You can place food order inside when you're checking out and also via the kiosk outside. So then you can skip the line and go straight up to pick up window. I've always loved my slices of cheese or pepperoni pizza. These past months I've been extra impressed by the beautiful, evenly baked crust on my slices. You can add food court items with the cashier inside the warehouse and then pick up the food at the food court. Cashier inside warehouse confirmed my order, scanned the wrong item so the food court hands me the wrong item. I tell the food court employee its the wrong item and she argues thats whats on the receipt, as if im responsible for whats on the receipt. A gigantic 18'' pepperoni pizza for $9.95 is unheard of in today's environment of shrinking portion sizes and hyperactive price increases. The pie itself isn't bad slathered in cheese and perfectly placed pepperoni. The skinflint pricing is probably a loss leader for this $170B warehouse club behemoth but on closer inspection it also bears witness to the encroachment of AI and robotics in a market where Giuseppe the old country, local pizza spinner once held sway. The dough is kneaded, stretched and sauced by machine with the only human interaction being the application of cheese and toppings. When said that way it frankly doesn't sound that appetizing but neither does the cheese and toppings coagulating to one side during transport from Dominos and the equally disagreeable Papa John's. Costco isn't my favorite pizza but it certainly beats some of the locals in taste and offers a far more generous (robotic) hand when the absolute size and extras are accounted for. Not bad for a change of pace and certainly eons ahead of the gruesome frozen pies languishing in suspended animation at your local supermarket... or even Costco for that matter. You get what you pay for. Food is consistent and great from Costco to Costco. Came here in the afternoon and line was fairly long. At this time of day the sun is beating down on this side of Costco pretty hard. Waited about 20 min before reaching the window. 2 hot dog/soda, 1 chicken bake, 1 churro, and 1 strawberry ice cream cup: 10.47 +1.07 tax. Food aside, the facilities were pretty dirty and unkept. Forget the over-priced Roast Beef Sandwich. THE GOOD: It looks promising with abundant slices of roast beef, topped with red and green stuff sticking from beneath a thick chiabatta roll. THE BAD: The taste. The taste of everything. It's topped with a sticky mystery sauce that alternates between too sweet and too tangy. Mystery sauce smothers the beef, which has it's own oddly institutionalized flavor- like it expired long ago after spending its life wrapped too tight in plastic. The bread looks like it should have come from a deli, but it has it's own institutionalized flavor along with a flat, grainy texture. THE UGLY: The price. Really? Ten bucks for a sandwich that should be served from an airport machine the TSA declared hazardous to life as we know it? How could Costco go so wrong. The lines are typically always busy when I'm here especially between 11:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. But wait time isn't too bad. The employees are cool. Debit/credit or cash is accepted. Parking is - in my opinion - the best near this food court. I tried a bite of the all beef hot dog that the little minions shared. It's thick, but cooked through. Bun was fresh. I'm a fan. The chicken Caesar salad was a surprise for me. Everything was fresh. The chicken didn't have any tough pieces. Wasn't my favorite chicken. Wasn't the most exciting salad, but it was a healthy option. Free refills on the soda fountain ($1.50 with your choice of the beef or Polish dog). The churro... hey, I'm not disappointed for $1. The layout of this food court is pretty brilliant because it faces the main street Telegraph, so anyone sitting in their vehicle/bike or even skateboarding by can not miss the large menu on display (if they turn to look, that is). Plus the cost of feeding a family won't put a dent in your wallet. Ordered two chicken bakes, a BBQ beef brisket sandwich, berry smoothie, and latte mocha freeze for about $15! The chicken bake has been a family favorite. Creamy chicken and ham mix filled in a cheesy crusty bread. I bet it would taste even better with mushrooms! The sandwich looked more like a burger and was pretty tasty but after a few bites, I felt like it was too sweet for my liking. I thought it was interesting that it included cole slaw, but the heaviness of both the BBQ sauce and cole slaw dressing was just too much half way into the burger. Had to get churros for my boo. Personally I think don't think there is anything special about their churros but he wants it so okay. I had to wait for 10 minutes for them. When the guy called my #, he had a huge pizza box in front of him so I hesitated. He gave me an exasperated look like "Are you deaf? I said churros." So I said, "They're in the box?" A terse, "Yes." This location is close to my work so on occasion we order pizzas for the crew here. ALWAYS order ahead because they'll take longer than a normal Costco for walk-in orders. Usually only have 1-2 windows opened during peak service hours, which is a head scratcher especially considering you see there's a full staff on hand. The food is what you come to expect from a Costco Food Court: Pizza, Hot Dogs, salads etc. and the surprise test item like the chili beans or Pollo Asado salad (which I don't recommend the latter). You purchase one when checking out, and you have to wait 20 or more minutes even though it takes you 15 minutes to get to the window to pick it up. You walk up and order and it 40 minutes.
