    Country Fried Steak and Eggs

Mixed reviews had me thinking twice but I went anyways. Love the classic diner style and decor. Busy place offering classic American cuisine. We waited about 20 minutes. The service was hit or miss and a little chaotic. They forgot a couple of our items. I tried their country fried steak. Small but flavorful so I'll take that. My wife loved her corned beef hash. She hadn't had one that good in a long time. My kids shared a turkey sandwich and bacon n eggs. They had no complaints. The prices are reasonable. Good food with a unique experience.

Season fries were perfectly fried and tasty and crunchy. The banana split was delicious they use Thrifty Ice Cream so you know its good. Friendly host / server. Great decor great food. Come on sunday you will like the nostalgia of this establishment.

We were in the area for shopping and decided to grab some food at Ozzie's. We came in on November 30th, around 2pm and were able to grab a both and order. I ordered the Hot Link breakfast with scrambled eggs, hashbrowns and sourdough toast. It was very good and tasty, great meal. Our server was Maria.M and she was very nice and took care of us for our entire meal. Nice diner with plenty of seating and good prices. Plenty of parking as well.

After a really long day of traveling, we ended up here at Ozzies Diner. What a gem this place is. The waitress was wonderful. The food was also very good and had some good portions for the price. My spaghetti came with a delicious salad. Also the noodles were very different! They were very thick and tasted super good with the sauce!

Great experience coming here today I always drive by when going home so my family and I decided to stop by and give it a try. All the food was good and it came out really quick even though they were backed up. The employees are all friendly and in good moods . We will definitely come back

Ozzie's Diner is a real 1950's diner. It is not a newer nicer dressed up to be a 50's diner. It is the real thing. It is family owned. They serve wonderful comfort food, just like you would get in any great diner. They also have a full bar. The place is so cute and comfortable. There is a counter and great booths. It is spotless inside and out. There is not a bad meal to be had there. They serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. Their breakfast fare is great. Their pancakes are fluffy and wonderful. Their hash browns are divine. You have to try their biscuits and gravy. Their waffles are super tasty. We especially love their burgers. They are cooked to order just the way you might want them. Their fries are great and they have a chili that is wonderful. The mac and cheese is so very good. They can make a great salad. You will love their beefeater sandwich. They have a menudo soup that is just the best. Parking is easy and free. The service is fast and very friendly. All of the staff is great. You will love this place.

I had Ozzie's on my list. I was in the area at the right time for lunch and stopped by. The restaurant has been in business sense 1957 . It does also have a bar in the back. The restaurant has that old dinner look to it . It was clean and looks great. I ordered the Ozzie club with Cole slaw. They do have many choices on the menu. The food came out and it all looked delicious. I enjoy the the Cole slaw. It had a sweet flavor and a little bit of vinegar flavor too. The sandwich is on lightly toasted bread with cranberry sauce. I really enjoyed it. The waitress was friendly too Overall I was happy I stopped by.

Stopped in for my first time this past weekend and was pleasantly surprised. I am working down a list of all diners in LA and this being a well-known one on the list. Located in Commerce it's not my favorite area of town, but the food quality is worth the visit. They have a large parking lot with free parking and all of the staff that we encountered were very polite and prompt. Inside is quite large and half of it is a sports bar with big screen TVs and a full service bar. They did a good job on the design inside and would definitely be somewhere I'd want to check out in a future visit. They don't have outdoor seating but plenty of indoor options. They have a huge menu filled with all sorts of classics and they really market their steaks and meat, especially. For my breakfast, I chose the Hamburger Steak & Eggs and thought it was all around great. The patty was extra flavorful and I opted for a side biscuit with gravy, which was a great choice because it was very fluffy and very good. Pricing is extremely fair and the portion sizes are large. I would definitely recommend to any fan of diners and especially anyone in or visiting this part of LA.

This place was a great experience! Evelyn was amazing and definitely needs a raise and Riccardo fixed us the best breakfast for a late dinner and needs to be on the food network! Definitely go to Ozzie's!

What time is the bar and grill side open?

I don't know when they open the bar and grill side. I would call and see what they say.

How much for the fish and chips?

Not sure how much the fish and chips cost. I would guess between $10-15 dollars.

Just a couple of weeks ago, my friends and I were considering our options for where to have brunch to celebrate one of our friend's retirement. Toast was one of the names I dropped in the metaphorical hat, and it won the vote of a few. My friends were surprised that I had named a spot I hadn't yet tried since I'm usually the "foodie" of the group. However, another girl in the group who had been here before vouched for it. I'm glad I finally got to try this place this past weekend, and I cannot wait to return! There were so many things on their menu that I wanted to try. A couple of the ladies ordered green chilaquiles, the friend we were celebrating ordered the Spanish Omelet, another woman I'd met that day had the bacon and eggs, another one ordered the Biscuits and grave with a side of bacon that looked perfectly crispy. I wish I had taken pictures of the plates as it all looked so lovely! I didn't even take a picture of my own food haha. I had my eyes on an omelet, one of the Benedicts or the Chicken n Waffle. In the end, the chicken and waffle won. It comes served with a little container of maple syrup with bacon pieces. The chicken was perfectly crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. The waffle was delicious, though I did request for some extra syrup on the side. To drink, a few ladies ordered mimosas, one ordered an iced caramel coffee, and I ordered the Carajillo. I fell in love with this drink last summer in Mexico and do not often see it on the menu. I love the subtle citrus notes the Licor 43 adds to this espresso drink. It is very similar to an espresso martini, and theirs comes topped with a toasted marshmallow. I honestly wanted to try almost every item in their Tipsy Barista section of their drinks. I'll just have to come back that many more times :) Plenty of parking in the mall lot. It does get pretty packed during peak hours. Fortunately I had called ahead to put our group of 6 down. We went in on Saturday around 11:30. It slowed down a bit while we were eating, but started to get busy again after 1. Otherwise, we might have been forced to honor their 90-minute rule. All in all, a great experience from everyone in our group. No complaints on the wait, service or food. That certainly deserves a toast. Great job, Toast!

Once we were ready she had our table already prepared. We have to order inside first before you can be seated. Once seated our food came out not too long after. Everything looked and tasted delicious! We ordered the chilaquiles verde, short rib omelette, tropical pancakes (seasonal), and the mango curd french toast (seasonal). The chilaquiles verde was savory and tangy. It wasn't soggy at all and definitely one of my favorite dishes. The short rib omelette was savory but didn't give me any wow factor compared to the other dishes I ordered. The tropical pancakes were so pretty. I only tried a piece of it without the syrup which I think was a mistake because the kumquat syrup was my friend's favorite. I definitely need to try it again with the syrup. Best for last, mango curd French toast was my favorite! I fell in love with sweetness and tanginess of the mango curd. The French toast was soft and you can taste the butter. I wish it was a main menu item. I'll definitely be sad to see it go. They have lots of seating inside and outside.
