. There was free parking on nearby side streets or paid parking in lots behind the restaurant. We would definitely go back when in San Antonio again. The drink menu looked fun! From the moment I walked in, I could tell this place was special. The atmosphere is beautiful, upscale, and inviting. The architecture and design throughout the restaurant are absolutely stunning. Even the restrooms were impressive and reflected the same attention to detail found throughout the entire establishment. The food was outstanding. Every dish was beautifully presented and packed with flavor. This isn't your typical restaurant experience--the menu is creative, unique, and offers something different. You can tell a lot of thought goes into both the preparation and presentation of every plate. What really made the experience unforgettable, though, was the customer service. My waitress, Kreizon, was absolutely amazing. She was friendly, attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely made me feel welcome throughout my visit. Great service can make a good meal even better, and she definitely elevated the entire experience. Electronic dance music pulsed quietly in the background. The toilets were all individual unisex stalls that were classy, mine had run out of hand towels. Also, the entire restaurant is very dimly lit. I had to use the flashlight on my phone to read the menu, but I have poor eyesight so there's that, but it might explain the quality of the photos I took. The Paloma drink was amazing. It had a great spicy zing in the back of the throat after every sip. Queso was... kinda plain. It might have been better with the add chorizo option. It was very thick. Shrimp cocktail was big, but we started fighting over the shrimp pieces. There was plenty of onion and tomato left over after the batttle. Pollo Asado was a great flavor and the chicken was juicy. Grilled squash that was on the side was good. Chicken enchiladas were good and had freshly sliced jalapeños, which is always a welcome detail. I wasn't able to taste the quesadilla but my daoughter said it was "really good". Fried Chicken sandwich had a great flavor and the bacon was actually pork belly if I'm not mistaken. Sadly there was more batter than chicken. The seasoned fries were delicious and crispy.

We sat on the back patio for dinner on a day when it was 100 degrees out and there were fans all over to help keep the air flowing, which helped immensely. Their salsa tray is nice too, they have 4 to select from and you get three in this appetizer, but we ordered the 4th as well and all were pretty nicely done. The verde was amazing and the roasted tomato was great, just not spicy at all. I tried their combo fajitas and was thankful they came out being simply plated, rather than on the blazing hot, sizzling skillet - I don't need the show, just the good eats. The meats were decent, the beans were amazing. The tortillas were just ok, as I felt like they were way too thick. They offered corn tortillas too, but I'm in Texas, so you get flour, not corn. Save room for dessert, they have amazing churros! Overall, this was a decent visit. Service was nice too. I'd recommend stopping in.

It was delicious! The concha was soft, buttery and flaky, with just the right sweetness. We took home the majority of it and it stayed nice and soft instead of turning hard like so many others. We decided to try several appetizers to go along with our concha to get a wider taste of their food than we would by just ordering a couple entrees. Let me tell you, this was a great idea! We ordered the Tosti-Ceviche Verde, Panela Asado, Mexican Street Corn, and their Spicy Bean Dip. The Ceviche Verde was excellent, the freshness of the fish and shrimp was wonderful with the chipotle mayo and avocado. We chose to have it on the salsa Verde Tostitos and it was all great combination. The Panelo Asado was a completely new dish for us and was extremely good with a savory flavor from the salsa Tlaquepaque that mixed well with the Panela cheese. Their tortillas though not made in house, are made for them and taste like mom made them. The Mexican Street Corn was great and had the perfect bit of char taste from the corn. It was creamy and flavorful, we did think it could use just a tad more lime juice though. The Spicy Bean Dip was very good. You can't go wrong with Oaxaca, Chorizo, and pieces of pork mixed with some mildly spicy beans. Our server was fantastic. She had great recommendations for us, and was quick with checking on our drinks and generally helping us throughout our dinner. The food was prepared quickly, was hot, tasteful and refreshing.
