Shady practices. Got a quote over the phone to install a pre-cut dirt bike seat cover. 30 bucks I get to the store and I get a new quote of 40 bucks. (This is as straight forward of an install as it gets) I ask for the justification and I get, "well that was the phone quote, the new quote is 40". I say, good day, that's too much for 15 mins work. As I walk out the door, they say they'll do it for 35. I respond with OK, I'll do 35 if you guys do a good job. Here's the kicker.. the owner responds, "you'll get 35 dollars worth of quality". That blew my mind. Told them forget it and walked out the door. Avoid this place like the plague, unless you like the taste of bull$hit. read more

Skip this place - don't even call them for a quote. I talked to Mike who quoted me over the phone for custom seat cover install for $140 ~ 2 hours of labor. I would have done it myself but figured to play it safe and have it professionally installed. I arrive there with the covers and then was quoted $280... I ended up letting them install it anyway because it was the only day I had my schedule open. When it was done it came out OK, not the best I've seen. read more

I took my '90 Miata to Mike. He put on a new top, tinted rear window, new fabric and padding on the seats, deck carpet, trunk carpet, a cover for the spare and dynamat throughout. Everything was done on schedule and the car came out great. He worked around the rollbar that was installed and didn't miss a beat. After everything else (motor, performance upgrades, new paint) the work Mike did was the icing on the cake. Summer-time is coming again and I'll be racing throught the windy roads in style. Over internet, spent $179 on real nice, custom embroidered floor mats. Seller's best guess, they should work with my application ( Meyers Manx dune buggy ). Unfortunately, they did not fit. No one's fault. On way home from work, I stopped by Costa's shop, off Curtner and 87. Mike spent 15 mins with me, different suggestions and shot me what I considered a fair base price. Few days later, I dropped off the floor mats. I marked where I wanted em cut to size. Mike spent time with me, suggesting what he thought he may do and making sure that we were both on the same page. Next day, Mike called, says they are ready. He worked hard to save the trim material around the mat ( a color I had paid on line company extra for ). Picking em up at the shop, the Mats looked beautiful. Could not tell any one had done any modifications at all. Appeared to factory made. Although I know that Mike had to have spent a bit more time on them than he suggested it might take him, he charged me the lower quote. I saw the work he had going on in his shop. He was hand making a small part ( I think a bracket ) for a customer's car that was broken and no longer available. It worked fine and customer gave him a hug. Appears she had been to 2 other shops, where she said, because of that broken bracket, they could not help her. On my way out the door right now, to drop off some Corvette bucket seats to ask him to make one off custom seat uphoulstery for me. Fair price for excellent work. If you are thinking about a convertible top repair or replacement. Maybe interior repairs to upholstery, do yourself a favor, at least stop and see Mike, get an honest quote from a guy that really cares about what he is doing and will go out out of his way to treat you right. read more

Took our convertible BMW here to replace the weather beaten and damaged vinyl window. Paid $750 for a replacement window and re-stitching of main cross stitches on the top. Quality was merely average and they did NOT clean up after the installation!! Lots and lots of debris left all over the front and back seats that could have easily been vacuumed, but wasn't. While the new clear vinyl window is nice that we can see through, it is a lot nosier in the cabin since a layer of OEM fabric is missing now. In hind sight... would never go to this business and have them do any work if I could do it over again. Certainly won't be returning again due to amateur quality work. Main buyers remorse is that I could have had BMW do an even better OEM job for the same money!! Instead I have a noisier cabin that looks less professional and I had to clean up the mess afterwards. Just Laziness in my book. read more

I took my 2006 F150 in to have a large tear in the drivers seat repaired. Mike was very helpful in looking into all my options. In the end I opted to let him repair the damaged foam under the cover and to create a new seat cover in house using OEM materials. I was very pleased with the results, the cover he made was an exact match to what was there before, you would never know it wasn't the OEM seat cover. A little late on my review, I plain forgot. I had a very minor seat repair needed in my truck. Mike was referred to me by a co-worker whose family has been using them for years. Back to my drivers side truck seat; the lumbar adjust did not work, the seat, bottom and side bolsters had compressed a lot ('99 GMC) Mike did it in a day, very reasonable and he was able to make the lumbar support work as needed.
