My doctor told me about making an acrylic mold for my hearing soda so they'd be less uncomfortable or ticklish in my ears. They made another appointment for me to come back and to bring my hearing aids so I did today and I came early but when I asked them where my hearing aids the girl named Abby or something told me it was being cleaned and the wire on my hearing aids were replaced and so I asked to see my hearing aids and I wanted to speak with the doctor who saw me a couple days ago. But instead of letting me talk to her, they lied that the lady who came after me was here first or her appointment was first and it wasn't first come first serve. So they gave my hearing aids back but it looked different than before so I told them about that. Then lied to me once again and said okay nothing was done to my hearing aids. Then another lady who also worked at the reception desk but more to the left approached and fake apologized on behalf of the office and she was basically trying to get me to shut up and go. She suddenly said she had to contact insurance because the mold the doctor offered to get me suddenly needed to be approved by insurance, another lie. So they made me come all the way here even though my house is far away and I was stuck in traffic and I got here and they all started to lie and give me reasons and tried to blame me for their own miscommunication.

Do not go to this office if you are seeking basic care for an ear infection or similar. They will…read morerequire you to take audible tests for hearing, they do not disclose that requirement, force you to do it otherwise you can't see the doctor, and then charge you for it. I reached out to Ear Associates in May of 2026 to see a doctor for an ear infection. I booked my appointment for 5/29/26. Upon arriving to the doctor's office I was escorted into a room and a provider started running audible testing on me. I asked the provider to stop and expressed concern as i was coming in for an ear infection and thought I was to see a doctor. The provider said I was not allowed to see the doctor until they finished this audible tests. Upon booking of this appointment, no one disclosed anything in regards to a requirement for audible tests. Since i was in dire need to see a doctor, I begrudgingly proceeded. The audible testing lasted for 20-30 minutes. Then i finally got to see a doctor for my ear infection. Even the doctor expressed confusion as to why i was subjected to hearing tests just for an ear infection. The doctor's office agreed to waive the doctor's visit fees, however, I asked to be charged for the doctor's visit and to credit for the audible testing that was not disclosed and forced upon me. The office refused. Additionally, Jacqui Garcia whom was the last person i spoke to at this facility was extremely rude and unhelpful with any further path forward to resolving this issue. Extremely shady. They should be upfront about requiring these hearing tests ahead of seeing a doctor instead of forcing them upon you and refusing to credit it from the bill.

She said "this is my regular speech". What??? Your customers come to your place because they do have problem with hearing and you treated them unrespectfully. I felt uncomfortable at that moment and I told her be friendly, and then she changed her voice tone. But this was so frustrating experience here. Charis - hearing specialist is friendly, but as another person reviewed, she just tried to sell device more than truly listening customer's problem. She is rushed and not active to any ask questions. Before coming here, I got very good experience with hearing specialist at Costco when he consulted me a lot and did different tests and helped me to try with different devices. After a few tries I was resigned to wait 3 weeks for help. After two frustrating days I decided to try again and I found Pacific Hearing Service in Menlo Park. No scheduling problem here as they have a team of Audiologists in the office. I was able to get same day service. I walked in at 4:30 and met Ling Zhong. She took a look in my ear and confirmed it was ear wax and nothing worst causing my discomfort. After a few rounds with the Earigator my ear was cleared and I walked out a happy camper at 5:15. I am someone with mild hearing loss in my left ear while having 4/10 tinnitus in both ears. The…read morehissing mist sound got louder over the few years due to ignorance of going to places with very loud music. Or just me not reacting in time when exposed to places with speakers playing really loud music? These people are the exclusive specialists you should see if you have concerns with tinnitus of any kind. They will pull all of the important hearing tests and properly educate you about tinnitus so you won't believe stuff you see online. I now carry around ear plugs attached to my keys everywhere I go. I may not be able to control random loud sounds outside but I can control how I react. By putting on ear plugs the instant I know loud noises are coming, and living cautiously by not going to places where I know the noise/music is loud.
