The food is great ( like any other Costa Vida) but this location for some reason is always SO slowwwww. Idk why, because it can be busy or not & they still run extremely slow. Staffing could use an overhaul. Especially after shopping & you're hungry- you shouldn't have to wait 15 mins for a salad to be prepared at a Costa Vida when you're the only person in line. Now I remember why I don't come to this establishment often. I bought their regular grilled steak salad and the girl in the blue shirt barely gave me any rice and grilled steak. I usually am a fan of Costa Vida so I was excited when I found out there was going to be one at Station Park...But the service at this location IS TERRIBLE. The employees are young and inexperienced- none of them can even make eye contact or force a smile let alone ask you what you'd like on your salad/burrito. The food (which is usually really good) is sloppy and the presentation is disgusting. This place reminds me of la salsa, I had the two toco's meal fish, shrimp with mango salsa it was aright, my bro got the sweat pork burrito it was good, my wife got the beef burrito and it was okay. Costa Vida has great food and service! The sweet pork is fantastic and I love their chicken mango salad with the mango dressing! I also like that you can get a small or large salad where at Cafe Rio you can only get large. I also think their house dressing isn't as spicy as Cafe Rios. When I am watching my calories I get the mango salad with mango dressing and when I am not I get the pork salad with house dressing. Great options for dieters and non dieters! read more

Costa Vida is perfect for lunch on a hot day. The food is fresh, always hot, and perfect portions, too. Always a good experience. We use to go to Cafe Rio, but we stopped as soon as they changed their interior to look like a hospital cafeteria. My family loves the fun and inviting atmosphere at Costa Vida. If there is 5 people in line before you, plan on waiting 20 minutes to get your food. Tonight was the worst experience I've ever had at this location and it was a doozy. 2 of the 3 employees didn't know how to make their pork nachos and had to ask me for assistance. I don't blame the employees for their lack of training; this is purely a result of poor management. After paying for the food and a drink I had to get my own cup because the cashier forgot to get me one. Where was the manager/supervisor during all of this? I love Costa vida and I love this location. It's always busy, but they do a good job in keeping the line moving. They aren't stingy with ingredients (the Layton location is so bad at that)and they always try to fix it if they do make a mistake. We come here often because the food is great and it's one of the few things my picky kids ask for over and over again. I really like their mobile app too. No more fishing around in my purse for a punch card anymore!! I like that I just scan the receipt and get the points. read more

Your portions SUCK! Don't waste your money, go to Cafe Rio. The burrito is 1/2 the size of Cafe Rio's. Your meat potion is pathetic for the price you charge. If you ask for more lettuce or Pico, other than the tiny half filled laddeling they give,Costa Vida charges an extra fee. At Cafe Rio I have never ever been charged, ever, asking for more lettuce and pico; sometimes 3-4 extra laddelings. Costa Via if your portions were on par with the rest of your market competitors, I would not feel like I'm being robbed. I want to try to like you, but I hate feeling robbed and verbally assaulted. Love Costa vida. Love. Went to this location hungry and knowing I would have great food and great service. Instead, we waited 5 minutes before we were even greeted. We were the only patrons there. When we were finally greeted it was with irritation and not friendliness at all. We were just told they will help us in a minute. When they finally did take our order tell girl acted irritated that we were even there. I asked for the mango chicken salad. She slapped rice in my container and was going to to beans when I told her that I didn't want rice or beans. She was not happy about that. Then asked what kind of meat.... I repeated that I wanted a mango chicken salad. Irritated her again. She passed it down to the next kid for my toppings and started on the next order. After the kid finished my toppings I waited to be rung up. Had to wait to have my order rung forever because the kid that finished my order didn't so that and the girl that did was out in the lobby area doing who knows what.
